This is a great TINYLITTLEVERYSMALL business that has been around for at least 35 years. I really enjoy supporting the local business. This place is so tiny they don’t have a restroom. I had a grilled hot dog.

I’ve been eating here for many years. I love the Cheese Dog. Today I finally made it back in to try a wet chicken burrito, which was very tasty! The enchilada sauce over the burrito has a lot flavor too! I’ll be going back again!

Potato salad is good but got home and there was no cheese on my hot dog. When you pay for something you should get it

Good hot dogs and reasonable prices here. Might be best to stick with the basic hotdog: I had the cheese dog, expecting the cheese to be melted, but it’s just cold shredded cheese added on top. My wife had the slaw dog, good hotdog but the coleslaw doesn’t really add anything. Buns were warm, soft and perfect. They also serve Mexican, pulled pork and salads. A small seating area inside: 3 tables for four and 2 tables for two. Another couple tables are outside. Judging by the Friday night business, it’s a popular to-go place. There is only one person handling everything, so there may be a little wait if several are ahead of you.

Look, the lady who owns this place is super sweet and seems to genuinely love what she does and I hate to say anything negative about nice people BUT I can honestly say there isn’t anything special about this place. I can’t say anything bad about it either. All I can tell you is that the food on the menu tastes and looks like stuff I make at home. I suck at cooking, pb&j and boiled hot dogs are my specialty. When I go out I want something that’s not made with basic stuff I can whip up at home. It would be cool if she put her own spin on classic dishes. I fully understand that they offer different toppings but it would be cool to see some originality. Everything tastes just the way mom makes it. Maybe I’ll try again in a few months and see if there is something that wows me on the menu.

Like the tortilla soup. Love the street tacos. Didn’t like being pushed out the door because it was close to closing time. Next time, just ask us to order our food to go, it would have been no problem Love the street tacos. Did I mention the street tacos?

In my mind Lisa V’s was the kind of place that sounded good until you showed up to eat. Just something about the place gave me an odd vibe for some reason, but last night I finally dined in. The place is small, very small, but they have seating both inside and out. The menu has some wide ranges; both a wet burrito and potato salad make an appearance on the same menu. Other options on the menu are: street tacos; salads; hot dogs; nachos; and fries. Speaking of wet burritos and potato salad, that is exactly what I had. Being a huge potato salad fan, when I saw the sign claiming that it was homemade, passed down from«dad» himself, I knew I had to try. It wasn’t bad, definitely better than most potato salads I’ve had that claim to be «homemade». However, it’s nothing I would rave about either. The wet burrito was OK. I like that the guy made it for me right in front of my eyes; however, it wasn’t hot, it was barely even warm. The ingredients making it up tasted good: chicken, cheese, onions, etc., and even the sauce was good; however, if it was somewhat hot it would have been so much better. The place is very cutesy, a few inspirational art pieces on the walls, and a mural to «mom» and«dad» by the counter. Overall I’m glad I finally made it here.

We picked up my glasses from the optometrist next door and decided to try Lisa V’s on recommendation of by an employee at the optometrist. Will rate the food from best to worse: Pork Tacos: excellent, good tortillas and pork and cilantro sauce Hot Dog: average to good. No complaints Nachos: not appetizing, these were 7 – 11 nachos, basically. The woman behind the counter was very nice.

Great little place to grab a dog. Try the sauerkraut, it’s delicious. The dog also popped when I bit into it. The woman who helped me was very friendly. The coleslaw was fresh and homemade, really tasty too. Nice change from going all the way to Caspers. I will be back.

I’d say 5 stars for what it is, which is: Food that tastes real, not out of a box and warmed up Fast A little nook in a shopping center I had beef tacos that were really good, my husband had a chilli cheese dog that was pretty good and the potato salad was fantastic. This place seems to me like someone’s dream, it means something to them to have this place, beyond self employment. Good job, Lisa

First time here, finally decided to stop after driving past it every day. Food was good. I appreciated the freshness and tastiness of the food. Prices were good, as was variety. My only complaint, one or two more tables should be added for peak crowds. Otherwise, amazing!

