I’ve purchased something from TR on two separate occasions. The first experience went well(this is why I’m giving them 2 stars instead of 1). However, I brought the bracelet back that I purchased during my first experience to get another name added it to. I dropped it off on a Sunday — the employee at the register was very unprofessional. She was irritated that her co-worker had been on the phone with a customer for ’15 minutes’. I know this because she voiced this information to the customer in front of me and proceeded to talk about the customer on the phone to the customer ahead of myself(As an HR professional this was very dissappointing and a poor representation of the company). When it was my turn to check out, the same employee didn’t greet me nor did she say anything other than, ‘It’ll be $ 8.40″. She then tossed my paper and the bracelet behind her on a cabinet. I handed her the box I brought along for the bracelet and she tossed that behind her as well. She handed me my change and I left. I returned on Tuesday to pick up the bracelet. The bracelet was not able to be found and the employee(also the manager) that was looking for it was not that concerned and wanted to make me a new one. This was the only manager type behavior she displayed throughout our interaction. About 20 minutes later, after voicing my concerns, she then apologized and asked me who the employee was I interacted with on Sunday. Unfortunately, I don’t see this issue being addressed with the employee I interacted with on Sunday because the manager wasn’t interested in my concern and that was clear. I’m thankful this bracelet was easily replicated; however, I hope this issue will be addressed with the employee. In the future, I will take my business to the other TR locations around the Columbus area.

I found a special gift and had it engraved for my mother. The purchase and engraving we really fast and everything was perfect. I confirmed some information with the recipient and realized I had the gift engraved with the wrong doctorate initials at the end of the name. This was 100% my fault and was expecting I’d have to scrap the gift and get a brand new one. I took the git back to see if there was anything they could do. Jenny had a «can do» attitude and was easily able to fix the engraving without a big stink! I will definitely be back for special occassion gifts, for sure!

I sued to love this store when I was younger but it seems to have not aged well. I always feel like time has sort of stood still when I walk in there. Maybe it has always been like that but doesn’t seem like much has changed over the years. They still have the same stuff… I did recently attempt to get a bracelet engraved there and apparently I am not ‘in the know’ with the cost of engraving these days because GEEZ! The engraving would have cost more than the actual bracelet did. Needless to say, I passed. I don’t know. My verdict is still pending on this store. I think the general concept is good, just needs a bit of rejuvination.
