This is third or fourth time staying in this motel, not exactly sure but this time wasn’t great. Starting with the positive, it’s right off the interstate, they allow pets, they have a pool, right next to a multitude of restaurants(Waffle House is about 30 feet away) and Walmart is just a walk away if you need anything. Staff is friendly and for $ 45 a night, it’s not bad. Now, this time, I’ve had some issues. A small complaint was the TV not working too well in terms of volume. A very minor, trivial issue. The next two would be the WiFi and the cleanliness. Why am I paying $ 3 for WiFi that can only seem to be run on one device at once and that runs horribly slow? I shouldn’t be. The Motel 6 I stayed at in Van Horn(If you haven’t heard of Van Horn, Texas, don’t feel bad — I hadn’t either because it’s in the middle of nowhere) was free and worked wonderfully. How does that make sense? And the cleanliness… Well, up until 11:30AM, all was well(aside from the WiFi) until I killed three little roaches within 20 minutes as they scurried along the desk. Not appealing at all. I would’ve given this place 4 or 5 stars but with the shitty WiFi and roaches, it gets bumped down to a 2. Not a horrible place to stay but WiFi should be free and there should be no bugs.

I don’t understand all the negative reviews. As far as Motel 6’s go, this is a pretty decent one. I’ve stayed at a lot of Motel 6’s and a lot of $ 40 motels in this place is a pretty decent value. Some reviewers dinged the location. The locations actually not that bad. Parking lot was clean and tidy and well lit. It’s next to a Walmart. There’s several restaurants within easy walking distance including an IHOP and a Mexican restaurant. Even a Starbucks practically next-door :-) my room was in good shape, the carpeting was fine, the bedcovers were good, and the bathroom was fine. Sure there was no microwave no, mini fridge and a small TV — but it’s a $ 40 motel. There is a microwave and ice machine and vending machines in the lobby. There’s even a pool. And the service was very friendly. I’m giving this place four stars because it deserves it in the realm of $ 40 a night motels.

We stayed here on a cross-country trip after a long day of driving. We didn’t really care where we stayed and this is the first place we stopped that we knew would allow pets. It’s so random — sometimes Motel 6 will be great(clean and cheap), other times it can be a dump. Unfortunately this time it wasn’t great. We encountered the following problems: — door wouldn’t lock or unlock properly — brown stains all over the bathroom — no fridge, microwave, coffee pot — dingy bedding with stains and holes — teeny teeny tiny room(seriously the smallest hotel room I’ve ever seen) The redeeming features of this place are: — they allow pets — next to a Walmart(for all of your shopping needs) — across the street from Sonic(yum yum yum!) — cheap($ 40/night) — right off the interstate All things considered, though, I would definitely not stay here again unless there was absolutely no vacancy elsewhere. It was just kind of gross.

This Motel 6 is horrendous. I agree with the other reviewers. I’m not even going to validate those statements with a full-fledged review. I’m going to give them a review that is of the same quality as the room I slept in. Small tv. Smoke smell in non-smoking rm. Shady ppl and area. No microwave or refrigerator. Bathroom door not shutting all the way. One of the worst Motel 6 locations ever. This is my 3rd cross country and I’ve stayed in Motel 6 locations for 90%. Wifi is $ 3 and slower than dial up. Fix this place.

I agree with Bruce that this place is pretty much a dump and it doesnt’ really deserve 2 stars, except for the fact that it ran me only $ 38 to stay here when all I needed was a bed. So there it is. A «Meh» at best.

It’s amazing what 600 miles does. I stayed in a Motel 6 last night clear across Arkansas and Tennessee — I rated that one 4 stars. This one, only the 1. This is one that is more a «motel» since it doesn’t have the interior corridors. The room is what I expected — a mild smell of moisture, a fly on the wall and dirt around the screws in the shower. It still has the older style coverlets and curtains. That said, for $ 58, it’s a pair of beds where my wife and I can stay on the road with the dog. Not a whole lot of room for parking with a trailer — they«borrow» the Wal-Mart parking lot next door when the space runs out. I got the impression that this is not the best neighborhood, being very close to the highway. There was a security guard on duty the whole night, patrolling the parking lot and keeping an eye on things. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I’ll drive on an look for one of the newer properties.
