Watch out for the bums as you enter the store. The deli will get you the galloping guts from poor food handling. (But per the deli manager I’m only person reporting a problem.) Starbucks is always busy and the checkout staff is friendly

Been here today to pick up my cake unfortunately there has been a mix up but the manager in charge Rosalie was kind enough to offer me a free cake. I wasn’t hysterical but deep inside I am because everybody in the house is expecting my cake and it wasn’t the one i used to bring tres leches. but I can’t blame the staff they work very hard and under pressure. But honestly they were very calm and professional and understanding otherwise I would’ve reacted badly. thank god I did not.

This Safeway has been kind to me, they deal with lots of crappy customers and weirdos, thanks for the hard work!

I love my Safeway and know many if the checkers. However I think they have hired new employees recently that have no idea of good customer service. When I worked at a grocery store and I was asked where something was I would show the customer. Not say oh I don’t know somewhere in the middle.
This review is solely for the bakery! Smh! Ordered a cake and paid for it this morning. Went to go and pick it up and the bakery staff looked like deers in headlights. They spent 10 minutes looking for my cake. I was already running late. My cake hadn’t gotten made so I was forces to pick up a different pre made cake. I asked the girl to write something on the front and she was completely incapable and then started rubbing it off the cake taking the other frosting off with it. So I then had to pick out another cake and wasn’t able to have writing in the cake. Safeway did however refund me and they didn’t charge me for the cake we were stuck with.

Usually Safeways are a scary place but this was not too bad. Got in and out with the chips and dip needed for a party. Customer service was decent enough (hey I got a compliment on my dip and chip combination).

This Safeway is getho. I’m always afraid I will get robbed in the dark parking lot. They need to put up more lights in there. They have a guard out front so they know there is a problem.
Scary shopping experience :-(
