On June 12th, 2016 I hosted my son’s HS graduation dinner at Old Spaghetti Factory. We were a large party(41 was the final count) and we were given the banquet room at no additional charge… I did a smaller menu to keep things flowing and easier on the waiters and waitresses WHOWEREABSOLUTELYTOPNOTCH!!! Coordinated this event with Miss Heather a Manager and also spoke with Jesse and Davide’(SP?). The Food was served to everyone nice and hot, efficient and we all enjoyed the event. Thank you OSH for making my son’s grad dinner special!!! I wouldn’t hesitate to return for other family events!!!

The food is delicious you won’t be disappointed my favorite is the lasagna, mmmm just thinking about it made my mouth water lol. So if you’re ever in downtown Concord and want some lasagna you know where to go. Plus you’ll really enjoy all of the neat décor inside the restaurant.

I think the only reason people come here is for the Mizithra. I’m not a huge fan of it. I had the Fettuchinni, which is hard to mess up so it was good. The hostess was nice enough although we got sat at a table with a puddle of melted ice cream on the floor. When we told the manager who happened to be walking by, she frantically had someone come to clean it up. I asked if we could move, and they said oh we will have it cleaned up in no time. We had to stand there while someone pulled the table out to clean under it. Then our waiter had a bad attitude, probably because it was pretty dead that night. But you would think he’d be a little more attentive since we seemed to be one of his very few tables. Asking him for anything, even if it was something he should have known we needed, was like asking for a favor from someone who hates you. Definitely not a welcoming atmosphere.

Always have a good time with my family when i go. Wish they had more on their dinner menu, but the food is excellent. Service is outstanding, and location is terrific. Also their restaurant interior is really cool. So much to do around that area, bars, movies, park, stores.

The place has been great and the food was delicious, just like in old times. This being said, I’ve learned today that pepper apparently goes bad and that the chef decided that fresh pepper is no longer needed to cook tasty traditional Italian meals. Bring your own pepper mill if you live the illusion of wanting to have a great tasting meal with some good fresh pepper. Cheers from LA

By far the worst restaurant I have ever been to. My brother in law had a question about my nieces free drink, and before he finished she interrupted him and said loudly for everyone to hear«Oh, so you want ANOTHER free drink!», when he hadn’t even asked that! The table was wobbly and it took us asking 4 people to finally get it fixed. The waitress never refilled our waters, forgot my salad, and when we asked for crackers with our soup she rolled her eyes and said she had to ask if we could have some and huffed as she walked away. The food was horrible, I could make a better spaghetti sauce by opening a can from the dollar store. My husbands spaghetti with meat balls and Italian sausage was arranged to look like a penis was on his plate! Absolutely horrible, we had children with us. Inappropriate and unacceptable by all means. Never will I return to this restaurant, and I will advise anyone thinking about going to pick another establishment to eat. Completely dissatisfied with the service and food.

