Can I give a worse than one star?! I am beyond upset, I took a comforter in to be cleaned, came out destroyed! It was a very expensive piece with matching curtains and room décor. Would NOT recommend to anyone

Swan Cleaners is a longstanding dry cleaning brand in central Ohio with many locations. As a professional who has to dress in suits most of the work week, I generate a lot of collared shirts to be laundered and a lot of suits and sport coats needing dry cleaning. Swan is generally decent, but I would never go to any dry cleaner unless I had a coupon, so check your Paper Mint, newspaper, or mailed ValPaks for good deals. If there are no Swan coupons that month, go elsewhere. The good: Swan’s express bags. Walk in, hand them your blue nylon bag(and coupon) and walk out. Brilliant. The bad: no tab collar shirt I have ever owned has survived more than a few washings at Swan. Somehow, the snap or button on the tab would be smashed flat or cracked beyond usage. Yes, I know tab collars are outdated and out of style now. As Billy Joel sings of tab collars, «Welcome back to the age of jive.» They will repair buttons and do tailoring here, so they will fix damage. The ugly: Not open Sundays? What the hell… that’s the one day I have to get my stuff. Maybe this will change. Life secret… some would call this a «hack,» but I think that is a dumb way to describe anything that doesn’t involve the WOPR computer in War Games. If you have dress shirts that are getting frayed around the collar, and I do because my aging fleet of American made dress shirts are coming up on being 20 years old, you can get the collars«turned.» They unstitch the collar and sew it back on flipped over. Hey presto, it is like having a second life for that shirt. It is pricey, but it’s cheaper than a new shirt, and my now impossible to replace American shirts get an extension of usage. Summary, no dry cleaner is infallible, but Swan is generally good in their service, and when they’re not, a modest amount of grousing should result in the resolution of your complaint. Also, being a longstanding(albeit cheap) customer, likely means they try to take care of my issues because I have spent thousands of dollars here since back in the day. Being a «regular» may seem boring and predictable, but it pays dividends. Now go get those comforters laundered and those pants pressed!

Well i had 2 experiences here. First, I took my down coat here. Somehow they got the down wet, which made it clumpy and smelled.(i thought dry cleaning means that your clothes are suppose to be dry?). After telling the store manager about this, she said that they didn’t do anything wrong and it is my coat’s fault. She did mentioned that my coat is made in China and wasn’t well made. Well, the coat is Theory, and i think they are pretty decent. After talking with a much saner person at the store, the associate basically apologized and asked for the coat to be re-cleaned. And it worked out fine, my coat was dry and is well cleaned. But the store manager is beyond crazy. My second experience was watching somebody blew up at the store. Basically the woman who was getting her clothes back was furious as the cleaners lost like 50% of the beads on the dress. That was crazy. I understand why she was very very furious. And the beads are not small, they are quite big. I don’t get how a cleaner can lose beadings on a dress(and it’s like 50% of the beads) There’s something very wrong with this dry cleaner. I wouldn’t recommend getting your nice clothes here.
