Many Things Change Over Time not always for the Better. The Third Place Concept has left this location. I have nothing positive to say so in Latin Anus Horriblis, or horrible location. See for yourself. I am treated by Management and certain Staff Members as A Troglodyte, and not as a valued Customer. The Mission has left this location. One thing to remember this is Starbucks by Howard, not a privately owned franchise. Btw GM, a Thank you is said in English Worldwide. Does this location understand the mission and Corporate Culture of this Highly thought of Corporation, and CEO suggest it’s time to reevaluate your attitude. No Corporation likes a liability, watch The new Movie about Steve Jobs, it might be a great education in Corporate Culture And what happened to him at Apple.

Mellisa is great, but not here enough. The rest of the staff could use some customer service 101 classes

Went through the drive thru and the woman working gave me the wrong drink. Unfortunately I didn’t know until I was on my way to work. I went back after work, told them what happened, gave them the incorrect drink back and was given what I ordered. It was free but technically it wasn’t bc I paid the first time around. I had to waste my time going back, they should’ve given me something else for free. Grrrr. At least(and why I’m giving them 4 stars) they actually know how to make a gingerbread tea latte at this location. I’ve had it at other locations and they don’t know how to make it. It’s on all Starbucks menus and advertised in the store so the least they can do is actually know how to make the drink.

This places personnel are loud mouthed children who have their friends hanging out. They are loud and obnoxious and the have no consideration for the clientele trying to have their coffee and quiet conversation.

Hearing all the hype of Starbucks would make one believe that they are the ultimate in customer service and quality. I visited the Commack Starbucks(just west of the Mayfair Shopping Center) on a weekday morning, around 10am, well after the morning rush hour. Although I was the only customer inside(two cars were at the drive-thru), nobody greeted me as I walked into the cavernous place, but, that’s okay, because I don’t like chatty or patronizing waitstaff. I had a coupon(you get one for signing-up on their website) for a free drink, so I ordered a hot chocolate. Everything was fine until I walked around to the«pick-up» station, where I saw the server finish filling my drink from the espresso-like machine. Then, to my horror, I saw him take a sopping wet rag, that had been lying beneath the long, white, straw-like, spout, and wipe the spout! How long had that rag been sitting there? What was on the rag before I was served? How much bacteria was allowed to accumulate on it that was added to the«cleaned» spout? He put the cup on the counter, and, without saying«Thank you» or «come again» or anything, he walked away. I was stunned, beyond belief, at this blatant disregard for customer safety! Normally, I would have called for the manager, but, I had a gut feeling that this was normal practice, and would lose the inevitable battle of words. I took the cup outside, and dumped it in the outside trash receptacle(located right at the entrance. .. ick). As soon as I got home, I contacted Starbucks via their website. Their surprisingly fast response was apologetic, and the representative swore that it was not standard procedure. She offered to send me free coupons to try again at any day and time I wanted(I have no intention of doing so, and will not even give the coupons to friends. .. maybe my enemies, though!) ;) I asked my friends on social media — — many of whom go to Starbucks on a regular basis — — as to whether the wet rag was an aberration of this shop or standard practice. Much to all our surprise, it appears to be standard practice, as evidenced by the shared photos showing wet rags sitting on, under, or near the machines. Though only two people out of eight respondents said they witnessed the staff actually using the rag, they were all certain that it was used, exactly as I had witnessed. You’d think that, for all the years Starbucks has existed, a large number of people would have been sick by now, which indicates that they(both the public and Starbucks) have been extraordinarily lucky. How can anyone think this is a good, hygenic, practice? And how has this escaped the notice of health inspectors? Unbelievable.

Coffee was delicious didn’t get a chance to make some in the morning so I stopped here on my way to work. It was a little busy but mange to get my drink and out on my way pretty fast. The staff was great really good at their job and maintained control of the chaos coming into the store. Best of luck to the employees they were excellent.

Great coffee though my experience was ruined by a very disrespectful barista named xia who insisted that a costumer who orders the same thing daily does not know how her drink should look or taste. Was very dissapointed and was treated very very poorly on two separate instances in front of business colleagues. Don’t plan on ever returning to this location again.

Worst parking lot but AMAZINGSERVICE. Really the friendliest staff in the area. They are also very passionate about coffee as well. Every Starbucks store is a little different even depending on the times you come in. This one is consistently friendly.

Visit Date: March 29, 2015 Came here with my gym buddy after we worked out before we went grocery shopping together. This Starbucks is pretty big, although it looks like it could be small. I was satisfied with my service, my drink and grilled cheese sandwich were the usual that I expect from Starbucks. My one complaint is that they said Frappucinos were going to be ½ price all day on Monday March 30 but the inbox message I got said it was only 2 to 5, so the baristas had the wrong information.

The not so great thing about this location is that the wireless internet connection is terrible, to the point of being unusable. My Caramel Flan Latte was good but a lot of folks are going to a Starbucks for the usually good wireless internet and this location does not deliver in this regard. I prefer the equally good location in Elwood far over this one.

This my «go to» Starbucks for my daily fix of caffeine. The staff here is always super friendly and always accommodating. They get my drink right every time. The drive thru can be both good and bad. Convenient on one hand, but creates a traffic nightmare when busy. Actually, it can be quite dangerous. No joke. Tip: when parking lot is jammed up simply park right next door at the beverage center and walk over. You will thank yourself for it! Also, this store does not carry a lot of Starbuck’s merchandise, so skip this one if you are looking for that special«mug».

This Starbucks is the closest to my house, surprised I’ve only checked in here once lol. This place does have a drive thru but you might want to come inside because the employees are quiet attractive(giggity). They have quiet a few tables where the drinks get made and two sofas near the bathroom, as well as a handicap table. My sister is a Starbucksaholic and this is the only location where she never has to tell them to remake her drink because they didn’t get her order right. I come here usually to work on non-work related stuff and sometimes I’ll just get a $ 2 green tea and stay an hour or so and no one bothers me. I’ve actually been to a few Starbucks locations that told me to allow other customers to sit since they spent more money smh!
