First off, I called in my order for pick up. when I got to the store, it took them about 5 minutes to find the order in their system. When they finally found it, she told me it was out for delivery. Even though i never provided an address. It was going to some random address nowhere near me. I had to wait about 20 minutes for the delivery driver to return. By the time i got home the food was cold. The food itself was alright, but nothing special. The wonton soup is bland. The seafood eggrolls are very tiny conpared to the regular ones. The Lo Mein was edible, but didnt have a lot of flavor.

We’ve eaten at Weng’s a couple of times leaving Willis and heading back to The Woodlands. The service was great, establishment clean and the food was good. No complaints! Will return when we are in that area.

Didn’t even give it a chance. Called to order lunch and they don’t serve lunch on the weekends. Don’t offer anything comparable for lunch either. Only can order dinner portions at dinner prices, no soup, no egg rolls. Not interested in that kind of service.

Been here numerous times in the past. Food and service were decent. This time it was terribly slow service. Called in an order 45 mins in advance, then waited an additional 30 minutes when I got there. Hopefully it was just a bad day…

Crab Ragoons absolutely wonderful, stuffed perfectly! Fried Rice was tasty and easily could be split by three. Spicy Coconut Chicken Curry yummy.

We have had a hard time finding an Asian restaurant we really liked, and this one, despite the good reviews, we also found to be just average. Certainly not bad food, but it hardly stands out. I wouldn’t say it was great for kids. Neither of our kids enjoyed it. The«spicy«food(as it was labeled on the menu) was nothing close to spicy. It’s close to our house, but I’d drive a little further if I found a place I liked better, and I believe there are better places in the Conroe area.

Me and some friends stopped in for lunch. Awesome service, with great lunch specials. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the overall experience, we are just passing through town but would stop again if we could.

This is my favorite Chinese food in the area. The crab puffs are super tastey as are the egg rolls and spring rolls. The lunch selection is very affordable and the food comes out lightning quick. They use high quality vegetables and meats as well. No mystery meats here!

Nice, clean, not fancy. Good for kids /family /group. Open area so a bit noisy. Hot and sour soup was less than average but egg rolls and coconut chicken curry was good and spicy — but not too spicy. Good food, fast service. We’ll be back.

I’ve been coming to this place off and on since it opened. I’ve learned that they have good days and bad days as far as the food goes. For the most part, it’s «just okay.» For around 7 bucks, I can eat a decent lunch if I get a water to drink(I don’t pay $ 2+ for drinks — just a matter of principal). The problem is, the quality of the food has recently gone somewhat downhill. I want to like it. The servers are friendly, but it’s just not that good. They’ve really started skimping on their meat portions for lunch plates, and when I leave, I still feel like I could have eaten more. Last time I ordered Mongolian Chicken, I think there were 4 strips of chicken on the plate. To me, that’s not okay. Maybe some people won’t notice, but it’s an insult to intelligent customers. If they don’t improve, I’ll not likely return my business.

Been wanting to try this place and we weren’t disappointed! Well, maybe a tad but overall happy. The service was wonderful. Everyone was attentive and anticipated our needs. The kiddo had Chicken Lo Mein and we also tried the egg rolls and crab puffs. All were excellent and not too greasy. I had the Moo Shu Shrimp and was pleasantly surprised at the shrimp I received! Too many places around here skimp on the shrimp but these were nice and big! My ONE complaint is that they use wonton wrappers for their«pancakes» on the Moo Shu. That’s crazy! They’re super thin and fall apart as soon as you try to fill them with the mixture. I mentioned this to the waiter(maybe owner?) and he acknowledged they don’t have the real pancakes. I’m thinking maybe don’t have this dish until you can do it right? The Moo Shu minus the pancakes was really good so I didn’t mind eating it by itself. Portions are HUGE as everyone noted so go on and check this place out!

There really aren’t any great Chinese restaurants around Lake Conroe. Mostly average at best — to scary run out the door screaming at worst. MEOW! Weng’s Wok is nothing special. We popped in here at 5:30pm on a Wednesday night for take out. It was virtually empty when we walked in, which sometimes can cause me to hesitate, but being super hungry I grabbed a menu anyway. They have all your usual suspects on a Chinese menu and we opted for sesame chicken and mongolian beef. The service for us at least was friendly and quick. My husband had a beer while we waited for our food and it looks like the place started to fill up. This gives me hope that perhaps the food at least has some draw locally. I think with our two entrees, beer, and tip it was around 30+ dollars. Not super economical nor outrageously overpriced The restaurant is clean and modern looking with your typical Asian motif. It isn’t huge but spacious enough for large parties or a quick lunch meeting. It didn’t take long for our food to come out. Everything was packed nicely inside our bag and still hot when we got home. The white rice was steamed to perfection. Bizarrely, this always makes me happy. The sesame chicken was flavorful, but my husband felt it was a little chewy. Perhaps it was low quality meat. The Mongolian beef was not coated in topping and certainly wasn’t as salty as Pei Wei. I always blow up like a balloon after eating PW, so I know they use way too much sodium in their food. Yet while the MB had a nice warm kick it certainly lacked in overall flavor. Not the worst just not the best. I have to say I was disappointed that they overloaded us with onions, but hardly any other veggies in either dish. Maybe I assumed wrongly that there would be more fresh veg in these dishes. Overall we weren’t totally offended but won’t be rushing back for more. Not that this matters in anyway shape or form unless you are a total weirdo like me who likes to keep their fortunes, but their fortunes SUCK! :-(First time ever I tossed them instead of putting them with my collection.
