Great pizza. 1 of a kind. The sweet sauce is awesome. Takeout is great and prices are very affordable.

Pool tables: Two coin-op pool tables and some employees that love the game. Strange combination of pizza joint and local tavern.

My go to for pizza and buffalo chicken cheesesteaks… and they deliver!(Conshohocken location) Pizza: Sweet red sauce w a thinner crust– crust can be OK to good. Norristown style pizza. love it, and I suggest adding something salty to balance the sweet sauce. I usually go for pepperoni. However, wtf is going on w the cut — never ever close to even but mehhh! Def one of my favorite bites that remind me of my childhood. Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak: it is good. Nothing special just good. Delivery: usually 30m-1hr. A side note: I wasn’t a fan of their Sicilian pizza. However, I only tried it once.

I had a chicken parm sandwich which was very good. The sauce is a tad sweet but very good. The quality of the mozzarella was excellent and not greasy like the cheap mozzarella at most pizza places. The pizza looked very good too. Definitely eat here if you are in the area and want good food. Nice family owned restaurant and you could tell that they get a regular dinner crowd. Take out was doing a brisk business and they have six packs for carryout with a pretty good variety.

I’ve been trying to find the best pizza in the Conshohocken area. This is definitely the most different type of pizza I’ve had in Conshy, I’m not sure if I would say it’s the best though. I love NJ shore Pizza(Mac and Mancos) and this has a similar taste but still not on the same level. The cheese and crust were really good, but the sauce was a little too sweet and it felt like it was a bite of cheese then a bite of sauce instead a cohesive mix of the two. I will defenitly be getting pizza again from here, but I’m still searching for the perfect slice in Conshy.

Their pizza is different from anything I’ve had before but it is SO good. They also have great happy hour specials on Saturdays and Sunday’s(½ price apps, 2.50 domestic beers and everything is delicious). The bartenders are so nice and the service is great here.

Having lunch here today this is the second time in the past 7 days. I have been eating their pizza for over 50 years. Enjoying two thin crust sweet sauce slices. The best pizza in the area. Their Special steak sandwich is really good. I’m usually here at least 3 times a month.

Love the food, the pizza is the best if you like sweet sauce. It is a matter of taste. I eat here at least once a month. Only thing keeping it from five stars is service.

I’m a 20+ year customer. My pizza buying days go back to when they were in the old location. You either love it or hate it. My family definitely loves it… the pizza, that is. In recent years I’ve noticed the service level going downhill at this location. Not all the time, but more often then not, the people taking orders over the phone are rude. These are your gate-keepers. Teach them to respect the customers placing orders. On more than one occasion I received an oval-shaped pizza. Come on. Seriously? Get rid of the employees that are an eyesore to your establishment. The rude and obnoxious people. The food prep people who make oval pizzas. The people who clean the bathrooms seemingly with their eyes shut. I love Franzone’s pizza but have been taking my business to the Bridgeport location. They seem to care a lot more about the ‘bigger picture’ than the Conshohocken location. It shouldn’t be just about making a buck. Make your customers want to come back. It all makes sense now of why the Bridgeport location was the only location listed in Philadelphia magazines top pizza places.

Taste like a pizza made with ketchup and the crust taste like something that someone’s first try at homemade pizza.

Great food. Horrible service and horrible delivery. 2hours+ on multiple occasions. Didn’t seem to care about the inconvenience.

Nice small clean bar with a good size cocktail area and game room. Good service. Philly cheesesteak calzone is humongous and delicious! Feeds 4 people and only $ 15.99! Sweet sauce is great on the cheesesteak, but not my preference on the pizza. The macaroni bites are awesome squared, but not as cheesy when they serve them triangle style.

This is my family’s favorite pizza place. We are always happy when we are in the Conshohocken area at lunchtime or dinnertime so that we can go to Franzone’s. We call ahead to order the pizza so that it will be ready shortly after arrival. I’ve read the other reviews about the disappearing waitresses, and we’ve experienced that, too. We’ve also experienced great service, too. It’s seems hit or miss. The pizza has a perfect thin crispy crust. The sauce is definitely sweet. The cheese to sauce to crust ratio is perfect. There is a self-service fridge for sodas and beers. The only negative is that it seems a little dingy and dirty in the dining room, and the bathrooms don’t seem very clean.

Traditional pizza joint with excellent pizza. Sauce is deliciously sweet. They also have a game area with pool tables(which I find are unique and bonus add). There is a small bar area with TVs and reasonably priced beverages. They have a variety of beers available for takeout and also deliver beer up to two 6 packs. Overall, probably a 3.5 star joint but the tasty pizza and beer variety tipped the stars in its favor.

A tip if you don’t love sweet sauce and end up here: the bbq chicken pizza: $ 13.95 for a small, ground chicken w bbq sauce and otherwise just cheese. really delicious! it’s sweet but so is all bbq sauce!

Pizza was delivered in the 40 minute time frame as promised. But it was cold and their sauce was just too sweet for my taste. Not bad, just not what I look for in a good slice.

Whenever I am passing through this area around 6 pm or so, there is a good chance the family will be enjoying a fine Franzone’s pizza for dinner. This a popular place and the sister to the even more popular Bridgeport location. Their pizza has a very thin crust and an ever so sweet sauce. I liken this to a pizza you would find on the boardwalk down the Jersey shore. The biggest problem here is that a slice isn’t nearly as filling as an ordinary pizza, meaning it is too easy to polish off one of these babies with little help from the family. The staff has always been friendly both on the phone taking my to go order as well as in-person. Another very convenient aspect is that they have a small bar inside. If you are too early for your pick-up, you may as well grab a nice cold Yuengling. Owner Charles Franzone is always visible on premise. Always a good sign to see the owner actively involved. They do have a credit card policy that only allows you to use a card for transactions exceeding $ 10.

Last night, one of my favorite pizza joints from home, Maruca’s in Seaside Heights, burned down during a really tragic boardwalk fire. But as if it was a sign from the Big Man Upstairs that everything was going to be ok, I discovered a pizzeria that makes pizza so similar to Maruca’s that I could have sworn I was sitting on the boardwalk right now. During an office lunch(which usually suck… if you work in an office, you know what I’m talking about), I got to try Franzone’s Pizza. WOW! It is exactly how I like it– thin crust, sweet sauce, mix of cheddar/mozz cheeses, swirl of sauce on top. Question is: how often can I bring home this pizza from Conshohocken back to South Philly, before I a) gain 50 lbs b) completely OD on this deliciousness or c) have my husband divorce me cause I never cook anymore? Many reviewers will say that they don’t care for the sweet sauce(in fact, my boss said we can no longer order from here cause he didn’t like the sauce) but I would suggest giving it a try and seeing for yourself!
