I’d LOVE to be able to tell you how the food was. However, I can’t because the food was never consumed. My daughter goes to Concord High and had forgotten her lunch. I was not able to bring her anything so I was going to place an order here for her to pick up so she could eat. When I asked if he could take my card info over the phone so my daughter could simply pick it up he barked at me «No, I can’t do that! I’m too busy! I’m TOOBUSY» and hung up on me. Flabbergasted I sat there with my mouth open on the other end of the line and had to inform my daughter that sorry, I couldn’t place the order. I GET that the HS kids go here during lunch and it can get crazy. But for him to deny an ORDER flat out is insane. Way to keep your customers happy, sir.

I am only marking one star because I have to pick one. I went into this restaurant a few minutes ago to ask for a job application. Their sign said hiring now and I have a female friend who is looking for a job. When I asked for the application, he just stared at me oddly. Then he asked what kind of experience I had. I explained that I was stopping by for my friend. I said that she had years of pizza experience and asked if the job was for delivery or in house. He stared at me again and said nothing. Then he smiled and said he needs a man, he needs men. I was stunned and said men… why men? You can’t do that, it’s against the law. He then said that it would be working at the fryer station and that it was hard work and he needed a man for the job. He stated that the fryer baskets were heavy, like 5 – 10 pounds. Then he asked how old my friend was. I was again stunned and said you can’t ask that and that I did not know how old she was. He pushed and said, well about how old do you think? Amazing. What year is this? 1900? Oh my god, I am so shocked and upset and I will never eat at this place. Maybe they have great food, maybe they don’t. The point is that this man, obviously the owner, is a sexist, ageist jerk. Good luck with hiring your men. Avoid this place if you have a morsel of moral decency and if you are living in the year 2014, not the dark ages.

Fina Pizza & Subs is located along Warren Street directly across the street from Concord High, which makes this place very popular for students to grab lunch or snacks. Especially around lunch time, the place is very busy with a long line. The students are allowed to stop here or go to Concord Farm(they are not allowed to go to the Irving Bluecanoe). The place is a gold mine! A school special menu is offered here(small discounts) including roll-ups, mozzarella sticks, fries, and pizza slices, which are $ 1.50 for a cheese slice, cheaper than what the school cafeteria charges. The place does not have much seating(only one table in the corner) so customers would eat their food at the counter. Anyways, I decided to order dinner takeout from here very recently. I ordered a small Hawaiian Pizza($ 6.95) and intially a Gyros($ 5.50). However, as I waited I was getting more hungry and asked the owner if I could upgrade to a Gyros Dinner($ 6.99 — with fries & salad) which was gladly obliged. The food was ready in about 20 minutes. The Hawaiian Pizza was surprisingly very good, which crispy edges and a smooth firm bottom crust and tasty toppings, sauce, and cheese. The gyro was stuffed good with grilled gyro meat, tomato, lettuce, onion, and a garlicky yogurt sauce in a grilled flatbread(slightly overdone). The fries(though frozen out of a bag) were fried golden brown and very good. The salad was lettuce, tomatoes, and pickle chips. Well done! CLOSEDSUNDAYS
