The food was very tasty! Went on a Monday night. It seemed as though we were the only customers in the restaurant, but I believe they deserve more!

We are from the Southern California area and like good Thai food. This restaurant was recommended To Us by a friend. I ordered the pad Thai chicken and cucumber salad both were delicious. My husband ordered calamari appetizer and loved it. The only reason I am giving this restaurant a 4 rather than a 5 was the waiter forgot my husbamd’s drink. Otherwise the service was good.

Really nice place — I love the atmosphere and the ok service, but their food is the real attraction. It is delicious and presented in a very attractive manner. Their peanut sauce is well-seasoned, and their other offerings run the gamut from mild to spicy. Also, they do not rush you out the door; you can eat in a relaxed manner and savor your food and the atmosphere.

This place has the best pineapple fried rice around, and a wonderful poke appetizer as well. My fiancée and I have been here twice after Mt. Diablo hikes and both experiences have been amazing. Def. above the type of quality you’d expect in a strip mall in Clayton. Pro tip: Their patio is really nice, and we were the only ones sitting outside when we went.

A nice and hot soup was on my mind and Bronze Buddha seemed nice. And since we live in the vicinity, my husband and I decided to check it out last evening. I absolutely loved how they have done up the place. From the furniture to the cutlery to the wall hangings, it was all so beautiful. I was completely smitten. Our server was also very polite and pleasant. So to satiate my soup cravings, we settled for the TOMKHASOUP and may I tell you it turned out to be beautiful. I’ve always been a fan of coconut. Growing up in India I used to relish slurping coconut water from a young coconut sliced open in front of me by a machete yielding vendor. After sucking out every last refreshing drop, I’d hand the coconut back so he could masterfully chop up the shell and scrape out the slippery young coconut flesh. So, it’s no wonder that I love Thai food and this soup in particular, because it really features the coconut milk front and center. The broth was perfect and the soup was spiced very well. For the mains, we ordered for the PINEAPPLEFRIEDRICE which is very popular South Asian dish. I was a little skeptical in trying this one out but my husband assured me that I would like it and he was right. Golden grains of rice jeweled with chunks of juicy pineapple, cashews and currents served in a carved out pineapple with a taste that was heavenly, made me fall in love with this dish. I also tried the THAIICEDTEA which was perfect complement to our food especially on a hot day like yesterday. It was refreshing and sweet(thankfully not overly sweet). The quality of the food and the service was top notch! To sum it up, had a wonderful experience.

Me and my family went here when I first moved to the area for some celebratory dinner to our new home. My brother(who has traveled many times to Thailand) asked if they had panang for his padthai… the waitress had no idea what panang was and even claimed to be Thai after he asked(politely) if she was Thai. Everyone but me ordered the padthai. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken which was delicious. I noticed no one was really eating their food when I was about halfway done with my food. I took a bite of theirs, and quickly found out why. The padthai was so bland it was as if you put lightly seasoned rubber bits with noodles together. Displeased but not surprised since we were in Concord of all places for ethnic food(life tip: don’t get ethnic food where too many white people live) we left there, everyone upset but me since the yellow curry was great. Now. Why the 1 star. I returned back there to get the same dish, yellow curry, and ate it promptly after I got home(5 min drive). Later that night I received the worst food poisoning I’ve had in years since I rarely get sick like that(years in between each). It was so bad I had to get zofran to even drink water… a day later. I will never eat here again.

Thanks to Jessica T. I found this little gem! The food is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I’ve been here three times in the past week and am still craving it! First let me tell you that all the lunch specials come with a small house salad, an appetizer, and whichever entrée you choose. The house salad is your standard, but with a very yummy homemade dressing that tastes like Miso dressing. So far we have ordered the Pad Thai, Vegetable Red Curry, Sweet Basil, and Spicy Eggplant lunches. The Pad Thai was my least favorite as it was lacking sauce. It was a little dry. However, all the other lunch items have been beyond delicious. The vegetables are perfectly cooked and crisp while being full of flavor. Tofu here is yummy. For the appetizer’s we order the Chicken Satay, which is very good, and the Thai Crab Cakes. OMGoodness, I have never had a Thai Crab Cake, but man on man, these were quite delightful. If you have never had them, they are a must try! The restaurant is small, intimate, and very well decorated. There is also an outdoor seating area that I would have loved to take advantage of, but the weather just wasn’t permitting it. Service is very fast and friendly. I never had to ask for a water refill or for the finished plates to be cleared as the servers were on top of it all. This is my new go to spot for Thai cravings and lunch dates!

