Johnny’s New York Style Pizza

So I’ve been in Conyers for some months now and I’ve been hesitant but I finally stopped and ordered a Stromboli. It was fresh and tasty and their menu had a lot of options. Good to know they deliver and they serve alcohol! I did not give 5 stars because they’re a little overpriced and I don’t mind paying the extra buck for better food but it wasn’t that amazing and especially for the size.

Omg! The best pizza ever! Crust is not too thick and toppings are super fresh! Will frequent!

I have been in some customer service situations in my life, but none compare to my experience here. So much in fact I’m thinking of calling their corporate office. Ordered two appetizers when we walked in, received our drinks didn’t get any other help until 50 minutes later. The waitress brought our pizza with NO appetizers. Claimed that they had to make «fresh» garlic knots. At this point we tell her never mind that we have our pizza there’s no need for appetizers, we don’t see her again for another 20 minutes until she brings our check. The manager is walking around (knowing we are upset) pretty much ignoring us and asking every other customer how they are doing. INCOMPETENCE. Will not be back ever.

Had the fried feta as an appetizer, really yummy! My son and I both ordered the Stromboli, it was beyond amazing. Server was super sweet, wait time on food was good and priced fairly. Can’t wait to come back to try the pizza!

It was my hubby’s turn to choose on our date lunch. I have not had a great track record in Conyers with Pizza, so I was actually not looking forward to it. Well boy was I wrong. The place looked freshly painted, and inviting. The waiter couldn’t have been more kind. The pizza was the best I have had here in Conyers. A guy was even cleaning the windows while we were there. They really take pride in keeping the place up. It was a great experience, and I can’t wait to take my kids with us next time.

Best pizza in Conyers! We also love the garlic knots and spaghetti and meatballs.

New owner is doing an amazing job! I ordered the Italian calzone and it was to die for. It came out piping hot and was almost more than I could eat. The ingredients and the cheese were extremely fresh. The bread was absolutely delicious. The interior is updated and includes a full bar. The restaurant is kept in immaculate condition and is impeccably clean. I can’t say enough about the new owner and the new manager. I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town. Loved it and thank you Johnny’s!

Pizza was very good and authentic. However, the Greek salad was not. Service was very good.

This Johnny’s has a new owner who is striving to make location a GO TO place for locals!
Since taking over the décor, the menu, the quality & the atmosphere have all improved!
Since it is close to our office, I have visited about once a week on average and have seen the changes!
New items will be added to the specials soon.
I personally love the buffalo ranch chicken wraps!

My son got to make his own pizza today! He loved the experience and the taste! Thanks Johnnys Conyers for the great food, great service, and fun time!

The pizza is always good at Johnnys and it’s as close to New York Style as any in Conyers. The hidden treasure there are their wings. The hot wings are better than any in town and we’ve had them all. No complaints from us — its always great!

The few times I’ve been here throughout the years they’ve been pretty decent no complaints or anything, good pizza and fresh ingredients.

Love it, very friendly and attentive and loved the oldies music while we ate. We will be back.

Let me preface by stating that I do not leave reviews good or bad In general. Bad service from young server, we felt sorry for her that she was probably was overwhelmed. The food took over an hour after placing our initial order. There were only five of us. Drinks were not refilled at all. Pizza order was incorrect and remade. Stromboli that was ordered was never received. Calzone was offered instead after everyone else had completed their meal. Server did not seem to understand that substituting a calzone with ricotta cheese for a stromboli was not the same. Horrible experience in general. We asked to speak with the manager and he refused. The poor teenager server sent to our table informed us that there was nothing they could do for us regarding our service or bill. They were sorry however, it was busy and it was trivia night. He instead went outside to smoke a cigarette which he was still smoking when we left. When we left, we were mockingly told goodby by another person who had been outside smoking with the manager. I have never bad such a poor experience and I travel and eat out near my home at least tree nights at week given my work schedule.

I’m from upstate NY and Johnny’s is one of the few spots in Georgia that serves good pizza. The Johnny’s in Conyers is a good place to go for pizza and beer. They have several TV’s but they’re small. The Conyers location isn’t that big so the small TV’s aren’t as big of a deal.

The pizza here isn’t the best I’ve had, but for a Conyers Pizza spot, it’s not bad.
The prices are great in this economic slump.
The lunch specials are a value you can’t knock.
All in all a good spot if your in the area, but I wouldn’t break my neck to get there.

Stopped in here after a JV basketball game, it was late & we were hungry. This is a nice little neighborhood handout spot with college sports on the TV and beer usually flowing. It was pretty low key for a Saturday night but I won’t complain since I’d been in a gym full of screaming people all day. The pizza wasn’t as good as most of the other Johnny’s I’ve been to & doesn’t hold a candle to Mellow Mushroom. But Atmosphere & customer service alone I’d come back. Not the best but certainly not the worse I’ve had.
