King Soopers

A bit hard to hype up a grocery store, but it’s a great place. Huge selection, though I’d wish they carry Seals Ginger Beer. Like others have mentioned they have an outdoor furniture section, clothing section, a jeweler lay store and a sushi bar! Lots to choose from and from the rumors I’ve heard the biggest King Soopers store in existence.

This is my neighborhood store and I really like it. They have (almost) everything you could need and the Starbucks is legit. I do wish that last night they hadn’t been out of rotisserie chicken, as that was the healthy option I wanted for dinner. I am trying again tonight.

Think twice before going here to the Pharmacy here! They kept my refill because the filled it and then it wasn’t picked up in time so they returned it and then I could not get it. The service is horrible. The Walgreens across the street pharmacist are friendlier and much more knowledgeable.

I love my local grocery store! They have everything that I need in one store. Great variety of organic items, cheeses you can only dream of, great meats and tons of frozen items. They also have a clothing section, I have not bought anything yet but the prices seem decent.

This king soopers is elite from the selection which includes sushi bar, cheese bar, and wing bar. the super helpful and friendly staff. the store is always clean and presented as a anchor of the reunion community

As far as grocery stores go, I’m happy that this is my «home» store! It’s clean, new, & usually well stocked. Like any other store, if you hit them on the wrong day (like Sunday evening), they may be a bit low, but that’s to be expected.
Variety is the spice of life, right? Well there’s no lack of variety here — lots of exotic cheeses on the cheese counter, plenty of meat and prepared side choices on the deli counter. The meat counter usually has a sample of one of their tasty seasoned meats and I haven’t been disappointed yet.
I could write paragraph after paragraph about all that’s available, but that would be a bit ridiculous. Suffice it to say that if you’re looking for something normal, something organic, gluten free, cheap, expensive, frozen, fresh, charcoal, a vacuum, a furnace filter, a crock pot, pet food, batteries, jewelry, or Steve (their friendliest employee) you will find it here! Think of it as a WalMart with class!

Nicest King Soopers I have ever been into. Management seems to really care about the store — really clean. Really nice pharmacy staff (most other locations are horrible.)

Do NOT use them for the Pharmacy prescriptions. We have been using Target and Walgreens and decided since King Soopers is so close to home we would start using the pharmacy. I Had a root canal and needed a basic prescription of 800mg of Advil and an antibiotic. Dropped off at 1pm on a Monday and person at front was on computer and took her 5 minutes to just take the script. Said it would be 1 hour. I came back through the drive thru at 4:30 and after waiting in line for 20 minutes they told me it wasn’t ready and I had to get back in line behind others. 20 additional minutes of waiting or 4 hours after drop off I finally got what I needed. Can’t wait till the Walgreens opens up across the street.

The only thing holding me back from giving the store five stars is there a pharmacy. Everything else in the store is amazing you can buy sofas to soap to sushi to Starbucks do you name it all they have it. It’s super clean and the staff is really great… Except for the pharmacy… It is a colossal disaster every single time we need to fill a prescription. Either they get it wrong or there is some other calamity of errors that prevents us from ever ever getting our prescription in a timely and accurate manner. I realize it’s tough to get good help but man they need to recruit from some other stores because it really brings down the whole experience here

Love having this big store so close to home now. I’m in here almost everyday, so convenient, and the selection & variety is great.

I’m a food snob. I love buying from local farmers and ranchers, and when that doesn’t work, I hit Whole Foods. But I find that King Soopers is a decent substitute right around the corner (when my nearest fave WF is 24 miles away). They have organic produce. Hell, they have everything here, including furniture, and a great pharmacy. The people are all SOOPER friendly, too. I am always greeted warmly and asked if I need help.
However, there are lots of solicitors that set up shop outside the doors. I don’t want to be rude, but I just don’t make eye contact.

This place is HUGE!!! Great selection from pharmacy to food to even furniture.
We started in the pharmacy on the far left and found what we needed and were greeted by two employees. We then walked through the furniture which I have never seen in a grocery store. Then we headed to grocery store section and picked up our food items.
We headed to Starbucks to get our coffee and the hubby went to check out. They clerk asked for our saver card and he didn’t have it on him. The clerk asked «Then do you want to forgo your savings?» Not may I look up your # or would you like a new card?
I get over there and asked how much everything was and it was higher than I expected. Carl said he didn’t offer to look up our card. I grab the receipt and the clerk looks at me. I look at him and ask «Can you scan the receipt then scan my card and give me the difference?»
He sighed out of frustration and said «Fine»
He scanned it and gave me money back.
Good store and variety of items, but the clerks need more training.

I’m updating my review because of the repeated horrible service provided by the Pharmacy. We truly love the grocery store and marketplace areas and shop there often. The grocery store deserves five stars.
However, the pharmacy deserves zero stars. The employees are uncaring, bored and need to change or be changed. My last experience was to wait in line with five other people for ten minutes while the person at the counter filled a Rx for someone. There were four other employees there but no one offered to help any of the other customers. They wouldn’t even look up.
This has been going on ever since I have lived here (over a year). Time to fix it.

Largest King Soopers around and the only grocery store in this area. They have it all. I especially appreciate their specialty cheese area (really huge selection), large selection of organic produce and the fresh sushi is really good. They sell a ton of it and always have 2 – 3 sushi chefs making it all day long. Don’t see what you want? Just ask and they will make if for you on the spot. Store is also always staffed well and they don’t let the lines back up… ever.

Yay! We waited soooo long for this! Nice to see we got the XL version. Staff continues to be decent here, store is well stocked, and this store has the best selection around.
Overall well done KS! Even the gas station is well done and HAS DIESEL. Take that 7 – 11 down the road!

This is my neighborhood King Soopers. It opened about 6 months ago, and at only 5 minutes away it’s been a godsend.
I wouldn’t normally give a grocery store 5 stars, but this one is sort of the best of both worlds. It has a great selection of not only organic meats, dairy and produce, but myriad organic and natural products throughout the store interspersed with all of their products.
Their fresh sushi is pretty fabulous for grocery store sushi, and having an in-​store Starbucks makes any trip to get groceries better.
Oh, and samples? I’ve seen them have actual full-​sized cupcakes and pieces of fruit (oranges, apples, tangerines etc) as samples instead of bits and pieces.
Well done, King Soopers.

Finally!
Out here in the Reunion/​Buffalo Run area, we have been fantasizing about a grocery store that involved less than a 25 minute commute since our neighborhood’s inception.
Praise Odin! It has arrived.
Since K-​Soops (as I’ve affectionately named it) opened, I find myself here almost daily. It’s so nice to stop and get fresh veggies and meat for dinner.
I am super-​stoked that they have even brought in products that aren’t normally found at most King Soopers: Kombucha, Grass-​fed butter and a decent selection of organic produce have always driven me to Whole Foods or Sunflower. Not anymore. I am so thrilled to have K-​Soops just a hop, skip and a jump away!

Finally, a brand-​new grocery store in Reunion! I made my first trip here earlier today and have to say I’m really impressed. The building is large, roomy, and even with the grand opening rush the aisles were clean and everything was neat and organized. The baggers at the checkout lines were a little slow and mixed up certain foods in certain bags, but I’ll cut them some slack on this visit since the place is new and very busy. Everyone’s got to start somewhere, right? It was still a great first impression.
I look forward to visiting more often and updating this review with a proper one when things at this location aren’t so crazy busy. For now I’m just happy to have a grocery store that doesn’t take 20 minutes to get to! (Looking at you, Prairie Center Target.)
