Great food, great beer list, cool workers. What more do you want it’s a bar and grille sheesh.

I would recommend this restaurant brunch, lunch, dinner and night out. I have tried many plates from menu. Everything I tried is delicious from waffles, turkey burger to Ahi Tuna entrée. They have live band music on weekend and have patio for summer and winter time.

Half off drinks Sundays with good DJ is always a good time. Been going there for over a year now and it’s always a fun place to be

The hostess here is rude and quotes incorrect table wait times and even when tables are available they seat who they want to seat. I will not be back here, this is UNACCEPTABLE.

Food is an excellent deal and is very good — love the wonton pizza! Everytime we go for food I end up getting at least a half pizza of this. Fun for drinks and live music as well, reasonable cover charge and music is also pretty good.

Good place Reasonable beer Average food I think they try to do too much with their menu. The bouncers at the door are rude and unfriendly and make for a disturbing introduction. The wait staff is good and attentive. Some of the bands are good. The band 50 amp fuse is highly overrated and over promoted– why they charge a cover charge for this band is beyond me. Their tv screens are average and too confusing– they also annoyingly do ads and self promotion on some of the screens Overall this is an average place with potential I can’t say that I do not go there– but what can I say, options are limited around here

As a frequent customer at Uptown Grille, I’m very familiar with their menu, service, and ambiance. If you are looking for a place with a wide variety of traditional American food, you have found the right place, considering that Uptown’s menu is multiple pages. Although their food is a hit or miss, their food is good when it is hit. Even though their food can be good at times, the service can definitely ruin the experience. I don’t usually write reviews on places that I regularly dine at; however, my recent experience was something to note about. I came to Uptown on a Saturday night, expecting it to be a busy night at the bar. So, I expected our food to take a little longer than usual; however, I didn’t expect our food to take 45 – 50 minutes to come out, considering that all 4 of us at my table ordered salads and a couple side dishes. The waitress apologized, so I let it pass. After getting our food, my sister realized that she forget to tell the waitress to take off the blue cheese and sauce that came with her fried mac and cheese. It was a honest mistake, and my sister was even embarrassed to ask her for a new one. When she did, the waitress was a little hesitant as she told my sister that it will be awhile because the kitchen is backed up(Ok – understandable). My sister, not wanting to cause more trouble for the waitress, told the waitress that she did not want the dish anymore. The waitress was fine with it, and she took the dish away. Shortly after the waitress took the dish, a manager walked up to our table. Expecting him to apologize for any inconveniences, instead, the manager said, «Next time you come here, let the waitress know what you want off your food.» My sister immediately apologized, but the manager still continued to go on and say«It is a waste of food.» The manager completely embarrassed us as many people near us were staring after he left. It is clear that the manager was more upset about losing money than wasting food since the mac and cheese was not even two cups. The manager needs to revaluate his role and the business he is running because he needs to realize that these situations come with running a restaurant. All in all, Uptown’s food has not exceeded my standards in awhile, and I advise they focus more on the quality of their food rather than the profit component of their business, as quality does lead to profit.

My favorite local restaurant! Uptown is ALWAYS packed with people! This is the place to be the weekend. DJ, dance floor, drinks, and music! Food is great! I would recommend getting the Louisiana pasta–(A little spicy.) the firecracker shrimp & wings.(Awesome) the Mediterranean nachos with chicken has always been one of my favorites, but for the past few times it hasn’t been tasting good. The firecracker chicken is great! If you don’t like blue cheese then ask for it to be removed from the pizza.(Makes it better)

My only complaint is the Cheddar soup is unsatifying but ive been to Wisconsin. Just not the right flavor. Boned wings are Rediculously HUGE, like the size of my fist, a minimum order of 10 will leave you taking them home. Nothing compared to the tiny Buffalo Wild Wings. Excellent pizzas which are also ½ price thursdays, i recommend the Firecracker pizza. Salads are good. Every day of the week there is always a special, something cheap or half off, especially liquor, they just about give alcohol away. Half off all Draft beer tuesdays, ½ price wine Wednesday ½ price martinis Fridays ½ price ALLALCOHOL Sundays 8pm-midnight.

