I didn’t really have any expectations going in to this place. Someone had mentioned the name was pretty iconic so I thought I should probably give it a shot . I would place the quality of the coffee somewhere between gas station and star bucks. All drinks are made through a machine pushed with buttons, not a actual barista.(I could really give a poo either way but some people might). All lattes are automatically made with skim milk(again just to inform, I personally always get mine with skim but some people like the flavor richer milk gives lattes). I know there suppose to be known for their doughnuts. I however opted not to get any because there were tiny bugs flying around the case. To be fair it was raining all day and there the little natty type of bugs that come out when it rains a lot. The case was closed so I think they had been in there all day :(The doughnuts looked amazing though … Maybe next time !

I am no fan of Tim Hortons, but this location is quite nice. I understand that this location is going to be better than the normal, since being attached to Nationwide Arena, but it reminds of places we visited in Boston. The drinks are still lacking, since I got a Mocha and it tasted more like a hot chocolate than an actual espresso drink. My wife decided to get a maple danish, which was it’s saving grace. The seating, layout and décor is modern and updated, which is always a good thing.

Disappointing! This was my first ever visit to a Timmies and will likely be my last. There is a reason we were the only people in here on a Saturday morning while the cafes around us and on the short north were heaving busy. Donuts were pretty good but not exceptional. Coffee was terrible, both my wife’s latte and my regular joe.

I love my tim’s! Don’t get the flavored coffees, flavors are not so good. Iced caps– yummmm. Croissants– yummmm. I try not to eat so many donuts– but they’re pretty yum too! This Tim’s prolly has the coolest women’s room too– a giant floor to ceiling frosted-over window. Its nice to have that natural light to go to! :)

It’s great to have Tim Hortons in the Arena District. This Tim’s is based on a café-style prototype they’ve been testing in Michigan for awhile. The interior is bright and enjoyable to sit in. In addition to the standard fare of coffee, donuts, and sandwiches, there is also a Cold Stone Creamery self-serve frozen yogurt bar, with four yogurt flavors plus a couple dozen different toppings(at 49 cents /ounce). My only complaint is with the placement of the menus and cash registers, which causes very congested people movement patterns — at least at lunch time when I went. Because of this, I’ll stick to what Tim’s does best, which is coffee. OK, maybe the occasional frozen yogurt.
