Courtyard

***The comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful customer service coupled with this hotel’s proximity to Downtown Concord make this an excellent option if you are in New Hampshire for business or visiting friends***
This was one of my most pleasant stays at a Courtyard recently. I think a lot of it had to do with the location. The people both inside and outside this Courtyard (restaurant servers, policemen) were very pleasant and helpful. This property is also located very close to Downtown Concord, which has a quaint small town feel with nice streets and even some good local food spots.
In terms of the property itself, this Courtyard did feature Courtyard’s Bistro and modern (powered) lobby concept, but the room décor seemed to be slightly old-​fashioned. My room was comfortable though. I was actually upgraded to a suite with my Platinum status and the room was very spacious. It included a very nice living area with chairs, a sofa and a coffee table as well as a long counter with a kitchen sink, refrigerator and microwave. The bedroom was a separate room and it was comfortable with a good room temperature.
This Courtyard also features a fairly large meeting room section. Some Courtyards feature small 15 to maybe 25 people meeting rooms, but this Courtyard has a series of rooms including several big rooms that could even hold banquets and such. The staff supporting the meeting rooms were very nice and helpful with last minute issues.
Service at the front desk was very pleasant and the room rate was not too high.
This is a pleasant Courtyard and a good option for guests on a business trip in Concord given the comfortable stay as well as the proximity to Downtown Concord, which can give you a small taste of the state’s culture and produce.
This Courtyard offers free parking and it is easy finding an open space.

Great hotel! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed the Bistro, Bar and Starbucks that are all located in the hotel. The room was large, clean and updated. We will stay here again.

I’ve stayed here twice while working on events in the area. The staff gets high praise from me; check-​in, even late at night, feels very welcoming indeed. One clerk even noticed that I’d be coming back again in a couple of weeks, and made sure to thank me for the repeat visits.
The rooms were clean and in good repair, and the Internet connection included in the bill (I’m so tired of the extra $ 10/​day charges at some hotels). I’d be happy to come back.

I stayed here recently one night for a business trip. The front desk staff was accomodating, my room had a king size bed and a pull out couch for just me and was priced under $ 100. Everything was clean and comfortable, which was nice after a long afternoon in the car.
When I first arrived I noticed that the toilet in my room wasn’t flushing correctly. I reported it to the front desk on my way out for the evening and when I came back a few hours later it was fixed with a note to let me know they’d been there to work on it.
I didn’t eat or drink anything there but the lobby looked like a nice place to hang out — there was a bar area and also a small café type space where I saw people in the morning getting coffee and breakfast.
There was free wifi, but even though it said I was connected to it I did have some trouble getting the internet on my phone without using data.

No refrigerator or microwave, breakfast not included. Very nice staff and clean but small room with view of rooftop heating/​cooling equipment.

Very nice hotel! The room is very nice and clean and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. They are currently doing some renovations (Sept., 2013) so they have moved the front desk. The only criticism I have is that the place is a bit difficult to find. I’d definitely come here again next time I am in Concord.

I’ve stayed here quite a few times and can tell you it’s a very good hotel to stay in. Why the 3-​Star rating? The rooms are dreadfully small. That can be said for any Courtyard by Marriott.
The staff is great and have always been kind to me. In the next few months from the time of this review (July 2013) they will be adding a Starbucks café in the lobby which will be great if you are a Starbucks lover.
I will continue to stay here when I come to Concord.

The website says the rooms have microwaves and refrigerators, so I planned ahead and brought some fresh fruits and yogurt, only to find my room did not have either. Apparently, only ½ the rooms have them, so make sure to be very clear when booking if you want one. They also do not have a vending machine. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Non smoking building.

Yup, it’s a Courtyard — Always reliable, consistent, and clean. I’m a loyal Marriott hotel user :-)

Perhaps a little nicer than you’d expect from a 3-​star hotel in a small New England town, with very sweet and helpful employees. Our room was spotless and well put together. It’s not luxury — not by a long shot — but it’s a perfectly servicable place to stay.
We heard from other people who have stayed at the other hotels in the area that the Courtyard is the best of the bunch, and we weren’t disappointed.
