Super 8 Conroe

Way too expensive for the location. In a ghetto type neighborhood, homeless people about, better stay closer to The Woodlands than to run across a Conroe «Tweaker»

First of all they sent us to a room that hadn’t be cleaned. Stuff all over the room. How do you not know if a room has been cleaned or not? Second of all they are not pet friendly. This would’ve been fine if other hotels in the area had rooms, but they were booked, so my poor dog had to sleep all alone in the truck. The neighborhood behind this place looks very hood. Sheets are very rough. It was a long itchy night. Beds are super firm, like hard as a rock. Hair dryer wouldn’t work. Room 117.

Decent price hotel looks nice and recent renovated. Staff was slow service at check in and check out. But Big problem was when I was awaken at 4am to the broad next door getting pounded for at least 3 orgasms! She’s a screamer! Turned on the light in the bathroom at 5am and about 10 roaches scattered! If u stay here leave the lights on to keep the critters away!

I reserved a room with 2 queen beds (at a higher rate than 1 king) and guaranteed the room with my credit card. Super 8 isn’t my first choice, but I figured one night wouldn’t be bad. I won’t be making that mistake again.
When I arrived, the lobby reeked of cigarettes. Nobody was at the desk. When the front desk agent came out, the first thing she said was that they were sold out. Not a good sign. I told her I had a reservation, and she pulled up my reservation, printed out a slip, and took my credit card and ID. While I was checking in, a friend or coworker came in and the desk agent started chatting with the friend in Spanish, and continued during the entire time I was there. I don’t know a lot of Spanish, but at times I could tell they were talking about us. Not professional at all. I signed the slip and then as I was looking at it, I realized it said «1 king» rather than «2 queens». I told her I had reserved 2 queens, and she said my reservation was for 1 king. I pulled up the email confirmation, which clearly showed 2 queens. She said the reservation had been changed and that they had no rooms available with 2 queens.
I asked her if she was going to put us up in another hotel, and she said it was an independently owned hotel and that they didn’t own any other hotels to put us up in. She called a manager, but that didn’t resolve anything either. I looked up Super 8’s customer service number and called them. After about half an hour waiting for someone to answer, I explained the situation and they said they would file a report and get back to me next week. Gee, thanks.
I looked up other hotels, booked a room with 2 queens at the Hampton Inn, and went and stayed there that night.
I will never stay at this hotel again, and am now hesitant to ever stay at any other Super 8 or Wyndham property.

My boyfriend and I were exhausted from an 8 hour drive and decided to look for a decent place to stay. This motel looked nice and clean so we decided to give it a try. Our room was spacious and clean, only negative thing was the roaches we found throughout the room (mostly in the bathroom). If you’re looking for a one night stay and don’t mind showering with roaches, stay at Super 8!

Mike the manager was very rude. I left my work boots outside of my room to air out. The maid threw them away. I forgave her, because she didn’t know what she was doing. Mike could have cared less and acted as if it was my fault for leaving them out there. I needed to print a very important one page document. They simply lied to me and said they don’t have a printer. Really?! Mind you I was here on a two week stay and am a very respectful person. Other than the fact that Mike needs a serious lesson in people skills, this is a well kept facility.
