Nice comfortable feeling restaurant in the middle of a strip mall. The ladies run a tight ship here, and offer good service as very reasonable prices. The menu is quite a variety, with many food items available as well as photos next to every description. I ordered the menudo, which turned out to be quite tasty, with plenty of tripe, and a savory broth. I will be coming back next time I am in the area!

Would not recommend this place. The salsa was more like a vegetable soup. Device was so-so. I didn’t expect 5 star service. My wife and I shared a plate of tacos. We asked for carne asada and they mixed the meat with cherizo. Plus it just didn’t taste good or fresh

Definably better places in town, I came here once for some nachos and needless to say, it was the worst… The«beef fajitas» tasted like chewy rubber…

Solid. Chips n salsa are amazing, although the red salsa seems a bit watered(still good, just not a fan of dripping). My Chile Relleno was awesome! My friends enjoyed their Fajitas and Lengua De Mexicana. The menu is massive and portions were huge. Pictures on the menu was a tad blurry, and the dish lacks a description. So know what you want, or you can ask the nice waitress for help. I’ll definitely be back!

ALL that really needs to be said is ROACHES and FLIES. I did not stay around to try the food… you will have to do that if you dare… lol

Quality of the food has fallen considerably. Chips and salsa are still good. But their other menu items have fallen short. Chicken fajitas have gotten more bland. The charros beans used to be my favorite here. It had a unique flavor. Now it tastes like any other place. Had eaten here for many years on a regular basis, but now only eat here on rare occasion. What happened?!

We have been solid regulars, enjoying the generous plates. But this is to alert to a slackening of service and especially of overpriced extras. They charge $ 3.50 for a tiny bowl of simple melted american cheese… not enough to get past a few chips. Plus there was one server for seversl tables. I had to re-fill our salsa. NOTRETURNING. Too easy to go elsewhere. BTW LaPalma is not a standout. Been there: canned chicken on their ballyhooed soft tacos…

These reviews are a joke. The service is horrible. The food was gross. The ground beef was dry. The refried beans are watery. The rice lacks flavor. The server was annoyed because we asked for prices of the beers and individual items. One of the waitresses sons was sitting at a table playing a video game and it was so loud an older gentleman had to get up and move across the restaurant. I tried to go to the bathroom and the restroom door was unlocked and the same servers son was on the toilet with his pants down. Seriously. Worst Mexican restaurant experience ever!

BEST taqueria in town. BEST green salsa and chips in town. Diverse selection of delicious food. Polite and helpful staff. Yeah I come here all the time you best believe! At least once or twice a week I come by. Reasonable prices and large portions as well!

Great food and service. The tacos are excellent, the meat is juicy and well seasoned. Highly recommended.

First off, if you are dining in, sit at the tables, not the booths. The booths are awkwardly tall. Shaquille O’Neal would fit perfectly in these booths, but for the rest of us mortals, the table top is darn near at chin level. Secondly, I’m a straw guy when I have a beverage. The cups are so large that the straws are too short to work. I lost my straw twice in my seemingly 100 ounce glass. If you are a hot sauce person, you have come to the right place. I counted 5 different sauces to choose from at each table, not to mention the green & red sauce they bring to you tableside with your chips. This review is based solely on the tacos. I tried the napolitos(cactus), beef fajita, and chicken tacos. They were all good, but nothing stood out to me. The chicken & beef fajita were fairly bland in my opinion. Luckily, there was the army of hot sauces to rectify that. I had a very pleasant server and the pricing was reasonable. Taqueria Jalisco may not be at the top of my totem poll for Mexican cuisine, but don’t take my word for it, try it yourself.

I came here based on a recommendation I got while searching for good tex-mex food at a location that would be airing the soccer game that night. I was not disappointed. The restaurant itself is located in a strip mall, and isn’t too easy to spot unless you are looking. Inside, they cover all the basics and even have some Mexican themed decorations up, although they also have plenty of Miller Light branding around as well. I picked a table and was quickly greeted with a warm bowl of chips and both a red and green salsa for dipping. The menu was pretty large, but they included a picture of each item which made it a little easier to choose. Orders were taken quickly, and it was time to dig into the chips and salsa. I was a big fan of the red salsa, which looked like what you would typically get but also packed a little bit of heat. Before we could get down to the bottom of the basket of chips, our waitress brought out a fresh basket and new bowls of salsa. This trend continued with drinks as well, and nobody ever made it to the bottom of their glass without getting a refill that night. This was some of the best service I’ve had at any restaurant, and never had to ask for anything, even when it got busy. After already filling up on the complimentary appetizer, our food arrived. The size of the meal that we got was huge, and easily enough for 2 full dinners without having chips to munch on before we got our orders. I got an order that came with enchiladas, Mexican beef, beans, rice, and guacamole. The enchiladas were great, but the beef dish was the best thing on the plate. It came with some flour tortillas, which appeared to be homemade, to use to corral all of the food into something manageable. The rice and beans were pretty much what you would get anywhere, and had generous portions as well. The only thing on the plate that seemed out of place was the bright green guacamole that had a very smooth consistency and was definitely made from something that came in a box not labeled avocados. I ended the night having eaten as much as I could possibly eat, with a to-go box loaded with another full meal, and with a bill less than $ 10. I will definitely be back the next time I am around the area, both for the great service and delicious food.

The gorditas and tacos are excellent in this place. Good size portions and good prices on their food. Don’t let the location fool you, there’s deliciousness inside.

The key to this place is that you have to ask for their a la carte menu. I usually order two a la carte barbacoa tacos with pico and queso. Generally my bill is never more than $ 6.00.

Beef fajita tacos. yummy. a little expensive for a hole in the wall in BFE but no doubt good. They are so new they don’t even know what they sale so you can get some chips thrown in for free if you just say you got some last time. Or maybe only my face can score chips for free. U decide
