Sleep Inn Concord – Kannapolis

So the lady in the front was great and very sweet. We get in our room and it’s clean and do able for the night. Just when we settle in, the TV doesn’t work because the cable company didn’t do their job correctly and now are forced to go to another room when we are already unpacked and comfortable. The price wasn’t exactly right 110 $ for the night got in around 1am. Because of the inconvenience she gave us a 20 $ credit. This is not a bad hotel just upset about the situation especially when your ready to wind down from driving and suddenly your stopped in your tracks.

We stayed here for 7 nights for work. Staff was friendly but not responsive to problems, requests… We had a problem with our tv. First they told us they didn’t know how to fix it, but when we returned to our room we found it had not even been looked at! Then they sent someone up while we were out for dinner… made the problem worse… We left our room at 6:30 am… returned at 2:45 pm and they were just beginning to clean… although the room was comfortable, for the price, we will not return… Too many other choices! Also, it is a pet friendly hotel, we had a dog with constant barking at 6:30 am… when reported to the front desk, she told us the owner just left for the day!!! We also had someone attempting to get into our room at 4 am! We were told «sorry, she was intoxicated and couldn’t find her room». Don’t stay here!!!

Good hotel, very friendly staff, parking good, rooms very clean, pet friendly as well.

This place was surprisingly clean for such a cheap hotel ($ 69.99 for a room with a double bed). I came here because I was stranded by «snow» and bad driving on I-​85. I walked in and got a room easily. They have large screen TVs, free wireless, the décor in the rooms is up-​to-​date and the free breakfast was really good!

Awesome property and management. Our large group has been going to the Carolina Renaissance Festival for 14 years and we’ve changed our booking to this location because of the reception and hospitality of the staff.

It’s been many years since I’ve called Concord home. Nearly every time I come back, though, I can be found at this hotel.
The main reason? Location, location, location. It’s right next to 2 gas stations, 2 restaurants, and a fast food joint (if that’s how you roll). Within easy driving distance are a few major stores, a mall, and lots of other restaurants. Not to mention the fact that the interstate is… well… right over there (*points*).
On top of that, the place is very clean, and the staff are friendly. If you opt to take advantage of it, there’s a free breakfast, which is generally enough to get the day started. The waffles are my personal favorite.
