Who knew there was a café inside of Bass Pro Shop?! As many times as I’ve been in this massive store, I never noticed this place. Tucked in the corner, it’s a nice alternative to the mall food court. As an employee putting 40+ hours a week into work at the mall, it’s nice to have another option. The food court gets stale, quick! My staff pointed out this hidden café to me and I decided to give it a try. Nothing fancy here. Just a small space offering a variety of sandwiches, ice cream and fudge. Considering the limited space, they do offer more than you would think. Clearly some of the food is pre-made and served from a tub(i.e. the chicken salad, the tuna salad, etc.). It’s decent. The grilled cheese is pretty good but some of the soups are hit or miss. I do like the salad but on occasion I’ve gotten bad cucumbers. For the price, you can’t beat it. The soup and sandwich combo is a steal and where else can you get a salad with meat and egg for under $ 5? Especially in the mall! This has become a frequent lunch spot for me and is easily the«healthiest» option in the mall.