First spot on a money spending day was this place casually sitting between a wonderful Thai restaurant and Half Price book. This restaurant has been here since I was a junior in high school. It’s lasted long even with the number of restaurants surrounding it. Not that bad of a facial(outside) makeover either. I really dig the glass windows and how they can open up now. Really funny sitting on the bench waiting for a sit or just relaxing and then turning around to see OHPEOPLEEATING. I can say that I’ve eaten at just about every table here. Booths? Done it. One booth five times with friends. Tables? Done it? Near the bar? Done it? Banquet room? Done it. In the car/train/thingy? Done it. What can I say? Back in my senior year of high school this was lock-in for dining out. Parking is not crap here. Sure on the weekends or on days when the Farmer’s Market stops by(Tuesday/Thursday) parking right in front of this place isn’t keen. But there’s plenty of other lot parking, street parking, and two parking garages. If push comes to shove, park at Park & Shop, near the high school, or in the lot near Bart(it is cheap and a five minute walk). Never been disappointed with the service here. The hosts always welcome me and whomever I am with properly(smile, gentle tone, genuine delight that we are here.) The servers are so nice and prompt. Never had to wait for our food for too long. The managers have always checks up on me and my table to see if anything more could be done, and what-not. Fair, on a busy weekend, don’t expect to find seats within minutes. Give it twenty to and hour especially during the evening. Seems like a bunch of Concord folk like to be here. Garlic bread: pieces are big, crust is crusty, inside is fluffy, cheese melted right, and to dip it in the marinara sauce is fantastic. Spinach and artichoke dip: my favorite appetizer here. The bread is nicely toasted. The dip has a great mix of the spinach and artichoke with bits of cheese. So hot, so delightful to take in. Oreo shake: Let’s be clear. I never order this after eating my main meal. I drink it during my meal. I normally like it without whip cream.(whip cream yuck) but if I forget to ask to be without it I always just mix it into the drink. So cold. So thick and smooth. No chucks of Oreos that clog the straw at all. It’s expertly mixed and so sweet. Spinach tortellini: THECHEESEFILLEDINSIDEOFTHIS. I’ll admit that half of my experiences with this dish hasn’t been too good. Half the time this dish comes to me cold, tasting almost like plastic, cheese hardly as gooey as it should be. The other half of the time the food is on point, chewy goodness, heated, melted cheese, delightful Alfredo sauce. Either way I could never really finish it because this dish is heavy. 4⁄5(those half moments take that fifth star away and of course the iffy waiting time on weekends)

This place is a classic! The food is tasty, filling, and affordable! The best part is receiving the spumoni ice-cream for dessert! The wait can be lengthy on the weekends, but it’s a great option for a night out, on a budget.

So the«old» can mean a lot of things. The restaurant does give you an antique feel… I remember going to the one in Jack London Square. It didn’t seem as dark as this place. But that is not why I come here. I am in love with the Mizithra Cheese and browned butter. Simply delicious!!! I’ve been here a couple of times with my son and hubby. My son is a huge train fanatic, so of course, seeing the train in the middle of the restaurant makes him happy. This location is close to my job and my co worker and I have ordered for take out and have dined here. Service was great both times– no complaints! To go orders still come with a soup or salad and bread. We will definitely be back again!

This place is awesome if you are craving carbs! I’ve been here a couple of times and each time I have left satisfied. This restaurant is a chain restaurant so you can find these all over California which is great. The particular location is located in downtown Concord which is great to see other areas in Concord but it is terrible for parking. There are parking garages around but you can also find street parking if you are lucky. During the week this place isn’t so bad when it comes to waiting time but during the weekend(like any other place) you can expect to wait. The décor is a mix of modern and classic which is a nice balance. The service here is pretty decent and the food is always great! Definitely one of my top 10 stops to eat when I am in the area! Check it out!

Old and depressing. I went here a while ago and haven’t been back since because of how unpleasant it was. Food was BLAND, service was sub-par and I don’t blame them. Everyone seemed like zombies dragging their feet. It’s a good place in a prime location. They need to spruce it up, the place and menu, and it could be a huge hit. Such a shame.

What a value for the price you pay. Look forward to complimentary fresh baked bread and every dish one orders comes with soup or salad and either coffee or ice cream. The portions are more than satisfactory and the food is really good. The venue is spacious, great for large parties, but still able to accommodate the couples who just want to enjoy each other company. This restaurant is located next to Todo Santos park, which really adds appeal of having dinner at this restaurant as one can enjoy a brisk walk around the park and the plaza.

Service is always a little stretched thin(especially if youre seated in the caboose), but if youre patient, you will get a delicious dinner here, including salad or soup, and dessert. Can’t beat that! I think it’s only $ 1 to add iced tea or milk to your meal. The creamy pesto dressing on the salad is the best. Mizithra cheese and browned butter on noodles is rich and satisfying. Rich enough I split the dish in half with their tomato sauce marinara topping; then mix it all up! Spumoni ice cream for dessert — usually almost too full to finish it. But leaving ice cream behind is not allowed. Come hungry!

