Chipotle Mexican Grill

Went to Chipotle again to get some carnitas tacos and had a free chips and salsa coupon (by the way, the chips were stale and WAY oversalted). They were so stupid at the counter they somehow screwed up the coupon. As the line was getting longer and more restless and ugly, the manager finally came out and said my lunch was free as they screwed up the order. Glad I didn’t pay for them, they weren’t that good. The worst corn tortillas ever. Idiots.

Chipotle used to have savory meats and wonderful flavor — now I have savory diarrhea and wonderful gas… seriously — 2 weeks and counting — my stomach is as firm as the outer lining of a taught hot air balloon… with no deflation in sight. FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHK

My only complaint is that the scoops of lettuce, meat, cheese and other toppings are so light, it is almost a joke. BUT. I do enjoy their salads once in a while. The calories add up quickly, especially for the guacamole, but I still enjoy the combination of greens, chicken, corn, salsa, guar, cheese and then extra lettuce. That last bit of lettuce they add to the top looks very tattered and strange but what the heck, it hefts it up a bit. Other stores seem to add larger scoops of everything making it a better value.

Last time there the chicken in my burrito was super cold. When asked about it the cashier told me sorry and to try again next time. Normally love chipotle but this location seems less well run then others.

I thought the Chipotle app would be a great idea. I live nearby and thought it would be a convenient way to place an order and have it ready when I arrived. When I tried it, the app indicated my order would not be ready for 40 minutes. Well OK, I will run some errands and then stop by for my order. When I arrived at the designated time and told them I had placed an online order, the employee printed out my request and said «We will get it ready for you right away.»
I was quite disappointed to find that all the app did was send them the order to be printed out and prepared after I got there. On a busy holiday week I wanted to «grab and go», not wait in line. The app seems to serve very little purpose.

Typical Chipotle food pretty much the same but there one waiter she needs to just find non-​customer facing job. If she’s serving I’m not ordering just turn around and go to another joint, she’s that bad… Their online ordering system is almost laughable it takes a looong time to push the order through the system to the store you select and order time is even more funny 45mins wait time for a burrito?

If you want a sloppy, ripped open, double tin foiled wrap to conceal the wetness burrito and level 1 wrapping skills go here. Might as well blend it up and throw it at your face…

Writing this review in comparison with the other Chipotle. Chipotle in general doesn’t give me diarrhea or make you feel sick for a fast food joint.
Service is OK. Meat portions are terrible, definitely pinching. Avoid this chipotle if you can.

It’s always a toss up when coming to this location. The food is great but the service sucks.
Going in at 12pm today there was no line. You’d think that would be great until you start to put your order in.
Both my honey and I ordered our carnitas bowl and burrito and found out how bad the workers comprehension is. Our carnitas were almost replaced with chicken due to the guy not listening to us. Be prepared to ask for more meat and veggies as the person who did the meat and veggies today was the most stingy worker I’ve come across here. Before asking for more veggies and meat, I had maybe only a few bites of meat to go with the greater amount of rice. More rice than meat at this price point is a greater turnoff than a hot person with bad breath.
Foodwise, the quality never disappoints as the ingredients always taste great on a consistent basis. The carnitas are my fave as they are so juicy and tasty that it’s worth it when you can get a good amount in your dish.
Just make sure to keep an eye out on how much food you are getting, as you may find yourself with more rice than anything else, depending on who is working. The two stars are only for the food as the service always leaves something to be desired.

Overall, it is decent and my daughter loves it so I cant go below 3 stars. But, if its that good, why the 3? Well…
– Their own Hot sauce isnt hot any more
– Burrito bowls are bland unless you dump in Tabasco
– Meat quantity seems to shrink at the discretion of the employee
– Rice was crunchy (didnt seem done just right — and seems to happen about 25% of the time)
– Service was fast and staff was friendly
Thus, it was a tough call to rate it but having been there about 10 times in the last 2 months or so, it seemed like a good average of our overall experience. The Chipotle Hot Sauce used to have some kick but this trip was just dull. The meat quantity — I got a single tong full but the guy in front of me said «can you go heavy on the meat, without the upcharge» and the worker took care of him. Guess he got alittle of mine?
We’ll keep coming back since its a fairly standard experience but the frequency may slip a bit while we continue our search for the ultimate burrito experience!