This is my favorite Thai place. The décor is beautiful and service is friendly and attentive! We ordered the Fantasy Tuna(seared ahi) and the fried rice with salmon(no egg). The presentation is always lovely, and tonight was no exception. Be aware that the ahi is served as 2 large filets, rather than sliced like you might expect. Tonight I had the moscato which went nicely with the spice we added to the food. Other favorite dishes are the scallops, yellow curry, tom yum, tom kha, and Thai spicy spaghetti. The Thai tea is also delicious! If you are looking for an upscale Thai experience, this is your place!

I grew up in the restaurant business and know good food and customer service. Beware of how they try and up charge you. We wanted one appetizer. The waitress suggested we get two for myself and two teenagers. One was plenty with our entrees. Then I’ve never been charged for rice when I’ve ordered a curry. I asked the waitress what she recommended. She said Pad Thai, but if I never had Pad Thai, probably not a good idea. I guess since I’m white, I’ve never had Pad Thai? Lol. Service was slow. Spent 75.00 on a so-so meal and felt pissed off on the up charges. I prefer Vanda Thai in Walnut Creek for a sweet authentic experience. And your bill will be half.

Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in 2016. After an invigorating hike up Mount Diablo — we were ready to eat. From the moment we walked into Bronze Buddha we were greeted with an abundance of wonderful vibes and helpful service. The décor isn’t particularly remarkable here, but it’s posh enough that Bronze Buddha is ideal for a casual meet-up as well as for a nicer evening meal. We ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke to start. The presentation was gorgeous: fresh ahi tuna — mixed in with plump fresh chunks of mango and rich avocado, and then topped with orange soy sauce and cilantro. A mouthgasm in every bite. For our main dishes we ordered the Salmon entrée and the Pineapple Fried Rice. The salmon was moist and adorned with a honey mustard sweetened green curry and served atop thin soba noodles and delectable steamed vegetables. The salmon was dreamy and the portion size as well as the artful display of the food was lovely. The Pineapple Fried Rice was just as exquisitely constructed. It was served in a pineapple shell and stir fried with chicken, prawns, cashew nuts, green onions, carrot, dried cranberries and whipped butter. It’s hard to go wrong with fragrant rice — but Bronze Buddha executed this moist dish perfectly. Throughout the evening — the staff made sure to check in on us a number of times and they were excited to hear our glowing comments about their wowing food. If you are in the Concord area — Bronze Buddha is a five star manifestation. The food is absolutely superb, the menu — vast, the presentation — beautiful, and the staff — quick and friendly. You can’t go wrong with Bronze Buddha. Trust.

Surrounded by establishments serving all kinds of cuisine(Mexican, Chinese, and American), Bronze Buddha sits gloriously at the center of it all. I have known about BB for a while, and on this particular day, a day where I was craving spicy, they popped into my mind and refused to leave. Craving something spicy is one of the reasons I went for the Thai Spiced Spaghetti, the other being that it freaking sounded amazing. The flavors were spot on and fresh. Tomatoes, peppers, onions, and fresh herbs; plus, the chicken was cut into nice chunks, and because they sat marinating in the sauce of the pasta, the flavor was of course intensified to the nth degree. I wouldn’t necessarily call it spicy though. In fact there was very little heat to it at all; a tiny bump in an otherwise amazing entrée. Before the spaghetti came the crab cakes. The second I noticed them on the menu my mind was made up. They come five to an order, so of course if you’re with someone you can either fight over the last one, or do the sensible thing and share :). They were filled with hefty chunks of crab and krab. They were the perfect starter, and I highly recommend them. It’s a bit dim inside, hence why my pictures are so dark; however, the dimness added to the casual, relaxed feeling I needed. The service was great. They were all very friendly, and served everyone in the dining room with a cheerful attitude; another factor adding to the relaxed feeling. For a pretty decent price you get amazing food, service, and ambiance.

