This is an okay place to grab a quick cup of coffee or a snack. They have a limited Starbucks menu and a few unique options like the Buckeye mocha. It’s usually very crowded though, and there’s no place to sit, which sucks if you have time to kill between classes.

This is a fairly utilitarian coffee-n-grabbables stand inside an academic building. Need coffee? Need lunch? In the area? It’s for you. But there are better places for coffee, lunch, or both, on campus or just off it, so don’t go out of your way. It’s really for those on the go, too. There isn’t really any seating aside from some benches lining the hallway. I beat the crowd by a hair when I came through, sat down on one of the benches, and then watched the line materialize and extend halfway down the hall. All in all, it fills a particular need but really does no more than that.

The Campus Grind in McPhereson is a little café that serves Starbucks coffee and some«grab ‘n go» foods. It’s in an extremely high traffic area, but even with an intimidatingly long line you should be able to place your order and get your food in less than ten minutes. They have scones, muffins, sushi, salads, sandwiches, bagels, parfaits, and sometimes the odd cupcake, all reasonably priced, considering it’s campus food. I’d stay away from the hummus, but aside from that the place isn’t so bad. If you use the bagel toaster, make sure you turn it up to it’s highest setting. Super friendly service, even at their busiest. Seems like a bizarre trend, but anytime OSU has a mustached man in food service, he ends up being awesome. Most people flock to the café in the Science and Engineering Library, but depending what you’re looking for, this place is just as good.
