El Taco Veloz

There is a reason why this place is so busy!
It is basically a taco truck with a covering, and plenty of cute little tables. We went on a Saturday at 12:30 and omg they were doing business! I think they even do car orders. We tried the following meats: barbacoa (rich and flavorful), chicken fajita (marinated and tender), beef fajita (chatted with onions, yum!), chicharon (cooked perfectly), pastor (so flavorful and well prepared), and lengua (their weakest in our experience, not as tender but still goo). The red and green salsas are to die for, and they even gave a salsa pig like myself extra! I will DEFINITELY return, and actually can’t wait to do so.

I was on my way to La Palma taco for my taco fix, when I passed this little taco stand about a block away.
Why did I stop? two reasons.
1. The place is set up sonic style were you park in front and they come to you and take your order. And after a day of school supply\grocery shopping my dogs were tried and I the idea of drive up sevice was «heaven»
2.pretty good Unilocal reviews and they had my favorite taco barbacoa. And they take plastic, enough said.
Ordered 4 harina (flour) tacos with onions cilantro added avocado and queso.
the braised shredded beef was moist tender like well cooked pot roast and at 2.00 bucks +a few cents more for cheese and avocados plus a soda this was and excellent inexpensive late lunch.
I rarely give 5 stars but what put this visit over the top for me was fast friendly service and how my food was packaged. More time then not taco places individually wrap each taco smushing them in the process. Not here as you can see from my photo my were wrapped nice on a Styrofoam plate wrapped in foil.
So I enjoyed a plate of beautifully plated warm taco when I arrived home.
I will be back.

Bacon breakfast taco wasn’t cooked all the way… Rest is history. Stay away from this one.

Best taco truck ever! Delicious tacos and huaraches. Really fast service like the name says! You can drive up and place your order to go, or sit and enjoy that authentic taco truck atmosphere. They even have clean bathrooms! You can’t go wrong with this place!

The tacos are out of this world. Reminds me of the taquerias in DF.
The barbacoa with Aguacate is my fave.
