This is based on attitude not merchandise. The customer service in the establishment apparently thinks they are better than the customer. They have no issue with talking down to someone they deem unacceptable as customers. I went shopping for a gift and wanted to pick something local. Supporting local artists has always been important to us. I went out on an errand day which included several stops at a variety of store and did not dress up. Apparently my «look» led the staff to believe I didn’t have money to spend — seriously jeans and sweatshirt. After a lovely condescending exchange I left, walked down the street and spend my several $ 100 at another local artisan shop. Merchandise is worth the price. Attitude is NOT!

Amazing variety of hand made products made in New Hampshire. I wouldn’t call anything a bargaing but this place is hard to beat if you’re looking for something unique and very well crafted. Hats off to the artisans whose wares are sold here!

This is still in my top 3 places for unique gifts and just to support New England craftsmen. They have beautiful ceramics and glassware, and you can find things in every price range, though you’re obviously paying a bit more for handmade items. You’ll really get«one-of-a-kind» gifts here, not pseudo-artsy things that everyone else is buying.
