Don’t order the General chicken, it was covered in a bright red sauce that tasted more like ketchup. It was not good, I used to come here all the time and loved this place but they must have a new cook. My husband got the combo fried rice which was good. My son got the BBQ ribs and once again it came smothered in this dark red sauce like my chicken. I’ve never seen that much sauce on regular BBQ. His fingers are still stained today from the red dye they must have used in their food. I wold not go back unless they get a new cook.

I grew up about a mile away from this place. It’s great! I think most of their customers do take-out, because there are always plenty of open tables if you show up for dine-in. The food is tasty – not the best Chinese you’ll ever have, but it definitely gets the job done. The Honey Walnut Prawns, the General Chicken, the Mongolian Beef, and the Fried Rice are all delicious.

This used to be my favorite chinese food place because I would only do pick up orders. Now I have been twice for a dine in meal and they were very rude. They try to rush you out. The food is still good but they need to be more friendly to their costumers!

This place is horrible. I haven’t liked it for years but my parents used to love it until we had it a few days ago. They hated it and now they won’t go back. Worst chinese food ever! They don’t know how to do general tso’s chicken at all. It looks breaded instead of glazed. That is wrong!!! After my mom had the prawns, she said she would never go back. I would never eat seafood from there. Probably makes you sick! Some of the food is mediocre but not good enough!

The food, service, and delivery time was up to par! No MsG upon request was an added plus! We always order war wonton, hot and sour soup with rice and foiled wrapped chicken

This place is a rip off, and the services is awful, not sure if its recently but i asked for won ton soup with beef and noodles and the server said«noodles» oh ok. Not once did she say it was extra, which I don’t mind but please make the costumer aware, Please. Then the server said for all you and we asked is one portion enough for us and there was three adults and a child and the response was, well one portion is for 2 to 3 people and we said well enough for 4 ok was the servers response and not once did she say oh its an extra portion. #2 we asked for chow mein no veggies, and regular fried rice with chicken. Well we get the chow mein with little bites, shredded beef to be exact and a handfull if that. Same with the chicken. Fried rice. And when i asked why a soup that cost 6.97 went to 13 .97 the server said oh cause its extra noodles and an extra portion. Well its not the cost but the way they approach the situation and try to bee right… I will never again go there…

We’ve eaten at Mann’s for at least 20 years. The food is still tasty, but the service and attitude are terrible. A few months ago I ordered a delivered dinner. I calculated the items with delivery fee and tax. First they tried to overcharge the delivery fee based on my address(per their chart). Then the lady over calculated the total. I asked for a breakdown, which was a challenge! She said the web prices were old. Not my problem! She kept throwing out random prices until she under calculated. .so I just went with the lowest«bid!» Unreal! Last night we ate on their location. Waitress(older lady) was not having a good night. She came over for our drink order and only brought one of two sodas. Then when I asked that she take our food order, she said she’d be back(after taking a food order from a couple of guys who had just sat down!) When I asked for my diet coke, she insisted it was the Dr. Pepper my son was already drinking. Having had enough attitude from her, I told her that I would stick with water and to forget the diet coke. So, then she comes out with a Dr. Pepper for my kid! Hello?! I told my son to drink that one and made her take the first glass. away, as she looked in astonishment. UFB! I think I’ll find a new Chinese joint. Afterall, they’re all over . Who needs attitude from a Chinese restaurant? Not me! See ya sister!

I have been in love with Mann’s Chinese since I was little. I grew up down the block and it was always nice to walk down, stuff our faces and wobble back home fat and happy! Amazing wonton soup, amazing pot stickers and the best BBQ pork fried rice! They have great sauces on all of their dishes, and everything is reasonably priced and delicious. The staff is really nice and it’s family run, they’ve all been there since I was little. They’re really respectful and don’t try to rush you out like so many places do. Their lunch special is perfect, if you eat in house you get fried wontons and soup, then a plate piled high with whatever you’ve ordered. If you take it home you have to order the soup and fried wontons on the side, but it’s worth it because they pack so much food in there that you’ll be able to eat it for a few meals. Definitely my favorite restaurant of all time! I even had dinner before prom with all of my friends here when I was in high school. If you go enough they will start to remember you and learn your tastes-I used to go for lunch with a friend all the time and they knew to make her food as spicy as possible and mine as sweet as possible. Great people, great atmosphere, great food!

Over it. This would be 1−½ stars if I could offer half stars. Up until recently I’ve really liked Mann’s, for their food and their delivery. But lately their service has been on a downward spiral. It’s like lately they don’t want to deliver anymore. I call in to make an order and they tell me well over an hour to have an order delivered. The first couple times I figured it was because they were busy, but once I decided to pick up the order instead, and there were maybe 2 tables busy. This tells me they don’t want to do delivery anymore. If that is the case, STOPOFFERINGIT! My final straw with this place came tonight. Okay it’s a Friday, I can forgive longer delivery times. What I can’t forgive is the gristly meat, and the soup container with the broken bottom. Good thing they had it in a bag or there would have been hot and sour soup everywhere. I am once again on the hunt for a decent Chinese place in Concord that has good food delivers in a timely manner… and wants to do so… because I’m done with this place.

The upside: they’re very quick with delivery… that’s it. The downside: the food is really just not good… it’s very bland and flavorless. Even the so called«spicy» items on the menu lacked flavor and heat! You’d be better off finding a Panda Express to get Chinese food from in my opinion.

