P-ZA Pie

Walked in and ordered a Supreme Pizza & Caesar Salad w/​Chicken — took about 20 mins which is perfect time to have a cold beer while I waited!
The pie — thin crust, very tasty, slightly sweet tomato sauce, decent — not excessive — amount of toppings. A little greasy but nothing like the mass produced places! Overall — very tasty and looking forward to trying more of their pies!
The Salad — a little on the pricey side and light on the dressing but good texture for the lettuce and a nice surprise to have green olives included. Interested to try their strawberry, apple, gorgonzola, romaine salad next trip!
Pricing — a tad high for a pie, salad and a beer but on par with Skipolini’s and other places we enjoy.
Return visit — absolutely! Love having a new pie place in town and hope they’re successful.

I am quickly becoming addicted. When I want something quick and healthy, the salads here are AMAZING. The spinach salad is my personal favorite, and the portion is pretty generous if you get the full size. The crepes are also really really good, and of course the pizza. The truffle & mushroom pizza is so so good.
I will say this isn’t a place for date night, the inside isn’t super dressed up, but the food is delicious and it is my new favorite casual dining spot.

Update 6÷7÷16 2^nd order. Delivery driver very nice. Order arrived 10 mins late. We ordered 2 small Caesar salads asked for blue cheese and Caesar dressing sent 2 Caesar dressings. My beet salad had 1 small cherry tomato, minimal olives, and minimal goat cheese. Our meat lovers pizza big disappointment. Everything in the middle of the pizza and meat was chewy and dried out or burnt. Hubby said owner should know this. He doesn’t want to order again. I say try again as this had been one of our better pizzas (1^st time) ever besides our homemade. Inconsistent. Just some constructive criticism. Will still tell to try.

Very friendly and accommodating staff! The pizza and crepes are yummy and they are dog friendly!

I’m going to start this review off, by saying one thing: Nobody in the restaurant biz, in Concord, is going to take better care of you than Habib.
I used to frequent this place due to convenience (I live only 100ft behind it), but started branching out to other pizza joints in the area. Big mistake. From the quality of the food, to the pricing, to the service, P-​Za gets nothing less than an A++.

As a side-​note, my visits are normally a bit late (almost to closing time), but I have never been told they were out of ingredients or unable to be served. Quite the opposite; Habib & staff are very careful to make sure I get everything I need or want before leaving.

Amazing Pizza! The owner Habbib is hilarious and definitely makes the place fun to eat at. Pricing wasnt crazy and they even do pizza by the slice! Would definitely recommend if your looking for top of the line pizza with a great eating environment.

4 stars for their desserts! Food is OK, but I am most impressed by their shakes, banana cream pie and crepes… yum!

Tried P-​Za for the first time and we loved it.
We have a hard time finding establishments that do pizza by the slice and thankfully we found slices here at P-​Za!
They have Pepperoni, Cheese, Hawaiian, Supreme, Sausage!
We got (2) Supreme (1) Pepperoni and (1) Cheese. They were HUGE slices! like two pizza slices in one!
Very yummy! The cashier suggested we could get a whole pizza and we appreciated the suggestion but we stuck with the different slices :)
Over all I definitely recommend P-​Za and can’t wait for us to come back!
Forgot to mention that they have small snacks like chips and cookies there also AND a Banana split advertised!

We enjoyed our pizza but the Mediterranean crêpe was AMAZING! The employee Ty especially stood out to us and made a great impression! She always made sure everything was tasting perfect and had great customer service. We hope to get her next time!

We live close by and never tried before. We ordered for pickup. The BBQ pizza is SO GOOD! This is my new favorite pizza place. The crust was absolutely perfect, thin, right crispness, cheesy. We also got the pesto breadsticks and my kids inhaled them. The Caesar salad was «ok» but everything else made up for that. We also ordered 2 dessert crepes and again, the 4 of us devoured them. We will be ordering again! Love having a small business with excellent food so close by. Don’t foresee ordering pizza from a chain pizza place now that we’ve tried P-za’s pizza. Give it a try, it won’t disappoint! Thanks for great food and having our order ready by the time my Husband arrived to pick it up!

Service is always excellent. Staff very friendly. But most important is that the food never disappoints. Pizza is fantastic. Order from the menu or pick something anything you like and you will be happy. My personal favorite is hamburger blue cheese (not on the menu). The crust is never burnt or soggy as another reviewer mentioned and to me that is so important. Also they never skimp on the toppings.

I’m not local, but stopped in for lunch because my grandpa is a patient at the rehab down the street. The guys that run the place are very nice! The pizza is good, but not great. BUT! The banana cream pie, oh my!!! So, so good.

Amazing pizza and breadsticks. The salad was good as well just not exciting like the rest of the food. For the price this will be my new pizza place. Pretty bummed that even though I’m only 3miles away they wouldn’t deliver had to drive and do pickup.

Great pizza. Had the popeye. Also had the nutella and banana crêpe which my kid ate happily. The environment is comfortable with lots of TVs playing sports, tho the xmas music started to become a bit much.

Catch drink smooth not full. Limit drink ¾ that dude waste my money cost me $ 4.50. Please don’t buy drink smooth

This has always been a great place to grab a quick slice of pizza for lunch. The owner and his staff are awesome and have always done a great job.

Went in, on screen menus didn’t have pizza listed only crepes, so make sure to look for the menu near the register or simply ask for it. The wait for the pizza didn’t take long. Biting into the pizza, it tasted very good. The crust didn’t taste like cardboard, and the rest of the pizza blended well for my taste buds. I had the Hawaiian and pepperoni pizza and definitely recommend it. My only gripe is that you have to ask to get refills whereas other food stops have the beverage machine free to use for customers. Other than that, great pizza!

Nothing to write home about here so I’m gonna keep this simple and sweet.
We ordered the parmesan chicken wings, you could have made those yourself and better. The BLT avocado sandwich was pretty tasty though.
Also ordered some kind of alfredo chicken crape, that was mediocre. It if wasn’t for the groupon we wouldn’t have gone. Their pizza oven is the same belt driven ovens like Domino’s…
I shall not return.

Searching on Unilocal for crepes in Concord has historically returned a dearth of results; you need to head to Walnut Creek or Pleasant Hill and drive for half an hour to find a creperie. But lo and behold, P-​ZA Pie, a new local Concord restaurant offers crepes in addition to pizza and paninis. I must admit, the combination of these foods seemed somewhat unique, but crêpe beggars can’t be choosers and we headed over.
The restaurant exterior, although shiny new, seemed to scream non-​chain fast food. My expectations at this point were definitely low. The place was pretty full when we came in, seating is somewhat limited, so we ordered a couple crêpes to go.
While we were waiting, the personable new owner came by to chat. Turns out he also owns Fiore, a high-​end Italian restaurant, perhaps the finest Italian restaurant in the area. P-​Z Pie is his new baby. He definitely knows good food, and how do run a quality establishment, and my expectations quickly did an about-​face.
Our crêpes were both excellent: the Chicken Alfredo & Gouda crêpe was fabulous; $ 5 for this crêpe is an amazing value. The Strawberry Nutella crêpe was also quite tasty, again an excellent value at $ 4.
This is a great place; we will have to come back to try the pizza. First impressions can definitely be deceiving!
