We had a major backup occurring in the laundry room when we flushed any toilet or took s shower. Our home warranty called The Service People. The job was bigger than one person could handle, but a second representative came out to help — on a Sunday evening. and everything was fixed. New Years Day… major plumbing issues in kitchen and back up in shower. Matt came at 11:45 p.m. to help me. I was in a panic to say the least. He came in and looked at both issues. He found the problem with the shower. Kitchen would have to be the next day due to parts and other issues beyond his control. What a great individual! He was professional, gave us options as to how to correct problems. I would highly recommend Matt for any type of plumbing work… and I am sure the company’s other employees are just as capable. One of their crew came to take a look at my running toilet on July 28th and determined that a new 3″ toilet flapper is needed. After calling to get one and then retrieving and installing it, he told me that the charge was $ 149. I thought this charge was really expensive for a very minor repair. I spoke with other friends about it, and I was told that I was ripped off. I am not going to use this company again. Make sure to ask for repair cost or an estimate ahead of time.

We had a couple of issues in a two week period and both times, Tony from The Service People came out to help us out of our jam. The first time was when water came gushing out of our recessed lighting fixture over breakfast over a weekend. By later that same Saturday afternoon, Tony came and diagnosed the issue and fixed the likely culprit: the toilet. He replaced the seal and we’ve had no problems since. Not even a week later, the pilot went out on our water heater and we felt really lucky Tony came out again to diagnose the problem. We got a new replacement water heater in a matter of days and are super happy with the level of service and attention that he gave us. We feel better knowing that if there’s an emergency, we’ll be taken care of. Thanks so much, Tony!