Quick, convenient, cheap and good. Manns is our neighborhood restaurant go to place. My family and I were looking for a yummy yet fast dinner after a long day and this was the perfect place. I recommend the hot and sour soup, broccoli beef, honey walnut prawns and combination rice. They also gave us a 5 $ gift card along with our bill! :)

My first visit to this restaurant. Went for an early(5:30) dinner. Pros: 1) BBQ pork chow mein was really good, if a little too garlicky. Not oily, and noodles were cooked just perfectly. Would order again, but ask for no garlic. 2) Service was attentive and polite. Restaurant was quiet and relaxing. Cons: 1) General chicken was dry, possibly old, and just not very good. Not at all spicy as advertised. 2) Rest room(men’s) was filthy. Needed a serious scrub down. This does not bode well for what the kitchen must look like. 3) I ended up getting some«tummy distress» later that night. Verdict: On the fence. Might try again, and order something different(NO fried chicken item though). Might not.

This place can be just ok or not good. Sometimes it’s not bad. Tonight was definitely a miss! We had black bean chicken and we asked for green vegis, which we did not get. The tea was luke warm and very poor quality. Worse yet were the BBQ spare ribs which was nothing more than old boiled pork with red sauce poured over it. Admittedly I should have known better but I always try to give a restaurant a second chance. However, what really bothered me was their very rude and argumentative attitude when we told them. They finally and begrudgingly took back the ribs, so we ordered won-ton soup instead. I had it about a week before there and it was good. This time it was terrible and very salty and loaded with msg after we told them not to. I believe they did this deliberately because there were no vegetables or meats included in the soup like we usually get. In addition the waitress was sour when she practically threw the food at us, and later handed us the bill. They never even said thank you and instead glowered at us as we left after we paid our bill. You can assume I tipped accordingly! We are never going back. Caviat emptor!

Delicious food! I always come here with my friends after school(its right next door to our high school) and the food is always delicious! The customer service is great. Their chicken chow mein and pot stickers are the best! Would’ve rated 5 stars but almost every time I go I have to ask for a new plate because the one they give me at first is dirty.

Came for quicklys stayed for Manns! Greatly surprised with this hidden restaurant! Ordered the honey walnut prawns and chicken chow mein. Wait was short, service was great and the food was DeLiCiOuS! We ate until we couldn’t anymore and didn’t even finish half of the huge portions! Prices were good too. New favorite place!

A while back, my husband and I had been ordering from another local Chinese restaurant, but it was pick-up only and we started to notice a decline in taste. I put it out to my facebook friends and asked who their favorite Chinese delivery was… an overwhelming response of Mann’s came pouring out. It was settled; we would try Mann’s. At this point, I almost regret finding Mann’s…almost. They are so good that we can’t help ourselves now! We order at least once a week, and once or twice, we’ve ordered twice in a week! We love that they deliver and they’re so fast, too! They almost always quote us 45min to an hour, but it’s always been at least half that. Last night, it was 18 minutes! What??? That’s practically only enough time to bag the food and drive here from their location! We pretty much order the same thing every time, so I can’t really expand on many of their menu items, but what we do get, is delicious! Crab wontons/rangoons are perfect! I could eat all 8 by myself. We also get the egg rolls, pot stickers, chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein. Why mess with wonderful? I guess if I had one complaint, it would be that our pot stickers are sometimes a little too brown on the bottom, but if that’s my only complaint, then they’re doing pretty well. :) Mann’s is saved in my phone under Favorites, just under my best friends, parents and husband. Good for them, probably bad for me. ;) 4 stars instead of 5 for sometimes overcooking the pot stickers and we once ordered broccoli beef and got too many chewy pieces and haven’t ordered it since. But, it really is great bang for your buck! Try at your own risk of falling in love with a new Chinese delivery place.

Mann’s is my go-to place for fast and inexpensive Chinese food. Their lunch specials range around $ 5-$ 8 and include an entrée, fried/steamed rice, chow mien, an eggroll, and a bowl soup. It’s a great deal if you have a craving for Chinese without really caring about the quality. If you come in to eat, they’ll provide you with a basket of fried wonton strips that you can dip into red sweet and sour sauce. Their dinner combos are about $ 1 or $ 2 extra and come with crab rangoons. Mann’s is the generic, cheap Chinese place where you’ll find the same sweet, tangy sauce poured over a whole bunch of fried things. Their food is nothing special and there isn’t a lot of variety on the menu. That being said, their specials are a great deal, even if they do seem to coat everything in oil and sodium. Their hot and sour soup is my favorite, it’s the perfect balance of tang and spice and I think it’s one of the best places to get it(even if the sodium content does spike my blood pressure). But I mean, most people don’t come to a Chinese restaurant for fine dining or because they want a healthy meal. I don’t usually go out of my way to come to Mann’s, unless it’s with coworkers on a lunch break because they are very fast with getting food out. The servers are always very friendly and attentive and drinks are constantly refilled without having to ask. I haven’t tried other Chinese restaurants around the area, mostly because I’m not that big on Chinese food, but from what I’ve tried, Mann’s seems to be the cheapest and quickest option for passable Chinese.

We live in the neighborhood and often stop in for a drink or two and to grab a bite to eat. I have never eaten in the restaurant, only in the bar area. The service is always excellent, in fact this is our neighborhood spot! My favorites are the pot stickers(best i’ve had!) and the lemon chicken. The hot and sour soup is quite tasty as well. I will say that sometimes the food is better than others however even at the worst I’ve had it’s still decent. Overall very reasonably priced and good food!
