This 7 – 11 has a somewhat unfortunate location in the middle of Monument — in a not-so-great spot. But, if youre bowling nearby, it’s a convenient spot to get snacks or drinks. Inside the small store you find friendly service. Outside the store there are often people hanging around, but I’ve never had a problem with anyone — though I would suggest locking your vehicle, even if youre just running in really quick. My husband’s been in a nearby 7 – 11(at Mohr) on Monument while it was robbed at gunpoint — this part of Monument really isn’t great — honestly, the 7 – 11 at Oak Grove is huge and well-lit and brand new. Unless youre on-foot, I’d drive the extra half mile up Monument.

I’ve been here many times. The guy who works at the counter was very nice. He was helpful everytime. I didn’t use to go to 7 Eleven or any gas stations unless I’m driving long distance. My son and I walk here a lot. It’s either to check the Redbox or to get something to drink after a long walk or my son’s bike ride. I believe that variety and balance is important in one’s life. This is not a desirable part of Concord to some people as it is not Danville or Walnut Creek. But you come here and you see real people with real lives most of the time and it’s convenient with a nice customer service to boot. Last week I needed some money orders and all the banks were closed. My son and I came here to buy some money orders. Believe me I’ve never purchased a money order before so the guy at the counter explained it to me patiently even though the lines were getting longer behind me. The money order costs only $ 1.49 and the limit per money order is $ 500. So if you need to pay something for $ 510. you would have to buy two money orders and pay $ 2.98. It’s not bad ha for the convenience. It was so easy to buy. He tendered the amount into the cash register and printed the money orders. And off we went… You may not have everything I need(we’re not soda drinkers but you have the yogurt drink that my son loves) but I will keep coming back because of the top notch customer service. They have a small parking lot but I always see spots available. The lot goes to the other side of the building too. This corner is also an accident prone corner so just be very careful. Like your parents say when you were little, look both ways before you cross. Sometimes we tend to forget the simple things:-).

About the same as any 7 – 11: bit expensive(comes with being a convenience store) and no public or customer bathroom. The store is small, so the selection is not great. There’s no bike rack and the parking lot only has about ten or so spots, maybe fewer. It’s a standard 7 – 11. You know what you’ll get when you go here and you’ll get nothing else.

This is the spot where Anne Marie made me aware of the wonder that is Guava flavored Rockstar energy drink. right before introducing me to the wonder that is The Rack O’Porn. They also have a fine selection of beers. From cans, to bottles, 12 ouncers, tallboys, and Fo’deez…even the 32 ouncers that people buy and mistakenly call Fo’deeez. Be sure to get a crispy egg roll or hot dog that has been rolling and grilling away on the fancy 7-eleven rotisserrie. Or if your tastes are of the cheesy variety get yourself some nachoes and slather on as much cheese as you please! Lotto scratchers and Mega Millions??? They got it. Don’t forget to pick up a Trojan Vibrating Ring too! All your bases covered in one convenient location! *glaring ommission: don’t forget to grab some strawberry or grape swisher sweets for… uh. you know…