I’ve been here for dinner, happy hour and breakfast and had different experiences at each one. This place is huge with 3 distinct areas. There is dining room that is dimly lit, lined with large booths around the perimeter and tables in the middle but yet it’s still very spacious overall. Then there’s the huge bar in the middle that has plenty of flat screen TV’s, a long bar-top and plenty of tables. Then there is the«fully enclosed and heated» patio that has 2TV’s but also tons of tables. The first thing that you notice about the menu is like the location itself it is huge. You’ll find a huge variety of drinks, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees and desserts to choose from. Experience #1: Dinner Firecracker Shrimp — This was a tasty appetizer. Similar to the type of creamy rock shrimp type dishes you often fine at Japanese restaurants except that the sauce wasn’t creamy but more have a glaze that had a nice spicy kick. Louisiana Creole Pasta — This pasta dish was delicious. A creamy Cajun sauce over linguine with shrimp, chicken, sausage and peppers. Best pasta dish I’ve had at a restaurant in a while. Lobster Ravioli — This dish was good but not great. There was a decent amount of lobster but the sauce just wasn’t that great. It wasn’t bad but nothing special or memorable about it. Cookies — They were out of the Peanut Butter Pie and a few other desserts so we ended up getting a chocolate chip and peanut butter cookie and a scoop of ice cream. It was pretty good. The service was pretty good this night so it was an overall good experience. Experience #2: Happy Hour First I should explain that they don’t really have a happy hour, they have daily specials for food and drinks. We went on a Wednesday where they had half off wine and wings. Wings — Were pretty standard wings. We got the boneless ones with a couple different flavors. Cheddar Ale Soup — Very tasty, no frills cheese soup. Great cheese and beer taste. Firecracker Chicken Pizza — This pizza had breaded firecracker chicken pieces, Irish cheddar, green onions, gorgonzola, and bacon(we ordered without bacon). This pizza was bursting with great flavor and textures. It had the type of heat that builds so after my second slice my mouth was burning a little but it was all very much enjoyable. Peanut Butter Pie — They had it this time. It was pretty good, more chocolatey than I expected but had pretty good peanut butter flavor. This night our service was pretty good except for 2 huge mistakes that significantly degraded our experience. First, we ordered the pizza with no bacon and it came with bacon so we had to wait for it to be made again(my girlfriend doesn’t eat pork). I don’t mean to be overly critical on a simple mistake made on a custom order but we really emphasized to our server that we did not want bacon on that pizza and it still came with it. The second mistake was when our bill came, we didn’t get the ½ off deal on the wings. We let the waitress know and she said she’d get it corrected but came back saying that the deal wasn’t on the boneless wings and that she couldn’t give us the discount. First off, the menu doesn’t specify what type of wings are half off, it just says«wings ½ off». Secondly, we didn’t even ask for boneless wings initially, we just asked for wings and the waitress asked us «bone-in or bone out?». So since she gave us the choice we picked boneless. Lastly, they don’t even list boneless wings anywhere on there menu! So for her to not honor the ½ off deal given all of that is very frustrating, but I didn’t want to ruin our night so I just paid it. But this really pissed me off. Needless to say, she did not receive a tip. Experience #3: Breakfast Salmon Hash — This was tasty. Big chunks of salmon and diced potatoes and peppers. The salmon was cooked through making the hash itself a bit dry at times but the yolk for the over easy eggs took care of that. Overall I enjoyed this dish. Hawiaan Sunrise Omelette — This was pretty good but not great. Had carmelized pineapple, swiss cheese and Canadian bacon. Pancakes — Very very simple and average pancakes. We ate them all but they were nothing special. Our service this at breakfast was great. The waitress was very attentive and our food came out very quickly. Overall, I think that 3.5 stars is about right. They do some things really well, some things just ok and they make their fair share of mistakes.

This place has it all. A very large bar area with lots of TVs, a nice traditional dining area, a café area, and a massive patio that is heated in the winter! The beers on tap is extensive. If you’re a beer lover, you’ll find something unique and fun to try. The wine menu also doesn’t disappoint! Tons of wine, you can even pick up a bottle to go in the café area. Best of all, the food is fantastic. If you’re up early enough, you must try their breakfast. A fresh twist on traditional breakfast items. Everything is so good and made to order, I wish I could order it all day! On top of their very large breakfast menu, the lunch/dinner menu is huge! Everything from salads, panini, wraps, burgers, steak, fish, pasta and sooooo much more. Usually that would scare me away, but everything is perfectly executed every time. I have never left here disappointed! A MUST try, I promise you’ll be back over and over!

I can see why this place would only have 3 stars; I can see why this place would have 1, definitely not 5. I’ve been here twice, once for lunch on a Saturday and once for dinner on a Wednesday evening — both times received average food at best with average service. I got a sandwich both times — the more recent time was a classic club. A diner classic, something that even Ram’s Horn can pull off. But the kitchen here managed to deliver a half attempt at a club served on partially toasted and untoasted bread. When our waitress checked in after our food was delivered, I politely brought up the fact that the sandwich didn’t appear toasted to which she asked«is it supposed to be?» and I replied that normally a club is and that it’s partially toasted so I think that they were trying to make one the right way. She offered to have it remade but we had already waited about 30 min. for our meal so I wasn’t going to extend our stay any longer nor waste food. So it ended at, she’d tell the kitchen to «turn up the toaster»… ehhh. They have an expansive menu which doesn’t seem to work in their favor. It’s nice to have a choice but when it’s from 3 different types of club sandwiches; 10 different hamburgers; 10 different pasta entrees, and so on… you know that the food you’re getting isn’t that fresh. If they reduced the menu by about 25% they could probably execute much better service and food. They have nightly drink specials as someone posted a picture of previously. This draws in a regular drinking crowd so I can only guess that you’d rate the food higher here after having a couple alcoholic drinks. Service: Our waitress did her job but came off as insincere about the whole process. The hostesses(3 at the kiosk) flat out ignored my mom when she went up looking for me after I mentioned that someone would be coming in to meet me shortly after I was seated. She even acknowledged me and said OK! I’ll send her right back. They also didn’t bother saying bye, thanks for coming or anything as we exited(and they weren’t doing anything but staring off into the corridor.)

