Simpler items, such the Junior Bacon Cheeseburger, come flavorful and pretty fresh. *However,* I tried one of those special premium-type«limited edition» burgers(I think the one that came with mushrooms and ranch sauce or some special type of cheese), and it was terrible! It was crusty and tasted as if it were«redone» or «corrected» with something old and leftover. :-(Also, the staff – some sketchy young guy and another thirty-something-year-old male – had been smirking as they took almost *fifteen minutes* to prepare and hand me my order. Now, I won’t go so far as to accuse them of putting some unwanted bodily fluids in my burger – it was nothing like that – but as quiet as I was at the time, I was fuming inside over their off-putting attitude and was *especially* disappointed with my food. A few weeks later, I somehow decided to try this Wendy’s again. After all, my dad has said that he’d sometimes grab a quick meal here during his law school days in the ‘80s, and so for my family, it has somewhat of a sentimental value. This time, the guy behind the register was an older fellow with a bitter disposition, and he obviously wanted to be elsewhere. He was silent as he took my order. He proceeded to let out a *very* audible sigh when I suddenly remembered – and politely but swiftly requested – that I didn’t want ice in my lemonade just as he’d already scooped ice into my cup. Look; I know that employment in a fast food joint doesn’t enjoy the same level of respect as a desk job. Its stigmatization is so unfortunate, because I think all restaurant jobs – although many take place in more high-end settings than others – require a similar degree of tenacity and adhere to the same basic tenets expected of all respectable service workers. With that said, I have to reiterate the crucial fact that the image of one individual employee directly reflects the image of the larger company for which he or she works. His or her service may also affect psychologically the customer’s reception of any food that company serves, although my burger and lemonade turned out fine that time. So, I gave this Wendy’s yet *another* chance this past week, and this time a very nice guy – maybe an international student in his late twenties? – rang up my order for a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger and a cup for water.(Out of curiosity, he also asked me whether I’m Korean – a question that I tend to get a lot in Ohio. Again, I’M AMBIGUOUSLYFILIPINO.) I think the older guy from the first incident I mentioned in this review was also there again, same old smirk and all. This time, though, my meal again tasted just as I’d hoped it would. I assure you that I’ve had prior dining experiences at this Wendy’s that were quite pleasant, and so I hope it doesn’t fall short again! But yeah, I admit that instead I really ought to practice my own cooking at home or try out healthier alternatives to fast food, haaaa-ha. I should get on ‘t … soon enough.

Have had the new«Daves-way» burgers twice since they changed-have got a stomach ache both times. They are NOT hot-N-Juicy any more… dry and salty with to much mayonaise. Just have to go to 5 Guys from now on…

I had a terrible experience at the drive thru here which involved an employee whose only words at the window were«You gave me too much money» and«Here» as she stuck my drink on the sill, took my money, and handed me my order. The reason this gets two stars though, is that after I filed a complaint on the Wendy’s website, one of the managers personally contacted me to follow up on my complaint, and sent me a gift card, asking me to give them a second chance. And I will eventually… just not anytime too soon. It still makes me angry to think about what passed for customer service at that drive-thru.

I love Wendys best dollar menu around town. I spend so much time here between classes that it is kinda like my third home. 2 double stacks and a junior bacon cheese burger for 3*(.99). It’s delicious and cheap. I personally eat the junior bacon in the middle because eating two of the same sandwiches back to back can get boring to the pallet. Occasionally if I’m feeling good/profitable I’ll cough up the extra cash and get a Baconator. The apple smoked bacon will make you beg like a dog begging for bacon bits, it’s that good my friends… trust me :)
