My son attended this school for a few months before we checked him out. Ms Gwen is understaffed and is verbally abusive. She wouldn’t put my son in the appropriate class because he knew another child in that class(who referred us). If she wasn’t the owner I wouldn’t mind my Child attending. She will ultimately be the downfall of this school. She expelled another student(who was the smartest in her whole school her words not mine) because she didn’t know how to be still and her mother who is a single parent couldn’t take off work and sit in class with her. All in all there are better schools for your children. Avoid at all costs.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. To start when my husband and I got there for our tour, the front desk secretary slid us an intake form and told us to fill it out. There was no hello, no smile, nothing! Who does that as a receptionist?! Once Gwen, the director came out, she was just as unfriendly as the secretary. She didn’t bother to ask our names or engage in any conversation until we sat in the conference room. That shows the lack of warmth the school’s employees have. When we went on our«tour» which comprised of 1 classroom, the walls were bare. There was no student work, nothing! When we walked into the class Gwen asked a kid if he was going to start crying– and he did. She did nothing to console him, nor did the teacher in the class. When we asked to see the other classes she made it seem as if we were inconveniencing her. Overall, the school and the owner seemed cold, out of touch, unwelcoming and unapproachable. I am not sure what families she services(Compton or Carson), but our child won’t be in her callous hands. Lastly, the curriculum is bare bones and filled with kids watching the My Baby Can Read DVDs and some potty training DVDs. I actually want teachers to teach my kid, not plop them in front of a TV all day. Don’t waste your time with this school, on to the next!

You can find a better school with a better curriculum for a better price. I did. The director will have you believe her school is the best you can find. Not true! While the school itself is nice, the academics are good(not great). Where my daughter is now, she is learning print and cursive, math, reading, and Spanish. And for what I was paying to sent one child to Juniorversity, for $ 100 more, I can send both of my children. Just keep looking. You don’t want to deal with this lady. She has no respect for the parents, and she is money hungry.
