Blacklight Run

Worst 5k race I have ever been to. People in charge were annoying. Poor planning. Everything was a complete rip off. a joke for anyone who actually enjoys running

If you’ve never been to a Blacklight Run, you should really put it on your bucket list. All the runs benefit a charity or foundation and begin at sunset. You should dress in white for the full effect.
Before the run, there is a pre-​party that all should attend. There’s always a great DJ and they throw out glow packs (colored powder), glow sticks, and other goodies. They will do a planned powder throw where everyone gets their packs open and ready, then they count down and everyone throws their powder in the air.
After the pre-​party, you walk towards the start line. I suggest doing this before they tell people to go because they do waves of people and we once waited an hour to start the race. Throughout the race, there are glow stations where volunteers throw more powder on you and there are black lights where you can stand under to take selfies.
After the race, you get a glow pack and during the after party, there’s more dancing, music, and planned powder throws.
Of course, this event is family friendly so bring everyone!
