I just ate here today with My Girlfriend. I had their Bacon Burger, and it was honestly pretty damn good, I can’t lie. On top of that, the food was ready in no time. Usually, having th your food prepared quickly means that you’re at a cheap fast food place, but this isn’t the case for Piggy’s. The food was pretty great. The only thing I have to complain about is the fact that their Horchata drink seemed to be tasteless, and warm too. But besides that, I would definitely reccomend this place, especially to those who want to grab dinner after shopping at the Del Amo swapmeet.

I work in a facility nearby. This is my go-​to place for breakfast burrito and menudo. I custom order my burrito (bacon, sausage, egg, guac, cheese, spicy salsa, no hashbrown), and it always turns out AWESOME without fail. Or maybe the lady in the counter recognizes me and already knows exactly what I want. These guys serve good hearty menudo EVERYDAY! A big plus for me. Also, they do serve beer. My friends complain that they’ve seen ants on their food, but I have never once seen bugs on my food. The restaurant is your typical old-​fashioned diner, and you see the same diners most of the time, including myself.

I come here all the time for lunch. They give you a lot of food for your money and the service has always been good. I really like their soups – especially the chicken soup. The have a huge menu with a variety to choose from. Sometimes, I stop by on my way home from work to pick up a family pack/​burger special. It’s a pretty good deal (comes with four burgers, four fries, and four drinks) and my kids really like it.

Opted for the drive-​thru, gave their ¼lb Burger Combo (came with fries and drink) a try. Not bad at all. The fries were pretty well-​executed, and the burger was not bad either. I could really taste the char-​broiled flavor in the meat. Can’t say I was a big fan of the shredded lettuce (I prefer large leaves), but I otherwise have no complaints.
Plenty of parking is available in the lot, should you prefer to dine-​in. The ladies working here seem nice, and the menu provides you with a great deal of affordably-​priced dining options. I’d definitely come back here.

All the food is great and if they don’t cook your order right they will redo for you. The tables need to be cleaned better but the food makes up for it. They cater too. A wide range of food to choose from.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! I ordered the enchiladas and I asked if they were spicy because I was going to share with my 2 year old. She told me no get my food and it was so spicy I couldn’t finish it. I ate half and ended with a horrible stomach ache. and there was flies everywhere. Never again!

While it’s true the waitresses have a certain way about them, the food is alright.
The menu has decent choices although some of the stuff is a bit over priced.

If you want over priced greasy food then this is the place to come!!! Almost $ 6 for fries and a drink?! Are you kidding me? The menu said large so I was expecting a big portion but boy was I disappointed. I’d rather drive down the street to get better food for a better price.
This was my first and last time coming here!
On and exiting the parking lot is not easy here so be warned!!!

My wife and I have a rule, when out of town we always eat at a restaurant that we don’t have at home, when looking for another restaurant that a friend referred us to I said I feel like a California Burger, not an AZ one the thin lettuce Charbroiled taste and that famous sauce. I don’t know what other people are saying all I know is the workers were fast, polite, smart and real. No phonies here and when Visiting Ca for this country boy thats a huge plus. The food was excellent and we will be back. I visit this area yearly for business and this will be on my to do list.

I agree with most reviews. I used to come to this place a lot and now i find myself hardly going at all. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE… expect it if you go. They hate talking to you. Very quick to take your order and they all seem to not want to be there. They recently joined this piggies company this last year and since then its been really bad. Prices were great once, but since the menu change prices have gone up. Food quality seems to be just ok. You wont hate the food but its not to die for. It’s a diner, sort of, so you get what you pay for i suppose.

My friend who builds gym (
) and I went here for lunch. I ordered a Tilapia meal. Too salty. I even had him try it and he didn’t even like it. The beans and rice was salty too. On top it off, we weren’t alone. There were couple of flies lurking around our food lol.

Restaurant is at corner of del amo and Santa Fe avenue. Been coming here for pastrami, cheese burger combo, menudo, and chorizo and eggs plate. This place has always hit the spot for me for whatever I am craving.

Horrible customer service. Their workers (especially Hispanic female) seem like they don’t want to work there. No greeting, and waited a few minutes to get helped. Food was okay, but not worth the price. I guess since they’re the only food place in that immediate area, they don’t care about customer service.
Would not go back again. I would drive the extra few miles for better service and food.

I used to love this place when it was Del Amo burger. The prices are increased though. and the food isn’t as great as I remembered. :(
the breakfast burritos used to be made with grated potatoes. but now the potatoes in the breakfast burrito is like. a lump of potato… very sad because I loved the grated potatoes
I ordered the breakfast sandwich instead. pretty big and good for what it is. but it came out to like. $ 8 a sandwich w cheese. jeez… :\

I’ve been driving by this corner joint for a long time and haven’t tried it, shame on me.
I had breakfast there today since it’s real close to my office and there was a sheriff’s car parked outside. Those guys know where all the good food is.
I got what I always get at these kinds of sit down places, 3 egg and sausage with sourdough. In comparison to my favorite places it was as good as any of them. There’s lots of booths and tables and a couple TVs. It’s pretty clean.
I’ll definitely be back to try some other things.

There are only three things I look for in my zucchini order: they’re tasty, you get more bang for your buck, and they’re fried! Piggies has made all three.
These fried zucs have a good, crunchy batter that didn’t fall apart when you eat it, like some places do. The inside was moist and flavorful. The order came with one cup of thick ranch dressing, just barely enough for the abundance of zucs. Cost was $ 4.49 + tax.
This order is big enough to share for two, but I was a little piggie and saved it for myself.
I ordered it to go, so I didn’t get to dine in at this establishment. The fried zucs took a little long to get, so I did get a chance to notice that the place looked clean, and the customer service was friendly.
I’ll definitely come back to try more items.
