If I could give negative stars I would I ordered over the phone took my name said 10min show up can’t find my order showed them the number I called confirmed it’s right but still can’t find my order says it was never even input no apologies no professionalism just plain we forgot do you want to order now? Hell no you lost my business going forward lack of accountability and poor communication simply too bad for the customer

I LOVE this Denny’s! The crew’s & I favorite late night spot after the gym. Christine(manager) is SO accommodating & friendly. She always takes good care of us as well as the team. They’re quick & awesome. Great prices and tasty food. The options are endless. Heads up, do not go to the one in Pleasant hill– they’re HORRIBLE. Christine agreed with me ;) anywho, thumbs up for the Concord team!

From Santa Clara, was in the area for a high school graduation and came to eat with my family party of 9 and our server was so negative from the beginning saying that he’ll get us water soon because it will be a while to take a drink order. Then he comes to take our food order and starts off saying that its going to take a long time because he’s really busy and don’t go to the other Denny’s because their even slower and then he doesn’t know another restaurant in the area that can accommodate a group of our size. Then move on to say everything we wanted to order would take forever to make them my daughter wanted a shake and he said that it will not be out until way after the food is ready. I think as a employee he was very unprofessional and discouraging. Not a good experience but guess that’s what we get for choosing to eat there.

I had the worst experience in my life it took the waiter 15 mins to come take our order and 30 mins to bring the drinks and when we tried to ask other waiter to go bring ours he said i have 5 other things to do and i don’t have time for that !!! Honestly never again

Stopped in a for a quick cup of Chicken Noodle Soup. My server was sitting at a booth that we walked by when the host sat me, and it still took her several minutes to get up and greet me. It was 5:45 pm on a Tuesday and the restaurant was relatively empty and I was dining alone. Soup was delicious and under $ 4, but would have initially appreciated a more attentive waitress, and cashier at check-out. I feel like every time I visit this Denny’s location service is about the same. But that kind of goes for every Denny’s location in general. I do enjoy their breakfast from time to time.

This Place at night is Horrible. The waitress Was super friendly but very inappropriate. We had to wait almost 20 minutes for the 2 waiters/waitresses to figure out who was going to take our order. She liked to Complain about how crappy the management is. Don’t know how another group of 4 came in got there order before us and was done before us. I don’t know what we did to deserve such F****** up service but I know for sure I will never go to this place again Don’t EVEREVEREVER Go here at night, if you go during the day do so at your own peril

I have tried this Denny’s several times, and today is my last time. This morning, I am sitting in a booth, wanting to have a peaceful breakfast. There is a man sitting in the booth behind me. We are back to back. He was there before I was seated. During my breakfast, a waiter goes up to the man and talks to him. I can’t understand what he is saying. Then some time goes by and the manager and the waiter are both looking in my direction, but not at me, at the guy behind me. The manager then goes to the man and talks to him. Some more time goes by and I am still eating, but just about to finish, when now the manager and two waiters go up to the man, sitting behind me, and aggressively ask him to leave. I am almost finished with my breakfast, but I just grab my check and leave, in order to remove myself from a potentially dangerous situation, already filled with drama. I get to my car and call the manager, and identify myself as the man sitting in the next booth, and asked him why he couldn’t have waited another 5 minutes before aggressively approaching this man, when I would have been gone, and when no other customer would have been around the man. The manager gives a blanket apology(which has happened before). He says: «I thought you were finished.» I told him I was still sitting there about to finish, but not finished, but left anyway to remove myself from this situation. I asked him to try to pay more attention to customers in the future, but I have said this to him before. I am done with this Denny’s.

Not a good place to eat. I mean Denny’s isn’t really where you go for service… or food… or even for a place to sit. But this place had low standards even for Denny’s. My coffee cup had lipstick, and even though my friend said that she was allergic to cinnamon, they still gave her cinnamon. You would expect that the almost death of my friend should garner a lower review than Claim Jumper, but you would be wrong. At least Denny’s isn’t run by Robert F. Ott, who has still not given me an apology. I mean, Denny’s should probably also apologize for almost killing my friend, but let’s work on poor customer service at Claim Jumper first.

