El Super

This place is a mad
but f##k the wait… waited 20 minutes in the meat dept…

This is the worst market I have ever been too. The only reasons I’ve came here is because it’s really close to my house and sometimes I need to stop by for something fast. They never have enough cash registers open! There can be lines of people and they keep it to about 4 registers open. To top it off the staff and the registers have no sense of urgency !! They will be so slow! They actually stop to talk to each other or the security guards. They don’t greet you or notice your even there. At least a bit sense of urgency would make customers feel like their trying to get u through the line. I really don’t recommend this place for anything

I’ve been standing in line for 15 minutes. All the lines are long, only four lanes open. Ridiculous!

Worst market ever… bought muffins that tasted old, found that the date sticker was changed, is this even legal??? Way to keep is classy El Super…

Slooooow service and the place is always packed and dirty and the fruit does not look as fresh. Got a letter in the mail a month ago that the baby formula was being sold expired and the fruit wasn’t being kept in a clean setting. Gross. Spend the extra dollar and go to Ralph’s or Von’s.

Honestly, cheap. And vegies and fruits are 2^nd hand. Products are ironically the same or CHEAPER than mexico. The lines are a mile and a half long. The people are rude, and they drive the way they smell. So, you might get shopping cart to the ankle/​shin/​ass. If you are low tempered as I am. Stay out of here. It is decent grocery shopping. And the bakery make it worth while. Been coming here for years. Still cant get over the amount of rude people I encounter. (They think I don’t speak español, but i do.)

This market is a nightmare. The staff does the best they can with obnoxious and rude customers. They never have enough shopping carts for the customers. My parents are in there late 60s and are always looking around the parking lot to find one. The lines are unbelievable for the meat, dairy and to pay. They don’t have much of a variety when it comes to food from other ethnicities… the nerve that got to me today was that there was no air conditioning on. It’s still summer and hot. I bet if this store was in any other neighborhood that wasn’t Latino it would not be like that. The produce was also awful.

I hardly come to this store if rather drive a but and go to ralphs or target because no matter what time you come it’s always full of people like if they’re giving stuff away. Avoid even more on Wednesday and 1^st of month

Zero stars! I have given this market several opportunities and I end up hating myself each time for trying. Fruit and vegetable selection is great, bakery is okay and meat department is like a used car auction «out of control». Sorry, El Super I really tried, but you’re not my cup of tea.

I go here every once in a while when I need something cheap. The prices are super reasonable for certain things, especially if you go on Wednesdays, that is the day they ahve specials. The only thing I don’t like is that the lines are eternal. I feel like this store is always busy, no matter what time of day you visit.
Parking is ample though, just be mindful you are going to wait in line so don’t go here if you need a quickie.

Let me just say that El Super is a great place to find good quality food, and of course at good prices, but the customer service here sucks !!! Just went a little while ago and the only reason i come here is because is convenient to me, but next time i will make sure i go to another location or another super market that is for sure. I had 11 items and the cashier on the express lane tells me, BTW her name is Ana J. Excuse excuse me this is a 10 item only lane, but she said it with a bit of attitude, I said ok looking at her then at the items i had on the conveyor belt so as soon as it was my turn i took out like 3 items and said there u go Now you have less than 10 items. Paid got my receipt bagged my items and left. So not unless i need to go there i will go.

I can’t believe no one has Unilocaled this! El Super is the spot for Mexican food, whether you want to eat it or cook it. This particular El Super has a large bakery, an amazing selection of fresh meat cuts, all kinds of spices and sauces, and even a spot up front where you can buy aguas frescas. Oh, and did I mention you can buy a piñata? Go to the produce section, and then look up! The prices are cheap too! :)
