Mark is a true expert in his field. If you want to gain strength, muscle, endurance or simply lose a few lbs. this is the guy you want to work with. As a former athlete he taught me things trainers never pointed out in the past and succeeded in pushing me harder than I have been in years!

I have been training with Mark for several years, first at a gym, now with him directly as an independent personal trainer. He finds ways to challenge me and keep it interesting. He accommodates injuries(not from training!) and adapts the workout to whatever my doctor orders, and on short notice. We did a lot of skiing conditioning work and I could tell that it worked on the slopes. Mark is also fun to talk to, but he keeps me on task. He is also very reliable. I can only recall one or two emergencies over the past 4 years when he had to cancel. and he gives plenty of notice of vacations. On the flip side, if I have a commute nightmare and am late he is flexible and does his best to reschedule me.

Mark has been training me for almost 2 years now. His expertise and vast knowledge of fitness and nutrition is applied to each of his clients appropriately. He is not a «one size fits all» trainer– which I have experienced alot of in the past. He works very specifically to rehab my knees and work around neck pain proving that no matter your limitation, you can reach your weight loss/fitness goals and improve your ailments at the same time! Just came from another early morning workout. Feeling great, fit, strong! Couldn’t do this without my fabulous trainer, Mark Strom. I’ve worked out with him about 2 years. With his training sessions, and his help/advice with my nutrition, and overall motivation and support, I’ve lost 30 lbs. and kept it off. Mark’s training knowledge and expertise are the best! He’s serious about helping his clients reach their fitness and health goals. He works with all ages and all fitness levels. He challenges me with all the exercises, and knows just when to kick the workouts up a notch to reach maximum improvement and progress. I have trained with Mark for about a year and a half. When I started with Mark we had a great conversation about what I wanted to achieve. I feel that he is always checking in with me about our goals. And I feel that he thinks about every session that we have to adapt the stretches and the workouts to conform to our plan. And he mixes up the routines each time so that I don’t get complacent. He is also always punctual and stays in touch if our schedule needs to change. I have always been impressed with his knowledge of all of the muscles and with his ability to «work» each set as I need it. And he is fun! I highly recommend Mark to anyone wanting to get some direction with their exercising and fitness done by a true professional.
