Kumon Math and Reading Center of Concord – Clayton Valley

I worked here for half a year… had to take a fat math test in order to get hired.
Left because of the tedious work I had to do of organizing packets for the kids and sorting sheets of paper to be shelved… and grading packets upon packets of worksheets of MATH… dajisda;slkjf at least it sharpened my mental math skills since I started to not bother to check the answer sheets after a while.
I only liked working here back in high school because I worked with friends ;)
In terms of how good of a place it is to send your kids (elementary-​high school) for math and reading help. I’d say you’re better off helping your kids improve their skills by going to a place that doesn’t force them to go through hours of repetitive exercises and endless papercuts… Some of the kids seemed so tortured coming here every single day to turn in their work and pick up new packets. The lady in charge is pretty nice, but I’m not sure if she still works there.
