Don’t get your hopes up. The Meatloaf is good when they have it which is never. Vegetable soup not. They are out of that too. It would be a good place for a restaurant with proper management.

Ok, Cracker Barrel is a Southern food chain. I know. But it’s been so long since I’ve stepped into one, that I couldn’t resist the gravitational pull of the quaint rocking chairs, the country store, the peg game, and a hot country meal with all the fixin’s. After consulting the menu numerous times, I had to get the country fried steak, Mac n cheese, cheese grits– you might as well call this the whole lot of carbs special. This was late at night, but they still had some grits and it wasn’t disappointing. They had a good amount of cheese without overload, and the grits were moist yet had a light, flaky texture. Spot on. I think I’ll come here again and order another bowl. The country fried steak was still smoking when I got it, and cooked perfectly. Mac n cheese was standard, with their trademark cheesy taste but not overdone. Then as if this really helped my case, I got a side salad with fat free dressing. Lol. Wonderful service. At closing time and after, she was still refilling my water. Love this place!

Great service every time. Food has always come out fresh and accurate. Store is fun to walk through and get little goodies. I like to get the peppermint /clove sticks each visit.

The food at Cracker Barrel is okay. My problem is the hokey atmosphere and ‘shucky darn and slop the chickens’ attitude and uniforms. I’m Georgia born and bred but avoid this restaurant like The Waffle House. I can only tolerate so many Shuges and Hons at one sitting.

Earlier today I had brunch with one of my bff’s and her little one. We had to wait a little over 20 minutes for a table for 3. One should expect a wait list one the weekends as it’s always a crowd. Our waitress was nice and was patient with the kiddo. Most of my order came out hot. I ordered my usual which is Mama’s Pancake Breakfast with a side of Hash Brown Casserole. My eggs were not as hot as I’d like but I didn’t feel like dealing with the hassle of sending them back. We all enjoyed our food. I know I will return as I crave their pancakes from time to time.

I love Cracker Barrel more than I should admit. This is the one I tend to stop at when I’m visiting the area. Chicken fried steak, chicken and dumplins, biscuits with apple butter, breakfast, it just doesn’t matter. I want all of it. Part of my love for Cracker Barrel is in my time dating my wife, with good memories attached, and part is that it’s a bit novel having no southern attachments myself, growing up.

This Cracker Barrel was no different than any of the other restaurants in the chain. It was brightly lit, the gift shop was overflowing with cute items to temp your wallets open, and the dining room was bustling with servers and customers. We didn’t have to wait long to be sat, and we were given the nicest, most entertaining server. It was hilarious when she struck up a random conversation with me and my friend, and then pretty much started complaining about her job(she said the cooks and servers were driving her mad) and saying she was tired and ready to go home. She may have been complaining but she was still nice and funny. She even gave me a free side of grits because she couldn’t find where to ring up just a plain side of grits on the computer, which was actually a good thing… because those grits were the worse part of my meal… and all the salt on the table couldn’t help them. Other than that, my pancakes were good, and who can be mad about pancakes for dinner. Also… I’m still a genius and can defeat the peg game on the table easily. There was plenty of parking at this location, but I’m sure it’s a madhouse when they’re really busy. The cashier station and gift shop can be a bit tight when a lot of people are roaming around and paying for their meals, so just break out a few excuse me(s) and do some pirouettes, and you’ll be out of the madness before you know it. This is definitely an A-OK location, for out in the boonies when I go visit my friend.

I freakin love Cracker Barrel!!! Pancakes are just right, not too thick, not too thin. Everything comes out perfect, and y’all know how to make eggs. I like mine scrambled, and not overcooked. And service is spot on! I was on vacation from Seattle and there’s only a couple of other places back there were the food came close. My bestie and I were always on the look out for a Cracker Barrel.

GRITS!!! These people had good grits!!! I havent had grits this good since I was in NOLA in January! Ive tried them at other places and they always suck. I was so happy for good grits. Anyways, breakfast was good. The waitress was nice. We ate here for brunch on the 4th of July. The waitress told us a few good spots to watch the fire works and gave great suggestions for food. She was patient with us when we didnt know what we wanted to eat b/c we were too busy talking about foolishness. They had a strawberry lemonade that was good but could have been chilled. I dont think theres a set recipe for it tho b/c The Boo’s tasted like saccharine. Oh well. Good food and good service. If Im ever in Conyers again, I’ll make a trip here.

Im happy they have turkey bacon AND turkey sausage as options on their menu as well as some healthier options with the calories listed. My food was tasty, I had turkey sausage, cheese grits, and those wonderful yummy buttermilk biscuits. My Mom had the same but with scrambled eggs. The eggs were very hard scrambled and cold. Thumbs down on the eggs. I dont eat eggs at all but I know how to cook them light hot and fluffy! While you wait for your food they have a wooden peg game you can play to keep you busy. Also you can request some checkers to play as wells! The merchandise store they have in the front of the restaurant is strategically placed so that you have to walk thru it to be seated and walk thru it to leave. My Mom bought a toy! Big Kid!!!

Every time I go to the south I must hit up a Cracker Barrel. This one was no different from any of the others. The food was good, the servers an hostess were very nice and helpful, but the service was a little on the slow side. Overall mediocre experience, but found this great cup in the store.

This place is located next to the free way. The parking is easy. The store is clean and the employees are friendly. The server was on top of his game and promptly gave us refills, check ups and our checks. FIRSTTIMERS: For the people who have never been here, Cracker Barrel is a breakfast joint within a merchant store they run. The merchant store cells clothes, candy, arts and craft, candles, toys, jams etc… — its really diverse. What I find the most interesting are the different types of candies and jams(APPLEBUTTER) you usually cannot find at supermarkets or at other stores. FOOD: The meats are a delight. I had ham, bacon stripes and sausage. The ham reminds me of the ham you eat at thanksgiving. The sausage was freshly made. The bacon stripes are extremely crunchy like a chip. Perhaps the best bacon, I have ever had but im from California :) The sweet tea was refreshing, cheap and refillable. If I had to characterize the tea, it was more on the tea flavor side. The grits were freshly made but with no cheese to go with. IMO it served as the«rice» to the meal. The biscuit was buttery, fluffy and fresh. Perhaps one of the best biscuits I have ever had at a breakfast joint. The scrambled eggs were good but nothing special. The apple butter cinnamon was to die for. I love it! The pancake was fluffy and good. However mine was a bit burned :/ CONCLUSION: Overall, i would definitely come back to this place again! Cheers :) TIP: Coming here on a Sunday brunch = a lot of people, 30 minute wait for table and another 15 minute wait for food.

This was my first trip to any Cracker Barrel. Great service, clean, and overall well-organized. Smoked sausage was good. However, the hype around the food was very disappointing considering that it was about $ 50.00 for two adults and 3 children — two of them are four and under… this is the south, but the grits tasted like they were cooked up north — no offense…
