Wendy’s

I’m really surprised that this Wendy’s location has no reviews yet.
I work nearby and so I go through this drive-​thru on a fairly regular basis.
This is the ONLY drive-​thru I’ve experienced where the employees don’t sound scripted, don’t rush everything they say, DO take the time to be polite, and DO respond to my, «thank you!» after my total is given to me. They actually sound like they enjoy their jobs and aren’t just there to begrudgingly earn a paycheck. From what I’ve experienced elsewhere, these things are pretty rare for a fast food joint.
When I get to the window to pay, I’m always greeted politely. The same goes for the food window. The employees are always smiley and seem legitimately happy and friendly. There’s only one dude in there who never smiles or anything. He looks like management of some sort. He isn’t unfriendly, just not as energetic about the job as everyone else seems to be.
I can’t speak to the dine-​in experience here. I’ve only tried to go in once and found that their dining room closes oddly early, like 9pm I believe.
