Joy is the best stylist I have ever been to. She is awesome and so funny too. Never a dull moment around Joy. A wonderful person. I love the new salon she moved to – The Mane Gallery. My wife is a long time customer of Joy’s and highly recommended her.

I have been going to Joy for a long time but I just had to write a review at this time. She has moved to a new site, The Mane Gallery on Salvio St in Concord and what a difference this has made in the overall satisfaction of Joy cutting my hair! She has always been outstanding at listening to what I have wanted even though I have difficult hair (very thick and wavy) but at this new shop she has learned new techniques which has smoothed out my stubborn curls!!! She has always been upbeat, professional, and reasonably priced, but with her new location I cannot recommend her any higher.

Been going to Joy for my men’s haircut for over a decade. Started when I lived in Concord. Now that I live in Sacramento, I still drive to Joy to get my haircut. She works out of Charisma Salon. Charisma is across the street from the Concord BART station and is in the same shopping complex as a CVS drug store. She has also worked on my wife’s long blond hair for cut and color.
