What a find stumbling across this place! With the price so low, I was pleasantly shocked that it was so clean, comfortable and well-decorated, and the staff was so friendly and hospitable. The front desk opens at 7:00am but when I told the person on the phone that I’d need to check out earlier than that, he offered to arrive early just for me. And he did. Plus, this was on New Year’s Day so I can only guess it was miserable to get up so early. And like I said, the prices are unbelievably low. I booked right off of their own site and not any discount travel sites. The price I got was a normal price and not a sale. It’s located right on Rte 16 at that traffic light where you turn left to get to North Conway, so perfect location. I’ve stayed at a lot of nice B&Bs and inns in the Conway area for my short overnight trips, but this one wins. I will be a repeat customer. Thank you all so much. (Note: Just don’t listen to Apple Maps as it directs you to the other end of Wilder St.)

Decided to spend a night in North Conway as I haven’t been up north in awhile, and my boyfriend had never been to the White Mountains. While searching for hotels and rooms to book, the Scenic Inn instantly caught my eye. Great prices, great location, and great reviews on other Trip Review sites. We generally only stay in chain hotels when we travel, but I think our night here might change our mind going forward! We were greeted at the front door instantly when we checked-in and were told basic details about the Inn. The lady(I wish I got her name since she was SO nice) then asked if we had ever been to North Conway, and which we said no. She then took her time showing us where we were on a map, asked us what we are interested in doing, and gave us her opinions on what to explore. Her recommendations were spot on! The Scenic Inn is located in a great location, about 15 minutes away from downtown, and just a few streets away from the Kancamagus Highway. As for the room it was all we needed. Free Wi-Fi(which is always a plus) and a cute upstairs deck. Although some hotels/inns in the area might have nicer views of the mountains, I would still recommend staying here based on the service we received during check-in. Even during check-out the same lady remembered us and wanted to know exactly what we did and how we enjoyed our stay. Already thinking of staying here again next summer!

What a wonderful place to stay! We had a spacious room with 2 beds and a decent lounge chair where my son bunked, a clean bathroom, seriously cute porch overlooking the fall colors, awesome wifi and very nice owners! There was even hot coffee in the am! And the price was right for what we needed!

My dau. lives and breathes just outside Boston and the air is not always so fresh. My NYC son, dau. and I decided to trek to Salem, MA and then take the scenic drive through The White Mtn. Nat. Park near N. Conway, NH. Conway was the perfect stop over location. The Scenic Inn is mom and pop run and they have a little bark-less dog too. The morning after we checked in, I watched as they carefully planted flowers in a raised bed. They were more than accommodating. Ice was easy accessed by a back door to the room. The bed was comfortable and fresh with cotton linens. It hugged my tired body like it had missed me. The wide screen TV was not up to par as images looked a bit squat. It was good for a laugh. There is a full porch top and bottom with chairs for watching the world roll by. Homes are nestled in sight. It felt like home to me. Upon arising we walked across the road for food and coffee. A general store and more shops with all the provisions was right down the road. Gas up before you head out as this is more wilderness than most are used to seeing and driving through-uses the tank. The area is breathtaking and filled with stop over areas to view and sit butt in the numerous waterfalls areas. There are antiques shops, covered bridges, little towns, and homey eateries once you get out of the mtn. region. There is a no helmet law for bikers in NH so you will see more bikes than cars. Be kind… no short stopping to gawk with a biker behind you. For whatever reason, New Hampshire pedestrians don’t look both ways before stepping off the curb. In that state, the two footed rule… kid in tow… still no looking both ways. In NY and Long Island, we don’t cotton to pedestrians… get a car or else! Ha. Laconia has Bike Week this year in June… just so you know. My gym is filled with bikers and many are humble, hard working, and big hearted people. Look out for bikers, please.
