To begin, they will consistently tell you you’ll be in and out in 10 – 15 minutes when In fact you’ll be waiting for at least 45. Next, they will prey on your naïve knowledge of cars and attempt to do all sorts of things to your car that cost extra. While the guy was pulling things out of my car I asked if this service was included and he said no $ 40. No asking if I wanted it, no warning– he just took the liberty to do it straight away. They said window wiper fluid was included in the service but they never refilled it. They said it was $ 40 over the phone, and I had a $ 10 coupon. They made me get the «mid grade» oil for almost $ 60 and didn’t honor my coupon. In a word, sketchy sketchy sketchy. I do not recommend in the slightest. Left feeling overly regretful that I even thought to go somewhere like this.

Waited maybe 5 minutes for the car in front of me. Quick and easy. They weren’t pushy about getting the extra services, a simple no sufficed. $ 45 seemed a little pricey but it was worth not having to wait and the convenience of right next to my house. Will be going back for my next oil change!

Ha, I would say the service here is excellent. At first, I was hurried to get my oil changed. I searched from the stores around me (actually I have a coupon in buckeye store, but it is a little far away from me), then finally I chose this store. When the guy told me that the price us $ 45, I was shocked. As I thought it was around $ 30. And then I felt so embarrassed. As I thought I should ask them first. Before they started to change my oil, I asked if I can quit as the price was higher than I thought. The worker told me he can give me the discount as I was the first time. And finally it was around $ 32. I do appreciate him so much!

I have been here 3 times. This will be my last time. It takes FOREVER! I’ve never not had at least a 25 min wait to get in. Every time they tell me they are short staffed. Once or twice, ok, but every single time? That’s poor management.
They also really work the upsell.

First time here today — brought in a friend’s car and had the best experience. Jovon, Devon, and Nikolas were so sweet and changed my oil and air filters quickly, even though I know VWs can be a pain in the butt. They seemed a bit short staffed, but they still had a great attitude, even in the cold. I would definitely recommend these guys!

After having plenty of bad experiences with other oil change stations, and being screwed over, Valvoline was great to deal with. I found a $ 15 coupon online, the employee was easy to deal with, made gentle recommendations, but was also genuine about it. Overall, pricing was fair, and I left very happy.

First time here today. Excellent service. Took about 15 mins for the oil change, but had to wait about 10 minutes due to the lines. No one tried to make me upgrade or get something that I didn’t need. Very knowledgeable, friendly technicians. Love the convenience of a drive thru service and enjoyed the friendly customer service. Definitely recommend this place.

Today was my first time visiting this center and I drove away more than pleased!!! They didn’t try to con me into buying anything I didn’t want. They were kind to point out what needed replaced, but when I mentioned that I normally get my car serviced at a Honda dealership, they agreed to have them check it out and price compare. They even fixed the bottom of my car (a piece of plastic was falling loose and scraping) for free! Their prices were good and with the kind of service I received I will definitely be a returning customer!

Got a conventional oil change resisting the upsell to synthetic. Check engine light came on that afternoon. I had the dealer check and the tech didn’t get the intake air hose back on properly causing an error code. They gave me a break and only charged $ 32 for the diagnostic and putting the hose back on. don’t trust these guys. Rome Hilliard road location

They were nice, polite and got the job done in less than ten minutes. They did try to sell me stuff but they weren’t overly pushy. I had a five dollar off coupon but it was still a little pricey at $ 37 including tax for a very basic oil change.

Went here for the first time today. No complaints. They didn’t try to upsell me on anything, but then again my car is newer and shouldn’t need anything replaced. Also, I use synthetic oil by default, so there wasn’t much room for add-​ons.
Still, $ 69 wasn’t completely horrible for a synthetic oil change. I was treated fairly and was in and out of the place fairly quickly. I wouldn’t necessarily feel compelled to recommend this place to others, but it worked for me. I only replace my oil every 10,000 miles and probably won’t be living in Columbus by the time of my next oil change. However, I’d go back if I were.

You know how you come in for an oil change and you leave with a new air filter, new wipers, and opted for some sort of super synthetic oil? Me too. You know how you always get told you need new transmission fluid but doubt the veracity of the statement? me too.
I went to Valvoline today and they had two new women working there. No sales pitch. It went like this: «you like your wiper blades?» «yes» «cool» «ever think about getting your transmission fluid changed? Your’s is fine but in the next few years you might want to change it. It is expensive but we usually have a coupon» «ok» «so just regular oil?» «yes» «great.»
And I’m done!
That was so much better than being talked down to by some dude who thinks he can make me buy all kinds of stuff I don’t need.
This was also the first time someone said to me «your air filter looks fine. I’m not going to replace it unless you want me too.»

I decided to knock out two requirements at once one day and took my car here for an oil change while i went next door for a Mexican lunch. A sign on the wall indicated different levels of oil changes, with the price going up as the oil got more synthetic. I opted for the cheap one (about $ 30), but one of the guys still gave me a bit of an informational talk cum sales pitch on why to go with the higher grade services. I persisted in my el cheapo choice and gave them the keys. They said it would be finished in about 30 minutes
I ate and came back in about half and hour, and they were just finishing up. I crouched along the wall and digested my food for just a bit before they pulled the car out, took my payment, and returned the keys. The guys seemed pleasant and level-​headed. All in all, it was a painless and convenient experience
