I called Multi Locksmith and«Jason» showed up within about 30 minutes. I’m giving 5 starts because my tech was neat, clean, polite, on-time, and fixed by large door business lock. Now the other reason I am giving them 5 starts is that although the problem was fixed when Jason left my office(late on a Friday night-btw), the next day, the rod in the door got stuck down in the door. I called Jason directly from the invoice where I had his number. He was on another call in the area. He came over within about 1 hour, and fixed the problem. He told me if it happened again, I would need the door taken apart. Regardless, the $ 124 I paid for the call and the repair was worth it.

I’m actually sitting here right now waiting for muti-lock! I was also told, «no more than 30 minutes». That was an hour ago. The technician just called five minutes ago and told me he was on the way and would be here in 30 minutes! Ridiculous. It’s not the tech’s fault. It’s probably the lie that the answering service is told to tell everyone so the customer doesn’t call someone else. Never again. Still waiting. It’s been 90 min now.

Long story short — I get locked out of the house. I have to get the key under the bumper of my car and drive to another place to use the phone to try and call a locksmith. I get these people. They say the guy will be there in no more than 30 minutes. 45 minutes later he finally arrives(just as I’m about to leave again to try and find a different locksmith — I have no cell phone, it’s inside the house). The guy looks at the lock and says«oh, this is the hard one. Anywhere else we can try?» All the locks are the same. So he wastes an hour trying to get in the house and I’m thinking«this guy has no idea what he’s doing» Also, «oh, this is the hard one» should not be in a locksmith’s vocabulary. I end up squeezing my hand through the doggie door and getting the door open myself. The guy, who was late and literally did nothing, charges me 78 bucks. 78BUCKS! Now I can see charging me the fee for showing up — but he actually charged me more on top, as if he performed some sort of service. I could have shot WD40 in the lock and tried jimmying it myself. 78 bucks. For doing nothing. A rip off and a terrible service.