This use to be a good location, that’s completely changed. Teach your staff how to be polite to the customer. It doesn’t help to ignore me and then when you do finally acknowledge me you’re not even looking at me. There is no sense of urgency or respect towards the customer. Also, what’s the point of ordering ahead online when it’s not even ready at the time specified. If I wanted to wait around while you made my food, I would just stand in line. PS Your chips are stale.
Update: 8÷5÷15
I went back today to try it again, second try. I’ll say that it was way quicker service today and the staff was slightly friendlier. Little skimpy on the food and slow to move the line along. This was an improvement over the last time.

We’ve been frquenting every Friday befire shopping at Trader Joe. Almost always tasty as usual. July 3. prices increased… wasn’t expecting a big hike!

Good service and good food. I love how they have the sofritos and they give big scoops of guac for the veggie burrito and bowls. It is a fast semi healthy place to grab a quick bite. My only complainant is the patrons in line who obviously don’t know what they want or what they are doing.

CHIPOTLE IS LIFE. call me basic. I love coming here! The way they are with customers could use a little work (smile!). But overall they listen to what I want and the food tastes amazing.
The counters are always clean and tidy which is a must for me, with the fact that I work at Starbucks I can’t stand dirty anything when it comes to food or drink. I’ve never had a problem with them or the food. This place is pretty awesome.

I am a big fan of Moes Southwest Grills but there are none out here in the bay area so we go here. I find the food here to be pretty dang good. There’s usually a long line but it goes fast. I got the bowl with chicken and pork. The portion is nice and veggies are good. I hate that chips are extra!

What I love about Chipotle is the fact that I can see all the ingredients, EVERY SINGLE ONE! Yes, I will have friends say I can’t see the sodium or the ingredients in the sour cream or guacamole. However, compared to every other restaurant I frequent this place is as close to the farm as I can get. I often get complaints from friends about the salt content of the salsa and to them I simply say: Put down the diet coke and your bacon double cheeseburger and try to SEE the food you eat as individual ingredients, ps you don’t HAVE to have sour cream and cheese! My order every time is simply a burrito bowl with: lettuce, brown rice, chicken, chunky tomato salsa, corn and occasionally guacamole with a cup of WATER. Try that for a month and let me know how great you feel. So drop in and see Sam and Robert for a healthy meal that your future self will thank you for. Your Welcome…

One of the worst Chipotle locations I’ve been to with respect to food quantity. They must be under orders to cut costs, because the portions you get are VERY skimpy. I had to ask for a little more just to get a full spoonful of the sofritas I ordered, and she begrudgingly gave it to me before advising that any more would be a double portion. I almost said, «Your definition of double portion is most Chipotle’s single portion…» but held my tongue.
The pico de gallo looked sickly, like it was made with very old or very green tomatoes. We only ended up coming here as a last resort, as our go-​to restaurant was closed and we needed a quick meal.
Service was below par, but I wasn’t expecting too much. They seemed ready to go home even though closing time was over three hours away.
If the meal hadn’t been the normal Chipotle level of tasty, it would have been a one-​star experience.

(gives me LITERALLY a pinch of cheese, after she gave my boyfriend a huge handful, hence the «little cheese» part.) I proceeded to ask for a little bit more but didn’t get any. Not sure if she couldn’t hear me or just wanted to yell MILD MEDIUM HOT to the next customer.
These kids need to slow down and actually try to charm the customer or make them feel like they’re getting a SMALL amount of good customer service.

Fast, fresh, healthy and excellent. I was just here last week with my Mom, she and I had a rather amazingly, remarkable customer service experience. I had ordered the burrito bowl with Tofu, and my Mom had a Chicken salad.
Let’s just say that someone totally took care of us last week when we were here, and I will never, ever forget that experience.
