B E S T. S A L A D. P L A C E. They have a great selection of salad combinations, their salads are delicious, fresh and crisp. I’ve tried the beauty salad and garden salad & they’re delicious. Price is fair for the good quality of food.

0 stars Unilocal would let me. Beware, they don’t wash their produce well. I got my spinach salad and it looked delicious. Took a bite and spit it out cause something tasted disgusting. It was a beetle. Almost threw up. I took it back to them and the lady told me that it’s organic so there could be bugs in it. You still have to wash the produce! Ugh. So gross

These salad places are not banging. Salad just sits there and you pick and choose what you want to customize. Not feeling it. I got the chinese chicken salad and man it was not tight. Too heavily drenched in dressing and not nearly enough chicken or even them croutons. Just wasn’t good.

I ordered the chicken Chinese salad and was disappointed. It has no flavor whatsoever. Thought the sesame dressing would taste better. Don’t think I’ll be eating there again.

Today I got the #16 salad– shrimp and advocado. Sounds good huh? Well, I’ve had better salads at low budget burger stands! The salad came in a large plastic container– lettuce, celery, a few pieces of tomato, dried out slices of carrot, sliced advocado and tiny cheap pre-cooked(previously frozen) shrimp. I opted for the cilantro lime dressing which was pretty good and it came with pita bread. When I first started eating I thought it was pretty good. But my taste buds became bored. What about some cheese, croutons, onion, bell pepper and most importantly REALSHRIMP! I thought it would come with large fresh shrimp(btw, a coworker picked up my lunch so I didn’t see it being made). So I don’t think I’ll be coming back here. I was really disappointed and left really hungry.

Been dying to find a reliable healthy food spot for lunch for a while now and finally found it. Great salad choices, extremely friendly staff and service. Been coming here almost everyday for a few weeks now, thank you! Almost forgot to mention, their Spicy Lime Cilantro dressing is AWESOME

Oh man this is totally a vegan joint. I just paid 8 bucks for a ham and cheese sandwich and the meat was rotten. Everyone must be just eating the pasta. That ham had a stank on it and slime. I took one bite and had to spit it out. They were really nice and offered to make me another but I said NOTHANKYOU. Pasta salad on the side was good. I ate that first. Like I said this place is good if you don’t eat the meat. People were really nice too.

This is the best place to grab a salad. There portions are formidable and the price is excellent. Their lettuce is always so fresh and crispy and the ladies are so friendly. My favorite salad place in the county.

There are really not too many healthy places to eat in the surrounding area. So it was great to see a salad place not too far from my work. Each salad is about $ 8 but the portions are very large. The lines can get long but they are very quick. I usually get the caesar salad with an extra side of dressing. The ranch dressing is not that great but the caesar dressing and the raspberry vinegar are very good.

I don’t usually have high hopes for a food court salad restaurant in the middle of Vernon but the Garden Spot is decent enough. Huge salads(mostly consisting of lettuce) for about $ 8 a pop. They have a lot of choices as to the ingredients and the dressing but you won’t get anything too fancy here. Nothing you can’t make at home but for those lazy days this place will do.

I love the large variety of fresh salads The Garden Spot has to offer. I have tries several varities already and really liked them all. The salds are HUGE and are easily enough to be eaten as an entrée(and maybe even shared).

So far I have tried several, from the sandwiches to the salads, and have yet to be disappointed. I would recommend the salads over the wraps or sandwiches if you’re hungry because they seem to be able to pack on more food on the plate.

HUGE salads! I mean 2 people could easily split a salad. My fave is Protein salad with chicken. They are a little pricey but then again the are huge. There is always a long line of people waiting to order but staff is quick to serve. You also get wheat pita bread. OH! They also have baked potatoes and other goodies. Great eats!

I just found this place today. It’s close to work and offers amazing options. I love that you can add anything you want to the salad or wraps. The stuff is really friendly and very helpful to explain what my options were… I order 3 salads and everyone LOVED them. I found a new lunch spot!

I come here for lunch sometimes, it does get really super packed around lunchtime as it is kind of in an industrial area. The salads are good and can also be made to go… I tried one of their brownies the other day and it wasn’t bad either.

I give this place 3 stars because it helps with my diet. There is an asian lady there that sometimes gets my order wrong and charges for EVERYTHING including an extra side of the watered down salad dressing(yes…watered down. The dressing used to stick to the lettuce, but now drains right to the bottom. I can tell it is getting more and more watery; I am on to you!). And there is this weird particle dusting all over all of my salad and lettuce. When this place used to be at the Citadel, it never had any of that and I always order the same thing. I wish this place was still at the Citadel… so sad I now have to deal with this one. And please, please, please check your lettuce before serving. I understand that you probably mix the old with the new — but after many instances of getting that fermented, old, slimy piece of lettuce near my mouth I spent a huge amount of time picking through every salad and eventually I couldn’t stand the need to and quit going. Lastly, parking is a hassle. the lot fills up during lunch hours so it is hard to find a spot during that time.

The reason I give this place 4 stars is because it’s located right down the street from my work, it’s one of the only healthy meals I can find in this area and I really like the service! I always get the spinach salad, but like, Suzy G. says sans chicken, to be honest all their meat is kinda gross so I rely on this place for a solid vegetarian lunch! Arrive before 12 to avoid the mid-day stampede for lunch!

This place is located inside the Commerce Food Plaza, better known as the«Food Court». They make fresh«gourmet» salads, baked potatoes and wraps. You can choose from about 28 different gourmet salads from their menu or you can have one made to order with all the toppings and fixings you like. All salads come with pita bread and your choice of dressing. I think the prices are decent and the service was good. I ordered the pineapple chicken salad. Pretty tasty. My only complaint is the chicken. I personally don’t like frozen chicken strips in my salad. Next time I’ll order sans the chicken.
