I love this place they make the best sandwiches in Los Angeles hands down. I’m a basic person so I usually get a turkey sandwich but their turkey sandwich is far from basic. The bread is fresh, the vegetables are fresh and the meat and cheese is just amazing. This is a place I can eat at everyday. They are also very health conscious which makes even better when trying to eat healthy. The location is very clean and there service and staff are great at what they do. I recommend this place to everyone.

One of the better sandwhich joints in the area! Always order for the office and they never get the order wrong. Will continue eating here and supporting the staff. Can’t go wrong with board heads meat!

Very good Pastrami sandwich that I had here but not the best I’ve ever had. They have a great selection of sandwiches so I will most likely eat here again. Thanks!

My girlfriend treated me to Slicers for my bday lunch. I found them on Unilocal!and chose to give it a try despite the reviews about the long wait… they were very TRUE!!! I ordered the Chicken Chipotle Sandwich & a regular sized unsweetened ice tea & my gf ordered a regular pastrami. We waited about 20 mins… The sandwiches were fine, not big or mega packed… so we couldn’t understand why there was such a long wait for 2 sandwiches, and we arrived just before the lunch rush… Needless to say, we won’t return… it wasn’t anything worth retruning… it was just ok…

I can say I had a good sandwich. I ordered the New York Rachel: rye bread, pastrami, Coleslaw, and Italian dressing which I believe is fancy for 1000 island. Everything was great, the sweetness of the dressing combined with the tart of the coleslaw with the saltiness of the pastrami. My only dislike was the bread, it became soggy, different choice of bread will make it better. The minus 1 star is for the watery flavorless macaroni salad, they need to whip up a new recipe for that. Customer service was great, the cashier took her time to explain the menu although she had a long line. But again I don’t rate on customer service. Strictly food.

We ordered sandwiches for our in office crew today and wow did this place deliver! They not only got all 33 sandwiches right, they bagged them individually, labeled them with everyone’s name & delivered to our offices in time for lunch. Everyone was thrilled with their choice. The sandwiches were all huge, delicious and included a side of really good Cole Slaw. Slicers NY Deli will now be our go to place anytime we need to bring in sandwiches for either our employees or customer meetings.

You know when you find a sandwich shop that you could eat at everyday for the rest of your life? Well, this isn’t that kind of sandwich shop. But it’s really good! I got my «litmus test special» which is a turkey and cheese on a roll with lettuce tomato onion and mayo and mustard. The roll is perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The meat was piled high(not TOO high) and the sandwich-maker did an excellent job of reigning everything in with a tight wrapping job and a nice slice down the center. Each sandwich comes with a side of slaw or potato salad. I opted for potato salad — it wasn’t the best but it definitely wasn’t the worst! All I’m really trying to say is, if you’re in Commerce(I was there for some cheap industrial carpet remnant), and you’re hungry, pull into this bizarre stand-alone food court thing and march yourself right over to Slicers. You will be happy you did, and so will your stomach. I mean c’mon — it’s BOARSHEAD!

I wanted a GREAT sandwhich for lunch today and subway isnt on the GREATNESS level. Came to Slicers New York Deli for a sandwhich and blows it out of the water. Im having a Honey Glazed Turkey on Baguette with Avocado Yellow Mustard and Lettuce. Words dont justify how GREAT this sandwhich is. If i lived in City of Commerce i would be here morning noon and night. Try a new sandwhich place and go to Slicers you wont be let down. Thats a promise!

Best seasonal roasted veggie wrap ever! So healthy and delicious :) warm wrap, fresh veggies, and the cookie that comes with a check in is homemade! Cole slaw on the side goes really well with the wrap :) Friendly staff too! Say hi to Carmen for me when you get here!!!

