Walmart Supercenter

I am not speaking about this Wal-​Mart, but all Wal-​Marts. They take away jobs from hardworking people by outsourcing. Although retailers benefit from this a lot more manufacturing companies do not. This is the only reason Wal Mart has low prices. If you work for an American manufacturing company and think that you’re saving some money by going here, think again. You might just lose your job one day…

Had wallets printed and the photo quality was much below average. The worker (Jonah) in the photo department was not very helpful and seemed more annoyed with his job then willing to help. Will not be returning to the photo department at this location. Extremely disappointed.

Not sure why this Walmart has such bad reviews. I used to frequent it when I lived in the Walled Lake area and before the Novi Walmart opened … now I usually go to that one, just because I’m usually in that area, when I’m in that area (if that makes sense … I live in Troy now).
We went here the other day and I had to buy some ingredients for a recipe, for a blog post. Most of the ingredients were easy to find, and the store was pretty quiet. I didn’t ask for employee help but I think my mom did at some point, when she couldn’t find something, and it was fine.
This Walmart is usually pretty clean too and it has a large parking lot. Located near M-​5.

Went there slightly before 1:00 to get tires. Told me I would have to come back after 3:00 to get in a first come first serve line to get my tires. Apparently their 2 – 3 lunch hour is more important than customer service.
Nice store, just don’t go to their automotive section

Why did I come back and try again?
I recently went to another Wal-​mart for the yonanas frozen dessert machine and was surprised to find it on clearance for $ 10 more than the advertised price. So i flagged down an employee. That time the floor person walked off and never returned. I gave up and went home empty handed.
So here I was a few days later at a different Wal-​mart and surprise surprise, same scenario. This time I only drove all the way out to Commerce because the website said it was available to pick up today.
So I flag down the floor person and she immediately gets all defensive and says «You know we got nothing to do with the website!» So I said «well, except the part about both of you being Wal-​Mart, so that’s not quite accurate». I then said «it’s available online, do I have to order it from my phone and agree to pick it up, here, right now?» She says «you can try merchandise pickup» or something like that. At this point she begins to walk away, so I call out «where’s that?» And she says «back by electronics» and walks off…
So back there I go and I find the counter tucked in the back hallway by the restrooms but nobody was there, checked electronics department and ditto. So I wait, then I see a button on the debit card swiper that reads push here for service. So I pushed the button and continued to wait.
Meanwhile I’m hanging out reading Unilocal reviews on my phone etc… I was determined not to give up this time. A woman with a Wal-​mart shirt comes out of the ladies room and I ask her if she could please help me or send someone to help me and she looks back over her shoulder and says «yep» and continued to walk off…
5 minutes later a differn’t male employee comes out of the back room with his hands full and notices me standing there and asks if I’m here to pick sonething up.
I explained the situation and he says «any employee or cashier can help you with that».
Hmm, so I said «can i just pay you? The other lady gave me huge attitude» he says «yeah, lets head over to electronics and I’ll ring you up.»
I didn’t bother to ask why my Yonanas was on clearance or if that meant I couldn’t return it or have a warranty etc… I was just happy to be done with the stupid Yonanas buying fiasco to be honest. I got it for the advertised price and that’s ok with me.
As I was leaving I walked right past the first employee that had the bad attitude and waved my recipt in her general dirrection and winked at her.
Lol.
Never again. Wal-​mart you suck.
My patience was at an end, I was never rude or disrespectful to any of these people but I got the feeling that none of them gave a crap about anything at Wal-​mart. I wonder why?

Its a walmart. I ran in and ran out fast. It always funny to watch the folks who are shopping. Good veggies