I drive by this place everyday and finally decided to give it a try. I was craving a hot dog so I ordered the kraut dog. Yum! The bun was pulled out of a warming oven. It was soft, warm and tasted fresh. Nice long hot dog that filled the whole bun so each bite was delicious with all the ingredients included. I enjoyed it so drove by the next day and thought, what the heck? How about a chili dog today? Same warm, soft, fresh bun and tasty dog. Smothered in hot chili with lots of onions. Honestly, there’s nothing gourmet about Lisa V’s hot dogs. It’s just a nice place to grab a quick bite and know that it’ll be good and fresh. People seem to like Lisa V’s because there’s always at least 4 – 5 customers when I arrive and more come in while I’m eating. I’ve seen some pretty great looking salads come out of the kitchen and I hear the potato salad is a favorite. I’ll be giving that a try soon. Staff is real nice too and very accommodating. I’m glad I stopped in!

Lisa V’s has the most amazing Chinese chicken salad! I crave this on a daily! The salad is portioned very big, enough for two(or one VERY hungry), has fresh chicken, mandarin oranges and a wonderful homemade dressing that is to die for. The price is affordable and the staff is sweet. Overall, it’s a win win:) I have also tried the homemade chili and tortilla soup and was pleasantly surprised with how yummy it was.

The street tacos here are incredibly messy and delicious. They are a great blend of flavors with out going overboard. The hotdogs are also good, try the one with chili mmm taste bomb.

I really like that I can get a delicious salad in Concord on the Clayton side without having to go to Sweet Tomatoes in Pleasant Hill. Service is friendly and prompt and they are generous with portions and condiments. Cute little place with a cute story on the wall.

I have a complaint!!! I would eat the wonderful hot dogs that Lisa and her staff make if only I didnt gain so much weight. It happens every time I start eating them every day. I have no problem eating them every day, heck, just about the best dog around! I wont admit that I’m addicted to hot dogs, there are some that just arent fit to eat, but Lisa’s, well I cant seem to stay away long enough to lose some weight. Is there a «Hot Dog Diet» that anyone knows about? It would have to include hot dogs daily and STILLLOSEWEIGHT! Actually, I have to admit I eat the double dog, do you think that might have something to do with the problem? Oh and I’m so happy that my daughter AND God daughter BOTH love hot dogs. Sure adds to a nice relationship — to eat a great hot dog with your daughter(s).

Shared a small pork burrito so we could see what the 4.5 stars was all about… it’s not about the burritos, apparently. It wasn’t bad, but def not even close to great. Lacking texture, it was just a cheesy, ricey, beany, squishy burrito. Some pico de gallo would have done wonders, but I didn’t see any & it wasn’t offered. Maybe their hotdogs are really on point and responsible for such a high rating. Might go back to try one. Service from the middle-aged Hispanic gentlemen was good. He was pleasant, accurately described the food, and efficiently prepared it. It was just about closing time, so he brought us some water at our outdoor table before he locked up. Nice of him to think of that :)

Cute little place. This is one little café I have been curious to check out since discovering it last year. So being it was lunch time and I was close by, I decided to see what they offer. This place is small, cute and cozy feeling, with just a small handful of seating areas. Their menu is chalkboard written on the wall above the register and little kitchen area. Their menu offers a variety of American food such as Hot dogs, hot links, salads, as well as some Mexican food thrown in there such as street tacos and burritos. Most of the items seem fairly priced. And being I am usually on a low carb diet during the weekdays, I decided upon a hot sausage link(bunless) with onions and mustard. I also ordered a chicken street taco which comes with a chipotle sauce, onions, cilantro and salsa. It also comes on a corn tortilla which I did not end up trying. My total came to $ 7.10 My hot link turned out fabulously delicious. Hot, spicy, and juicy. Also the taco’s were surprisingly quite tasty. Not the best street tacos I have ever had of course, but decent. Especially the chipotle sauce. Overall, cute, clean place. Friendly service. Decent prices. And decently tasty food.