First thought: okay this is cool… wait… i get a free cookie?! Recommendation: Triple Threat, easy on the oil. So i’ve never been to the food court where this deli is located, so theres a variety of places to choose from, but something about this place caught my eye. I walked up and was greeted veey politely and was asked what i would like. I informed the cashier that it waa my first time ans ahe handed me over to whom i believe is the manager or owner? Im not surehe didnt introduce himself, but he broke down the menu from hot and cold sandwhiches and which they were best know for. The Triple Threat, which is Turkey, Ham, and Salami with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and oil, he calimed was their most famous so i tried it out. Also you get to choose from macaroni and potato salad, or seasonal fruit for an extra $.50. Finally munched into my food and it was pretty good. Definitely no wow factor, but honestly just a good deli sandwhich. They werent stingy with the meat, so if you’re looking to fill up, this place will help out during a lunch break. The man was also friendly enough to give me a free cookie since it was my first time there! But once i checkes in i saw it was part of their Unilocal page, i appreciated it that he honores that without me having to check in. Great service.

Talk about some amazing sandwiches! I’m a huge fan of the Roast beef on baguette(HOT) sooo good. Their Tuna is delicious! I don’t think you can really go wrong with any of the sandwiches you order. Great customer service, Ryan always there to make sure you’re happy! Biggest Tip i can give … Make sure to call in your orders, they tend to get very busy!

Was craving a good sandwich during lunch and ordered a pastrami sandwich which if you are serving boars head meat should have been delicious. The sandwich was okay and pretty greasy. I’m not sure how these sandwiches are made but I think they’re supposed to have steamed meat… I think… Either way the sandwich was good not great but did satisfy my need for a deli sandwich . However, the problem was the efficiency of making the food. I waited for about 25 minutes before I even got my sandwich and watched many people who like myself, have jobs and need to get back to them, get their food and finish eating between the time I ordered and the time I finally received my sandwich. I was given a free cookie for waiting which would have been good to eat while waiting but was only given to me after the third time I asked how much longer until the food comes out. It looked like others were upset about the wait as well. Refuse to return and I always try to convince my coworkers not to go. I eat at the food court 1 – 2 times per week.

A pastrami sandwich should not take 20 – 25 minutes to make. That is what happened to me as I wasted 30 of my 45 minute lunch break waiting, watching other people after me get their orders before me. The owner likes to sit around and do nothing but observe his incompetent staff. When I finally got the food, it was gross. SUPER greasy, like it was totally rushed through. Couldn’t even finish it. They gave me a cookie for waiting… it ended up in the trash with the other half of the sandwich. Won’t be eating here EVER again.

Hubba hubba! Kind of a trek from work but so worth the drive! Got the triple threat with lettuce wrap versus bread and it’s one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. It also comes with side cole slaw. I’m a first timer and the cashier gave me a free cookie!

Highly customizable sandwich shop that will make essentially, whatever you want. Say, you can add extra roast beef in your turkey sandwich for extra $ 1.75. I’ve had a few different sandwiches here and they’ve all been pretty good. I’ve had the turkey as well as the turkey with roast beef added in. You pick your toppings as well as condiments. So really the sandwich is customizable to your exact taste. Though they do offer sandwiches that do not need to be customized, I had the chitpotle chicken which wasn’t bad. I wish it was a little more flavorful or had more of a kick to it, but I tent to have a heavier palette so I can understand that. Sandwiches come with coleslaw, the coleslaw is so good! I’m usually not a big fan of coleslaw because most places make it too sweet, but it’s great here. Very refreshing with a sandwich.

When I am down this way I always stop by here for the black and white. It’s a turkey club and it’s by far the best sandwhich I have ever had. This is saying a lot since I am always looking for a good sandwhich. Their consistency is top notch you know what you are getting every time. I have tried their meatball which was also great but the black and white is just too good. Their slaw is also pretty good and I don’t even like slaw in general.

Only 3 because they almost killed me. Asked for no tomato should have told them I was allergic turns out the chipotle sandwich never entered my mouth. The guy even wrote it down. CAme down on a Thursday fish O licious would have been a better idea. Should give them a really bad review but I now bought subway instead forced me to enjoy subway. Great.