I have stopped going to this place lately. It’s always too packed and too loud. it’s really become a clubbing dance sort of venue. Its average age of their clientele seems to have lowered drastically, more so on Sunday. too. More binge drinking & shots of alcohol is this place’s new motto. Is anyone behind the bar who is TIPS safety certified? Most servers work for tips and sincerely don’t seem to care how wasted the person is who they are giving drinks to. It’s a shame I have given up on this place because they always had good food, drinks and service. Their dinning area is terribly small, and their bar area is Incredibly huge. They do have a valet service which helps.

I live right next to this bar and drive past it every single day so I can see when it is busy, which is always. I don’t think I have ever seen this place dead on any day ever. This place pulls in such a huge crowd they have expanded their parking lot twice and even occupy the parking lot across the street(behind BOA). I have been here a few times, usually for dinner but I hear the breakfast is really good to. I have eaten in the dinning room, the bar, and the patio. The best place to eat here is definitely the patio. The service is great, the food is on a whole other level, and the ambience is delightful as well. After 10pm the bar changes. The dinning room closes, it becomes 21+, and there is a $ 10 cover charge at the door. This place becomes a high school reunion for anyone that has gradated in the past six years. There are people that are dressed for a club and others dressed for a bar. There is either a live band or a DJ accompanied by a dance floor which also happens to have tables and people eating on. Like I said this place gets insanely busy which makes ordering or even getting a table near impossible. People usually argue over tables and chairs since there aren’t nearly enough to go around. If you reserve a table in the bar(highly unlikely unless you call five years in advanced) and you are only three minutes late, they will give your table away. The prices are appropriate, the drinks are great, and the music is enjoyable to listen to. It usually dies out around 1:15am-1:30am.

Went here to see one of my favorite bands — 50 Amp Fuse on a Friday night. The place was PACKED. However, we happily found a table for the 4 of us with only a couple minutes wait. Apparently they turned what used to be a covered smoking area into seating by throwing up some walls. We were sitting right next to the bar area. would have been nice if the sound was a bit better… but I was on the dance floor most of the time anyway! I thought the food was pretty decent. If you are a nacho lover like I am… get the nachos. Cheesy, yummy goodness. Make sure to split them with someone or order as an appetizer. Others at the table had a burger, the ribs, and a sandwich. The food alone might not make it 4 starts but the atmosphere in the bar area and the fact that 50 Amp Fuse rocks is the total package and makes it fan worthy!

We’ve been trying to come here at least 4 times the last year or so but they always are so busy but we finally were able to get in here recently. We started with the Filet Steak Bites as an appetizer. It was quite good and cooked just as ordered. Based on all the good reviews about their sea scallops wrapped in bacon I ordered it. Wow, it was the best scallops I’ve had in years! It was definitely worth coming for the scallops alone. I ended the dinner with raspberry cheesecake. It was good but not as good as I had hoped. The service was really good throughout the meal. We’ll definitely be back!

I’m a fan of the Uptown Grille for Brunch. I’ve heard nothing but good things from friends regarding lunch/dinner and evening life. I however have only come for Brunch/Breakfast twice, which is served 6-noon M-F and 8 – 1 Sat-Sun. Bloody Mary: Both visits I had a spicy bloody mary to start with. That included complimentary blue cheese stuffed olives on request. Celery stalk and pickle spear included by default. Very good and priced well at $ 5. Biscuits and Sausage Gravy With Two Eggs: Amazing sausage gravy and scratch made biscuits. Biscuit toasted on the inside to add texture. Two eggs any style I chose soft poached in a cup, they were perfect. Side of Sausage Patties/links: The patties had a nice char on the outside but lacked a real sausage flavor. Maybe they were just under seasoned from a salt perspective, not sure what it was but nothing special. Get the links, they had great flavor and an amazing snap to the outside. Applewood Smoked bacon: If you like bacon, just get it. You can taste the smokey apple, not sweet at all though. Corned Beef Hash: I have a weakness for great hash. This was good hash, and I would order again however the potatoes really needed a crisp to them. They didn’t see enough flat top time. I wasn’t sure about the red and green peppers that come in it but they were fine chopped and cooked perfectly. I ordered a side of sausage gravy and poured it over half my hash, omg… Side note you can sub in a biscuit vs. toast for $ 0.50.