First I want to say, the only reason this review is 1 star, is because of the night manager Rene, not only is he arrogant, he’s rude and doesn’t know how to properly speak to customers. He didn’t like where I was sitting, so he came over and was like«you can’t be here you need to move now» and then proceeded to yell at my server, Kristi right in front of me for sitting me in a section that he didn’t like me sitting in. My server Kristi is a phenomenal server and she and another server, Angelo are the ONLY reason I come to this Denny’s. If they weren’t here I wouldn’t come here. Same is true for my family and friends as we come here at least once a week if not more. Rene needs to be fired, if anything at least needs to be retrained. This isn’t the first time that I’ve experienced his attitude, but it is the first time I’m saying something, because this time it affects me.

Slowest This denny’s has the sloweet service. Waitress pointed us to a sit. No menu given. Took our order 20mins after. 1hr and 30mins of waiting still no food. Resto is not even full or half full. Bad rep. Dont go here if you want to eat.

Don’t get me Wrong, I like«diners». But Denny’s Sucks. A lot of these Chain Resturants are terrible. I ordered the T-Bone and eggs. I substituted the hash browns for the Undercooked Grits, which had plenty grit. The«medium rare» T-Bone was super thin(less than ½″) and it was very Well Done… The service was Minor League at best. They didn’t know how to step up a table for Nine, without blocking access to the entire section. Denny’s didn’t hit a Grand Slam With me today…

im a regular customer here at dennys willow pass concord California branch. Today is saturday dec. 26, 2015. I decided to have my lunch here at dennys and to my surprise service is horrible today, they took my order coffee and the country fried steak. Coffee was served after 15 mins of waiting and it came on a dirty cup, so i complained and returned it back and when my food came i realized i dont have any spoons on the table. when the waitress ask me how am i doing, i told her that service is horrible today and she didnt say anything. my waitress name was Rubi, L. I haven’t had a horrible experienced in the past and i guess today they dont have the manager on the floor. emma b.

Wanted over easy eggs got medium fried, but fixed them with a smile. 5. Food did not taste like chain and was seasoned. Whoopee Oh yeah, this was on Christmas and they were busy. I’m sitting here at 2 in the morning alone in a Denny’s, which usually makes me question my life choices. Of course it’s still Denny’s, so the food is that basicness it needs to be the middle of the night to eat, but at least tonight the staff made me feel a little better about my loneliness. The waitor has consistently made sure I had a new hot chocolate before I run out of my cup, and the lady who just came to clean the floors had a smile on her face saying how much she appreciated her job. I appreciate you guys!

They are trying Stuff let me wait to be seated as they(team of two of them) were busy with the cash register. Nachos had too less sauce compared with other Denny’s restaurants, but still edible. Missed free WIFI service. Good: offered me another soft drink to go Very Bad: acrid smell of urine in the entrance area

I’m writing this review WHILEDINING at this crappy location. If it weren’t for the fact that I haven’t anywhere else to be and am trying to kill time at the moment, I would have up and left. I sat down to my booth at 4:00 and only about 15 minutes ago received my order. That’s AFTER I sat here for 20 minutes waiting for a waitress to even ask me what I wanted to drink. So what if it’s an early Sunday morning with the drunk crowd? This nasty place isn’t even halfway full… AND the worst of it? My food is SUPER oversalted, I received the incorrect toast, and my omelet doesn’t have the mushrooms I ordered. In reality, I shouldn’t even eat the food. I believe that the bathroom and dining room are damn good examples of what the kitchen looks like. Let’s put it this way: the woman’s restroom only had one operable toilet and the floors in the dining room don’t appear to have been cleaned in some time. YUCK. Perhaps you should also be alerted that their entry door has a sign indicating not to leave valuables in your vehicle as there have been break ins. Bad news. It may be the only 24-hour Denny’s in Concord… but it sure ain’t worth it.
