Waiting on a Friday night to eat here is crazy. No place to stand while waiting. Poor design !!! Bar is packed with people. Not the place to come on a weekend. Maybe if they have a seating area to wait it may just be tolerable. We were told 30 minutes. We decided to leave after 45 minutes of standing. Awful !!! To bad the pizza is great!

Ordered the small Phillycheesteak pizza for takeout. What I got was pretty disappointing. There was very little steak on anything. And to pay $ 18.50 for this even worse. I’ve been there a few times before and the food is not bad but way overpriced for what you get.

Good wings and onion rings. I was not impressed with the pizza. The service was very nice. We were a party of 12 and the kid who had our table in the back was good. Let’s face it, it is not a high end restaurant so the service has always been ok. I would come back but wouldn’t look forward to it. I could see how large families would like this place.

Love love love this place. Gets my salad there many times a week with well cooked chicken. And awesome salad may I add. I love how they open the door to welcome me in, the moment they see me. And the fact that everything is well done! Now THAT’s my kind of spot.

Love this place! My favorite pizza is the ricotta and meatball special. They also happen to have the best chicken breast wings I ever had, baked in a brick oven!

Great place to watch a game or go for a date. Lively, good food, fun bar. The wings are the best I’ve ever had and the salad is great. There is a nice variety of pizza, all good! The service is friendly and attentive.

Upsell everything is what they do. Good enough, pricey and not a slice joint. Try the wings. If you don’t, they will make you.

Stopped by for lunch while my phone was getting fixed. I got seated right away and the waitress offered me a free sample of their wings since it was my first time there. They were delicious! I got a lunch pizza with pepperoni which also tasted great and very fresh. The drinks are a good size too, usually id get two but one was deff enough for me. The service was great my waitress kept checking if i needed anything and making sure everything was good. The prices were also very decent. Defiantly would come back again if I didn’t live so far away :(

Usually stop by for the Wed. night happy hour which is a pretty good deal. Free food and 6 $ specialty martinis. Nice bartenders as well.

Love their pizzas especially the Paul and young with hot peppers. It has become a kind of a staple for me and my family. The close second if not at par are their wings. These are not your regular buffalo style wings mind you. these are cooked in a coal fired oven and are dry, no sauce Just AWESOME.

My boyfriend and I had a 16″ pepperoni and meatball pizza, tossed salad and 5 baked wings. The pizza was good but it was not as good as we anticipated. The pizza did not have enough flavor. It tasted better when we added salt. Also, there was not much cheese on it. The salad and house vinaigrette dressing was the best thing there. The wings were Okay. They were a little dry so we asked for Mariana sauce. The service was wonderful!

Pizza is OK… but the chicken wings are the best i have had in a very long time. They are seasoned with rosemary with onions over them and perfect size. Get them, you will luv them. That got it an extra star for me.

Went there today with a friend, we shared a house salad — that had chickpeas, mozzarella and onions and toast on the side. My friend ordered lady finger peppers that were a bit too hot this time around. We ended up sharing a small Marino eggplant pizza with added mozzarella which was really good. We sat at the bar, the bartender was really friendly and talkative. I got a blood orange pale ale on tap, not really my thing but it was ok. They have Italian comfort food tasting nights on Wednesdays and meatball buckets? Anyway… Pretty good stuff.

I have been to this location about 5 times now. I get the traditional pie and wings every time. Today was the best here so far. The pie I got today was pretty much the same as the other visits but it just had such a great flavor and the crust was perfect, some black spots and plenty of crisp. I have been eating pie at little Vincent’s most of my life and they are usually known for one of the best pies on Long Island but I can honestly say that this pie is the best I’ve ever had other than Lombardis in Little Italy in Manhattan. I was a pig and I ate 5 slices today. The wings are great every time, crispy burnt edges and awesome onions. I love this place. By the way, don’t judge this place based on other locations because I went to the one in Bohemia twice and there was no comparison.

We were out on the Island for a funeral and stumbled upon this place while looking for a very late lunch. The wings were good, but the pizza and meatballs were excellent. The pizza was so good that we actually took one to go to bring back to Jersey. This place and the staff was a nice respite from a long and sad day.

Just ordered take-out from Anthony’s after hearing about it and man was I disappointed. I ordered an Arugula Pizza and a small order of wings. I was shocked when my fiancé brought it home and once the pizza box was opened, it was just a plain pizza, and looking into the second bag, was the wings and a side of dry arugula. Like honestly, the Arugula pie was listed as a «specialty» with a salad on top… I get a burnt plain pie with literally a box of dry arugula. How is this a specialty? If i knew you would just put a bag of non dressed dry arugula on the side, i would’ve ordered a plain pie and dumped the arugula on it myself… like I had to anyway… and it would’ve saved me 8 bucks also(not that it’s a lot, but it felt like a rip off). The wings were OK at best, but even those were pretty salty. They tasted like almost stewed wings and were not very well done, even though they are said to be made in the coal oven. Bottom Line: Won’t be giving it a second chance. There are too many pizza places around that offer better.

Solid 3 for the food, and for the staff. Promptness makes me believe the ribs weren’t fresh, and they were pretty light on the amount of meat and too salty for my tastes, but the addition of the pickled peppers cut down on the fat and salt nicely. Meatballs are juicy although a little flavourless, but the«gravy» was good. The bigger problem however, was when the«accommodating» waitress charges an extra dollar for arugula in our little Italian salad. Basically, we asked for a bit of arugula in the italian(romaine based) salad… didn’t think it would be a problem as they have an «arugula salad pizza». Waitress assured us it wouldn’t be a problem, but then the receipt indicated that we were charged $ 1 extra for misc. food item. NOT cool and a bit dodgy. That dodgy business would generally drop this place down to a 2 star joint, but the cappuccino was pretty good(with a side of a sugar stick and biscotti), and the waitress was quite nice. So, they can keep the 3 star, but know that they are on my «to be watched for further sketchy business» list. Also, the pizza’s look pretty good and freshly cooked, and that IS their claim to fame, so I may have to try it.

For a highly hyped up place(got recommendations from locals to try it) I was slightly underwhelmed by their New York«well done» pizza. The pizza was served slightly burnt on the bottom and overall the flavor was just boring. Nothing really made it stand out to deem its name as true NY pizza. Which is sad since it’s a pizzeria. However, it is definitely a step up from the typical $ 1 slices you find every other block. We ordered the lunch size pizza(4 small slices for $ 8-great option for those who can’t finish a whole pie) and the broccoli rabe and sausage. I definitely enjoyed the broccoli rabe and sausage; the sausage was seasoned perfectly: not too salty but very flavorful. The foccacia that came with the dish complemented the broccoli pretty well. If anything, the individual dishes on the bottom right corner of the menu are the way to go, you won’t be disappointed! Our waitress was very helpful and friendly, but only when she was around. It was irksome how there were 4+ waitstaff around, but none responded when you try to wave them down. However, Anthony’s is not bad; it’s just not great. The ambience is perfect for taking a date or for a nice family dinner. I can see myself coming here in the future… if I ever find myself in Commack again lol.
