Rochelle provided me with a buy one get one half off deal for a microdermabrasion(each treatment is $ 100 so I paid $ 150). I was not fully educated on the possible side effects on this treatment, nor was any other option advised to me. I’ve been suffering mild acne for many years, and recently broke out more than ever. I came in for my first microdermabrasion and had no complaints… that is until a few days after. My skin broke out even more. Anyone in my position would not have another microdermabrasion seeing as it did not benefit them at all. Not everyone’s skin is the same. That being said, I then spoke to DEBORAH about my experience and asked for possibly getting a peel instead since the last treatment did not help my skin. She then informed me that I would have to pay the difference for an acne peel(an extra $ 70 because the full price of that peel is $ 120). So instead of crediting me the buy one get one half off deal and charging me the extra $ 20(microdermabrasion is $ 100 and acne peels are $ 120) she refused to work with me and simply treated me like a worthless POS customer to the business. I’ve worked in customer service for over 10 years, and you do not treat customers like this. I did not ask for a free treatment. I did not ask for more than what was fair. All I wanted was help treating my acne! And instead of TRYING to help me, she pushed me away. I then asked for my $ 50 back and told her to keep the $ 100 for my 1st treatment. To top off insult to injury, she had the audacity to write this as her goodbye text to me. «Hi Amber I’m sorry you did not like the Microdermabrasion– we will mail you a check for $ 50 on the address you placed on your chart. Just FYI for acneic skin, after a deep cleaning such as the MD, all the dirt and impurities beneath the skin comes out of the surface and after a series of treatment and with the right products it will eventually clear up. Sometimes we also refer clients to a dermatologist for oral anti acne meds. Have a nice evening.» FYI?! It would have been nice if I was informed this information BEFORE I even had my first treatment! I was never even offered any after care products to help! This is not how customers should be treated. Especially when they’re coming to you with their biggest insecurities and instead of helping, you would rather throw more wood into their fire. Save your money… find a place who truly care about their customers, not one who just cares about taking all of your money. Excellent service at this spa. I’ve taken advantage of three different treatments and have been more than satisfied with all. Friendly, professional staff that treat you well and are great with follow-up. Located in a back corridor at Seafood City, this truly is a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered.

Been to many spas in all over there world and really enjoyed my experience at Better U! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the environment was calming and professional and treatment(facial) was nice and rejuvenating! Would highly recommend this spa, wish I could have been able to stay in town for more pampering!

This hidden gem is tucked away in the back of the seafood city shopping center. Once you enter the shopping center, veer to your right and it’s on the left hand side right after the restrooms. Rochelle is Amazing… She has a master’s in nursing, is going for her PHD, teaches, got licensed to become an esthetician and now runs her own business! Wow!!! The first time I went to her, I was hooked. She does amazing facials. I got the microdermobrasion facial in which She was very gentle and I felt very relaxed. Not only is she gentle but the products she uses are gentle to your skin as well. Rochelle truly cares and helps find what is best for your skin type. They have great package deals. I can’t wait to try the permanent hair reduction. Will post about that once I get it. :)
