The service was very good. Very attentive and pleasant. However, the burger I had was burnt and tasted charred. I asked for it to be medium. Everything else was fine.

This hidden restaurant is part of the Doubletree by Hilton. It’s actually in the lobby of the Doubletree. They serve a decent dinner, but their breakfast could be a whole lot better. I had the pork chop the first night I stayed here, and it was reasonable. The taste was okay, if not a bit dry(the raisins on top were nice); the baked brie plate wasn’t bad either. For coming at a ridiculously late hour(10 pm maybe?), we were lucky to even get food. The servings are pretty decently sized as well. This place seems to cater to all the business travelers that stay in the hotel. There’s not much that’s special about this place except that it’s a place to eat… that happens to be connected to the hotel. There’s a bar in the center, and diner-esque seating all around, but it’s not a particularly large restaurant. The service is friendly even though the menu items are a bit on the pricey side(but expected from a Hilton hotel chain restaurant). The breakfast could use a little work though. The carafes are kind of in need of maintenance, the buffet selection is small(but the fruit is really good), and the ordered menu items are so so. The pancakes I got in the Deuces Wild were a tad bit on the inedible side(mushy and not very pancake/fluffy like). The sausage and bacon was decent but the scrambled eggs were a bit reminiscent of the powder eggs(the ones in the buffet didn’t look particularly fresh either). They do have a decent view of the river though, and it’s worth sitting by the windows to watch the sun rise. Other than that, I’d probably not come back if I had a choice.
