Went here for the first time and was helped by the new manager James. He was great. Found exactly what I wanted. Also, no more No Gun Sign on the door ;)

Hmmmmm… Not so sure about this place. Why is it that if I ever go into a «verizon» store I am not real sure what I am walking into? The really big official«Verizon» stores can be an absolute mad-house. The Easton store has made me want to pull my hair out at times — over minor issues that should be fairly simple. But these«certified Verizon dealers» that are popping up everywhere are obviously separate from the official Verizon stores. For starters they only have 5 or 10 phones out on display, all of which cost more than they do online, and if you need any sort of actual service you can go ahead and plan on them SCREWINGYOURSHITUP. So I go into the little Verizon dealer on Olentangy Riv. Rd across from Target and the Lennox Plaza on sunday. I want to pay my bill and play with the new touchscreen BlackBerry to see if I may want to upgrade my current crappy phone. I pay my bill but the printer isn’t working so I can’t get a receipt. I get to play with the BlackBerry but it is not online so I cannot play with the Web Browser(which is going to be a big deal if I am shopping this phone against an iPhone). I check prices on the BlackBerry and the(very nice and rather cute) girl working informs me that this phone is going to cost me $ 50 more than the website told me it would a few days earlier. Oh really? I leave. Monday I go online to look at phones and the Verizon website is yelling at me telling me to pay my bill. Funny, I thought I did that yesterday… I call Customer Service and THEY tell me I should pay my bill. Now I’m pissed. I call back the store and the(really nice and rather cute) girl is there but on the other line with another client. I explain my problem to one associate who relays the info to the girl on the phone and they want me to have Verizon Customer Service call them directly. I call Verizon, AGAIN. Explain my problem, AGAIN. Wait on hold for about 20 mins before these ladies can finally figure out that the girl in the store applied my payment to someone else’s account. I have no idea how, I was the ONLY person in the store when she did this… For those of you keeping score at home, here is what I accomplished in those 4 hours of time spread over two days: I paid my phone bill. And you want me to pay HOW much for that BlackBerry? Hello iPhone…