This place has been around since I was a kid. I’ve only eaten here a handful of times, and even to this day the food is still average. Their pasta sauce is so mediocre, that it tastes like they went to the store & bought tin cans of tomato sauce, didn’t bother to season it, and they just hest it up & pour it on the food. The Alfredo sauce that my friend tried, was very thin, bland & flavorless as well. The salad was extremely boring & also lacked any excitement or creativity. Our server was prompt, but was very to the point, and not very friendly. And the bland food took kind of a while to come out. The location is right downtown & finding any parking that’s close by can be a huge challenge if the other stores or businesses nearby are busy.

One thing you can count on is the consistency of service, food, ambience,! Starting from the hostess, She gave us a perfect seat inside to trolley at middle of the restaurant looking at dining room. Our server Harley did not stop smiling from the moment he said hello till the time we left. I had the lasagna which had great flavor with good potion. My wife had the managers special: spaghetti with clam sauce and red sauce with mushrooms half-and-half Manager was nice enough to stop by and clear the plates. To top it off they gave us the perfect spumoni ice cream. And the bill !! for what we had should’ve been the double price! All in all great experience, it will be back soon

I’m not happy with my food today. 1st there are no lunch options for penne alfrado sause. 2nd everything is in extra charge. They don’t have Penne pasta at all. not an option. Then they are nice to help accommodate me an the alfrado sause is terrible; it was watered down and has no flavor really bland. This experience was very disappointing especially when your heart was set on eating some good pasta. The only part I enjoyed was the bread an butter. I will find another pasta place close by work before I come back here.

I have been coming to the Spaghetti Factory for years with my family. It is our tradition to come for my dad’s birthday every year, and we always get our favorite dishes and drinks — my brother the Oreo Masterpiece Milkshake, my dad the lasagna, and I the spumoni ice cream. We all also love the garlic cheese bread as an appetizer before our main meals. The service is always super friendly and quick, and there has only been a few times where we’ve had to wait for a table. I enjoy the atmosphere and remember times when I was little where I requested to dine inside the cable car(which is fortunately still there). I’ll be back soon to celebrate my dad’s birthday again this year!

Been coming to this same OSF since the 90s before we had kids. Then, our girls grew up dining on their children’s menu. Excellent and consistent al dente pasta all these years, sauces have improved, and pasta meal selections are more varied now. The dim lit ambiance with chandeliers with traditional furniture give the restaurant an elegant timeless feel. Front desk seater servers were aloof and formal. We spent the 20 minute wait at Half Price Books where we met friendlier workers. Today’s server was Laurel. She was lively and friendly. She attentive to us and worked tirelessly. She made sure we had our entire three course meal at a timely manner. We chose the garlic mizithtra, crab ravioli and spinach tortellini. The pasta dishes were flavorful and delicious. We’re glad we tried the new items. We asked for extra sauce on the side as well as refills for drinks, and Laurel and Britaney delivered flawlessly. Customer service needs to be warm from front foyer to table. We left Laurel an encouraging note for all her help. Keep up the great work Laurel!

10÷25÷15. Dinner Rather good food for a chain. We are in Portland at the original location and thought would try it since we were shopping til very late. They have pretty good variety in pastas. I do notice a lot of specials in Alfredo sauce, which I avoid because it gives me heartburn. You can order plain pasta with either one of their classic sauces: mushroom, rich meat sauce, pesto and mushroom. *Chicken Parmagiana($ 13.95) a good portion and the chicken is not smothered with so much cheese and sauce. The tomato sauce over the chicken schnitzel is good it not overpowering. *Garlic Shrimp Capellini($ 15.95) simple and lighter choice. Big pieces of crunchy shrimps are poached, the capellini is tossed with garlic and little bit of Parmesan cheese. The cocktails are just so-so. Cosmo doesn’t taste like they used real cranberry juice. Moscow Mule is stiff and fuzzily. Both $ 7.25 which is a great value. The meal cones with a choice of soup of salad. The mini sourdough loaf is piping hot. Good service.