We ordered Day boat scallops, coconut prawns and duck. Both entrees were just okay. The scallops and vegetables lacked salt but the pasta that came with it was really great. It tasted like pesto. The duck was over cooked, very tough. The coconut prawns were good, very strong coconut flavor. Only down side was it came with only 5 prawns. The service was decent.

This is a great find for the Concord/Clayton area. Service is slow, beware of that. I had to grab our own menus as we were ignored after we were seated. It was also confusing when the waitress was taking our order, she asked if we wanted any appetizer because the kitchen was slow, at least that was my understanding. It didn’t make sense to me on my folds, was there a separate kitchen for appetizers and entrees? In any event, our food came out super fast, so was she trying to up-sell the appetizers? It worked on the other neighboring patrons, but not on me. We ordered the green curry — definitely recommend. It was a great flavor and wasn’t too spicy. It was also served in a warming dish, which was much appreciated. It had a good amount of veggies too. Pineapple fried rice was delicious and it was served in a pineapple shell — because of course right? Pass on the drunken noodles. They did not taste like any other drunken noodles that I’ve had before. The rice noodles were not of good quality. It had more veggies than the actual noodles. This place is pricey for what ti is. Just FYI, but I guess there isn’t many options in the area.

My first time to visit this restaurant. The commercial plaza was busy, and the parking is a bit challenging. The façade of the place was not very impressive, but once you pass the front door, you’ll immediately notice the difference. The restaurant is nicely decorated with Thai theme(ofcourse), and very nice ambiance. The music played was nice and soft; not too loud. Customers are still able to have a nice conversation without using their outdoor voices. The restaurant staff are very very pleasant & friendly. The wait time is very short and service was appropriate. We ordered Thai pineapple friend rice and barbeque platter. The rice was very good, it had a yummy and unexplainable buttery taste to it(unless they really used butter) and it tasted just right. Although the barbeque platter was a bit much for us, we still managed to try it. The chicken was delish; the beef is good; and the pork was scrumptious! We’ll surely come back to try out more dishes on the menu…

This is a very trendy thai place. The lunch is customizable with your choice of entrée and appetizer, with lots of veggie options. It has normal sized portions(which is not normal for most thai places) and the food is served on cute plates. I got the vegetarian pad thai with tofu strips, and it was… not very pad thai like. The sauce lacked kick and the noodles mushed together. But I think a more fusion-friendly option will fare me a better opinion next time. The crispy spring rolls were very good, served with a very tangy dipping sauce. I wish they gave a different side besides rice — it was too much starch for me and I alot of it went to waste :(

Mah girl H and I came to this restaurant right before we attended the Chris Brown concert at Concord Pavilion(this location is only ~1 mile away). I specifically wanted to go to an establishment with *healthier* options because crop top + bloating = bad night. We frantically rushed in at 5:00PM(when they opened), determined to eat as quickly as possible so we could beat the HUGE rush for parking. Our waitress could tell that we were in a hurry and was very, very efficient + considerate in making sure we were taken care of. She even put a rush on the food so that we could get to the pavilion in time. H ordered the«Buddha Seafood» and I ordered the«Drunken Noodles». We accompanied our meal with two Thai iced teas(so much for trying to be healthy). Both dishes were incredibly flavorful and were rather large in portion size(neither of us finished our meals completely). The Thai iced tea was a *tad* on the sweet side — but it was SOHOT outside that the sweetness didn’t deter me from GULPING it down. Overall, delicious food in a beautiful restaurant — our experience here(rushed as it was) almost made up for the twenty minutes spent watching FETTY squirm on the ground while making the audience sing ~80% of his songs during his opening act ._____________,
