This Wendy’s is fantastic. It’s about the same as all the others on food. I like it because it’s probably as good as fast food gets — not too hot, not too cold, the usual. I also love this service because it’s QUICK! I’m in and out really fast. The staff are excellent as well. I’ve never had a negative experience there. They are always happy. I even like the sign on the register: «Smiles are free.» It’s also really close to the CBus – another plus! Note: If you’re trying to use this location to work on homework or writing(as I do frequently) it’s a good place to do so because they have FREEWIFI. Just bring along some headphones if you have trouble concentrating because they do play the television and and it can be slightly difficult to concentrate. ALSO: They have at least one outlet for your laptop.

It’s Wendy’s — you know what you’re getting when you come here. I don’t eat much fast food, but every now and then I crave one of their Spicy Chicken sandwiches(add onion & pickle… trust me on this). This South Campus Wendy’s is the most convenient location to my apartment, which is kind of a bummer because this particular Wendy’s is usually a pretty big disappointment. Order accuracy is hit or miss and the last time I visited, the cashier(18/20-something boy) was clearly not aware of what was going on and(by my best estimate) high out of his mind. He tried scanning the credit card nearly a dozen times with the magnetic strip facing up, not even in the machine. When I suggested he was scanning it upside down, he just silently looked at me, looked at the card, and kept swiping it upside down. The manager eventually had to come over and finish the transaction, but didn’t say anything to us. When we got our food, the fries were cold and filled up maybe half of the container. From now on, I’ll take the extra few minutes to go to the Olentangy/King location.

Mostly it’s a-ok for the food. When you are jonesing and want a burger and a Frosty then here you go! But at this place I suggest hitting up the drive through and not going in. First time we went we used the drive through and all was good with our food. The second time for some reason hubs went in to get our order instead. When he came out he said the staff in there was FAR from being«social». The woman who took his order looked at him like he was breaking into her private space answering his wanting to order with a «yeah, what you want?» Like I said, drive through? Ok. Pick up or eat in — I don’t think so. Will look for another Wendy’s when hungry on High St.
